We had lost power to our family room due to these latest storms. We called Enchanted Electric because of the great reviews. Brooklyn provided the professionalism and experience with our issue from the first call to the end of the project. He found the issue and restored power and did an amazing job. We will continue using Brooklyn for any future projects. Thanks again Brooklyn. Al read more

We had an excellent experience with Enchanted Electric. Though we live on the outskirts, and are a little out of the way, Brooklyn answered right away and got us on his schedule to assess, and set up a 2nd appointment for the work. Arrived on time and very professional in his explanation. He's also checked in that all was working well. It's hard to find professional businesses who are willing to come out a little ways though still within the county area, and rarer for those who check in after all is done. read more

I had an excellent experience with Enchanted Electric. I had an emergency situation when an outlet in my living room smelled like it was burning and was warm to the touch after using the microwave in the kitchen. They came out to Los Alamos, on short notice and after hours for what turned out to be a serious electrical issue. The electrician was extremely professional, knowledgeable and respectful. He quickly identified the problem and showed me melted plastic and damaged wiring that could have easily started a fire. It was honestly a close call, and I'm very grateful for how promptly and professionally everything was handled. The repair was completed efficiently, the communication was great, and I felt much safer afterward. It's hard to find people who are both highly skilled and genuinely trustworthy, and Enchanted Electric absolutely earned my recommendation. read more

My experience with Brooklyn and Enchanted Electric was excellent. He communicated his rates clearly upfront, scheduled an appointment at his earliest convenience, and showed up on time. He explained everything to me super clearly and took what I thought was an inappropriate amount of time to get the job done. He also gave me a little bit of an education about a project that I'm hoping to do at some point in the future. Highly recommend this business! read more

Exorbitant rates and was very displeased by just having been asked for a quote when I informed him I would not move forward with his service after that quote was generated. Unpleasant to speak with and did not seem very professional. Only move forward with any contact if you are prepared to see this service through, regardless of what the cost may be quoted. read more

We really appreciated Brooklyn's expertise in fixing a vexing smart home device wiring problem. Brooklyn is extremely professional and didn't waste any time in getting to the source of the problem. We also appreciated getting valuable advice from Brooklyn on upgrading our electrical panel for an electric car charger and properly sizing our electric system. Brooklyn is dependable, knowledgeable, and meticulous in his work. We will definitely use his services again in the future. read more

Brooklyn did a very professional job. He put in a disconnect for a mini split and it was done perfectly. No mess to clean up afterwards. A clean job. read more

We needed our Rivian wall charger installed in advance of getting our Rivian R1S. We checked Yelp reviews and selected CD "Brooklyn" to install it. While we had the Charger Manual, it was not as clear as it should be. CD went the extra mile to connect with Rivian Support working to insure that it was correctly working. Reviewing our electrical panel, he identified two circuits to our second garage which were not up to code. He pointed out that, heaven forbid, a fire resulted from these circuit breakers malfunctioning, insurance coverage may be at risk. At our request, he upgraded the circuits. While his schedule is full, he made time for us to ensure that our wall charger is properly mounted and functional so that it is ready for our new EV. With another EV on our future's horizon, we will contact CD to install a second charger along with upgrading our electrical panel to handle the load. This was part of his educational process for our future needs as we identified them. Not many Rivian wall chargers have yet to be installed in New Mexico. If you go the Rivian route, CD can totally handle your installation whatever type of wall charger you select. read more

I highly recommend you avoid this contractor. He charges $350 an hour and requires you to sign a harsh contract that does not allow for cancellation without penalty. I gave him over 24 hours notice that I no longer needed his services but he was quite a bully on the phone and demanded I pay a deposit of $350. There are plenty of great electricians in Santa Fe who charge a fraction of what this guy does and are a pleasure to work with. Note his aggressive comments responding to other reviews below and the language he uses on his invoice to get a sense of his business practices. From his invoice: Payment in-full is due upon receipt of this invoice. Failure to do so will result in 24% APR interest applied along with any and all collection costs, attorney's fees/costs and the professional hourly rate applied to the time spent on this collection effort. read more

Brooklyn was professional and thorough - I'd certainly come back to him for any electrical issues that come up!

