We had these guys move a hot tub across town (SAF) on a Saturday. They were prompt, courteous, efficient, and skilled. Both the pick up and delivery routes were challenging and they figured out how to move this 700-pound beast with great care and efficiency. Angel and his team are amazing. Ours was a complicated multi-day, multi-location move: northern NM ranch to town (that took four trucks) and then town rental to new house. He and his team took care to wrap every item of ours as if it they were treasures (even that cheap pine table!) Endlessly patient, polite and always willing to offer alternatives. When I questioned the number of trucks, he said " stacking is very hard on the furniture". He was right every time! No breakages, no scratches. Respect!!! Angel, owner, and his team are absolutely the best movers in Santa Fe! They care and prove it by wrapping the art, upholstered furniture and by handling each piece gently and carefully. We had a great experience with Advanced Relocation in Santa Fe. They moved a Hot Tub from the portal of one house to a more rural setting. The Team was pleasantly early, very organized and well equipped. A nice big truck, an oversized dolly and a trailer. Quit the morning of move. Schedule was pushed a week before original date. Got a text saying I was being charged the entire rate because he was missing out on work. I'm a designer and do moves several times a year... never had this experience. I wanted to be fair & suggested I might pay 1/2 the labor. I got texts, never a phone call, that said he'd worked out the job... no cancellation fees. I tried several times to call/communicate - I got texts that he'd call and didn't. @ 8:00 am Day of Move - I called and got Angel's "partner" who I just realized I'd been texting with and she had no idea about the job details. The only info I got was that they only work from 9:30am to 3:30pm... first time hearing this. With a lunch break that's only 5 hours. I had asked that a pickup be made @ 9:00am... got a text return saying "tomorrow we will be there @ 9:30." Texts communications are bad communication... can come off wrong. I told "partner" that the texts were curt & rude sounding. Since she didn't know about the job I asked if Angel could call me - as I'd been trying to reach him for 5 days. Angel called back telling me I was lucky to have him... that his company didn't have to adjust schedules... that I was rude for changing times and giving feedback to his "partner". Tells me his truck has broken down and he's renting one as we are talking - then he says he's NOT doing the job... 1-1/2 hours before he's to start. Not accommodating to changing schedules... Not communicative... Equipment issues... Short fuse... Quit @ last minute / day of.... Would you use them? read more

I have used them twice, and highly recommend them. Both times they picked up furniture from stores in Santa Fe and delivered it to Placitas. The stores knew them and I didn't have to coordinate anything; it was seamless. The cost was reasonable and well worth avoiding the headache of loading, unloading and transporting the items myself. NO STARS - DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY - We had contracted with Angel in May for an in town move in Santa Fe in June. Here are the lowlights (there are no highlights): - Scheduled move date had to be pushed a week due to house not being ready for move in. Angel said he was booked for the next week and couldn't do the job AND would be charging us a 100% cancellation fee. - We balked at the cancellation fee but agreed to pay 1/2 of the labor cost. - Angel had a cancellation and said he could do the job. - We had a tight turnaround getting out of old house into the new house due to remodel delays and had to be out in 2 days. - We tried to communicate with Angel to confirm time and schedule but he wouldn't return phone calls - We asked to start the job at 9:00 & his partner replied via text that the crew wouldn't come until 9:30 & would only work until 3:30. - On the day of the move (today!) we tried one more time to reach Angel, we talked with his partner and expressed our frustration with lack of communication and timing issues. - Angel called back immediately, chewed my husband out for being rude AND quit the job an hour before his crew was to start the move. - We scrambled around trying to get another mover to start today - thankfully, we found (2) other companies that could tag team the job in 2 days. - USE MIDNIGHT MOVERS INSTEAD! read more
