I tried moving the really large and heavy armoire up the stairs with a couple of friends. It was a total disaster and almost damaged my stair rails as well as the armoire. I called Ethan at adventure home moving, and they came out the next morning. They got the armoire up the stairs in 10 minutes. Took care of everything with professional competence. Please note: This review has also been posted on Google Reviews. Moving may be stressful, but having the right movers reduces that stress astronomically! The two young men (including one of the founders, Ethan) arrived on time with all the equipment that could possibly be needed. They were kind, personable, efficient, intelligent, careful, showed excellent judgment, and acted as if our belongings MATTERED. They shrink wrapped every single thing except the moving boxes, scrupulously attaching parts (bolts, screws, etc) to each item. They saw to every detail, asked questions whenever necessary, responded to any request with "yes, of course we can do that." They had tools to disassemble furniture, a huge supply of moving blankets, extra boxes, and so forth. They didn't grumble about having to move things to two different locations, didn't whine when a couch wouldn't fit through a door--they just grabbed tools and took the door off. They consistently said, "please" and "thank you," and if they saw one of us moving something, said, "Could we help you with that?" Carefully noting the time, they said they would be taking a 30-minute lunch break, and they kept exactly to schedule. When we asked that certain specially marked boxes be kept together IF possible, they did JUST that. No request was too complicated, nor were they reluctant to do whatever was needed even if it meant extra work. They exceeded EVERY single expectation we might have had, and we've moved a great deal over several decades. It just doesn't get any better than Adventure Home Moving. I can recommended them without a single reservation. My hope is that they have continued success but never grow too busy to give this level of personal, heart-centered service to their customers. If there were more than 5 stars to award, they would deserve more. read more

We recently used Adventure Home Moving for our household move in Santa Fe. From start to finish, they were exceptionally responsive, professional, and pleasant. I received a call from them within an hour of my request (and it should be noted that it was on a weekend evening) .. very impressive. Ethan and Brandon arrived on time on the day of our move, wrapped our furniture with great care (both from our home and storage unit), and placed (and moved and re-placed when requested) in our new home. Made a move from Albuquerque to Colorado Springs. Ethan was very responsive in responding to my inquiry and putting together the quote for services. On moving day Brandon arrived before the crew to double check on the prior walkthrough and to insure that everything I wanted on the truck would be loaded. The loaded no crew was awesome, friendly and efficient. Brandon expertly packed the truck to protect our most precious items. Ethan drove the truck to Colorado and had a crew meet him to unload. Great communication from everyone about where to put my stuff in the new house. Ethan assembled beds and even put a bed skirt between a box spring and mattress. I would give these guys 10 stars if I could! I've moved a few times and Adventure Home Moving are the best movers I've encountered! Not only were they prompt, they went above and beyond what normal movers do. I moved my dad to an assisted living home in Albuquerque and they even helped me get him in the wheelchair. I am a very satisfied customer with this company. They were on time, got right to work. It was a calm experience. I had to move some things into a storage unit, which I haven't done before. They made sure to put things I had marked easy access in storage where I could indeed find this box. I had forgotten that but since it was written on the box, it was read and honored without asking. I would be happy to use their services again. Though I hope the next move is not in the near future! Moving is a stressful life event, this company made it a bit more relaxed, less stress. read more

The movers that came were very professional. Three guys moved my things quickly. They were efficient, focused, friendly, and treated my furniture the way you would take care of your first brand new car. They politely asked about wrapping up certain items and when we arrived at the new location they were fast to unload but patiently waited to see where everything was going to go.