We had our work done by a local electrician who did the repair the same day with a free estimate. Quality businesses don't have to resort to such extreme behavior. read more

Brooklyn did the electric on our bathroom remodel. He also installed a sub panel. He is professional, reliable, and his work is outstanding. His wiring is neat and precise. No question that the owner of Enchanted Electric, CD, is professional and highly skilled. He was one of the few electricians we contacted who was available. When CD was running late, he gave us the courtesy of calling ahead of time. And he cleaned up after completing the job. What we were unprepared for was the exorbitant cost. Sticker shock! I hope that CD equally divided the payment among the two tradesmen who assisted him (one had to drive a long distance twice.) Although CD was kind enough to remove $300 tax from our bill, we learned a valuable lesson. We won't be signing any future contracts for small jobs. If budget constraints are not a consideration, we recommend Enchanted Electric for quality and dependability. read more

Very professional electrician. He is not cheap, but (1) he is upfront about his rates and (2) he is honest. Best warranty in the business.

Most professional contractor I've ever seen. Fast. Meticulous. Knowledeable. Smart. Thoughtful. And yup, very expensive. But Im glad nothing has to be redone. Brooklyn's work ethic and skills are a cut above. read more

Had Brooklyn replace outlets and trace wiring issues 7/26/24. After a mi imum of 10 electricians we have used on our south capital house he is far and away the most professional, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly we have ever used. I was having a very confusing lighting issue in my new home and Brooklyn (CD) was able to come out the very same day to check out my issue. He took extra time and care to suss out the problem that was created by the previous contractor, provide a temporary fix, and give me a path to move forward towards a permanent fix. He is very knowledgeable in his field and took the time to explain all of my wiring problems and how they were caused. He was professional, courteous, and kind the entire time. Brooklyn came out to our house and was able to diagnose and repair some confusing electrical issues that were a result of errors made decades ago. What a happy experience. We needed several light fixtures installed and a list if small electrical issues fixed. Brooklyn arrived on time. Immediately got to work. Cleaned his work areas as he went. Called CD for an emergency situation after hours. He responded very professionally and was able to come to the house to fix our issue right away. He wore his mask and worked efficiently and courteously. As we had paid for a full hour, but the work did not take that long, he made sure to not leave until he checked everything out, and made sure we were well informed of our situation and any future upgrade options. He is very knowledgeable and I highly recommend him. read more

Wow! Brooklyn was hired to come all the way up to Taos to take care of a major wiring issue that needed to be redone so our modular unit could pass electrical inspection. It was a very challenging and unusual job, requiring crawling into a crawlspace, and some thinking outside the box. He was very professional, answered all my questions, and really seemed to know his stuff! Good communication and followup as well, which is definitely something lacking in a lot of contractors. Would love to have another opportunity to work with him again. You can't go wrong with Enchanted Electric! read more

An absolutely first-rate transaction. CD was completely transparent about pricing, arrived on time, explained what needed to be done at important points, and accommodated me when I asked him to address additional issues beyond the original scope of the work. Given how carefully he explained the nature of the work I also am very confident in the quality of the work. Finding a professional home contractor of this quality in any field is a godsend. read more

Greedy greedy business owner. He'll ask you to sign a contract immediately which essentially protects him by saying he can charge you $300/hr and which he will take full advantage of by charging you for every time he even thinks about the work you need done. Comes across friendly and trustworthy but he's dishonest and charges more than clinical cancer doctors. Note there is no personal information available for him (business owner name, physical address, even parts of the website are fake). He would have many more bad reviews but he bribes people to leave him a good review for a small discount that's still WAY too much and which you are legally bound to paying. Steer clear! read more
