We had intermittent dimming lights in our house. So intermittent that PNM could identify it nor 3 or 4 other local electric companies. Electrical Services came out, made themselves available to catch the flickering and beyond that came back multiple times including 6am in the morning to isolate the source of the problem. Turns out it was on the pole and PNM's problem. They came back to explain how they isolated it and made sure they took care of it. So far above and beyond anyone else we paid to come out. I had an issue with my new air conditioner, which was causing my circuit breaker to shut down. I contacted Electrical Services, but they told me that it may be that I have a short in my breaker. I asked for someone to come out to check things and was told the earliest I could get someone was in 2 weeks! Normally, I would not have been concerned, but with the comment that there could be a short, I wanted someone to come out ASAP. Of course, this was July 3rd, and no one was available. I waited until Saturday the 5th, and found that Electrical Services had an Emergency Service, and reached an answering service. The electrician returned my call, and I was told the fee would be double the regular price, or $300/hour. I felt that was very excessive, but because of the concern for the short, I told the fellow to come over. He checked the breakers, then attached a "larger" wire to the existing wire to the plug in the room, and attached that to a new plug in the outlet box. That was it. He stated that should it trip the breaker again, I should call him! That evening, when we turned on the air conditioner along with the overhead fan, the breaker tripped again. On Monday, I called to let them know that the breaker only worked if I did not use the fan at the same time. I also asked if there could be an issue with the breaker itself, because it was most likely the original, and the house was built in 1989. He said, most likely not, but possible. I asked if he could come out and try that, but I only wanted to be charged for the breaker, not the time, since I already paid them $490! I was told he would check with the owner and get back to me. I never heard back. I am not one to write reviews, but in this case, it seems to me that I could have avoided the double rate had I not been told about a possible short in the breaker! I accepted that comment in good faith. I feel that what I paid this company, and what I received in return, regardless of the emergency fee, we a major overcharging and one that forced me to write this review! Great company!!! I was in pinch to get two aircraft electrical cables outfitted with high capacity connectors. Called a number of electrical companies and they all said they had no openings for a week. Called Scott, the owner, and he said to drive on over. He quickly and carefully installed the connectors while I waited. Took less than thirty minutes and I was on the way to the airport with my cables, which all worked perfectly when I hooked them up to the 240 wall outlet. Scott, the owner of ES, and his associate, Cesar, were fantastic to work with. Our lights started flickering, and we were getting very intermittent service all of a sudden. PNM verified it wasn't a problem coming from the main feed, so it was really a mystery. A different electrician recommended we call Scott, and he came out the next day to investigate. Thanks to his state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, he was able to determine possible trouble spots. He was so knowledgeable about the issues we were dealing with, and he and Cesar walked us through exactly what the fix would entail. They came back for a full day of work and didn't leave until everything was resolved. Bonus, we had a lot of fun talking and learned so much about underground wires -- and what it takes to repair them correctly. Owner Scott Rosenberg is Old-School, in the best meaning of the word. Ex.: I called late one night to leave a VM for his very efficient & helpful admin. person Amanda -- and a Human Answered -- at around Midnight! Scott pays for an answering service to take off-hours emergency calls, which are then routed to a technician on call. I had to wait a couple of weeks to get my non-emergency work scheduled, but I love the idea of having a business relationship with someone truly offering emergency service. Having gone through a fire in my mother's house caused by careless work by some "electrician" she hired from an ad in the back of a magazine -- I'm fanatical about hiring people who are not just licensed but who also inspire confidence. Scott, as well as Alan and Cesar who did my work, not only exuded competence but were also extremely patient and respectful with my many internet-inspired questions. Scott even gave me advice about 2 outside heaters (gas instead of electric) that was spot-on, even though it meant less business for him. They showed up as scheduled and finished the job in the time originally allotted. Amanda is great about intelligent scheduling -- allowing for the right amount of time depending on the complexity of the job. I'm sure they're not the cheapest in town, but I'm fearful of hiring electricians "off the street" or based on who can schedule me the quickest. Electrical Services is terrific. Great customer service for scheduling and great electricians who are, not only really good at what they do, but are friendly and professional. We had a couple of issues with lighting and I called several places before I could find someone who could come out the same week: that place was Electrical Services. Not only did they come out and do the job we needed, the electrician, Allen, suggested a few things we could do to save ourselves money. We really appreciated that. Their tagline is, "WE DO IT ALL. WE'LL EVEN CHANGE A LIGHT BULB". Truth is, we did need some lightbulbs changed! We have a newer home that has recessed lighting in every room with those newfangled LED lights we've never dealt with before. I felt silly, but I really didn't know what to do. They replaced those for us. They also added a new sconce in a dark bathroom and replaced the recessed lighting in our narrow stairwell with pendant lights. The lighting in the stairwell was 15 feet up which is insane. Allen suggested pendant lights. We bought some and Allen came back and got them installed with no problem at all. The stairwell is gorgeous now. It made such a huge difference. And, in the future, when the lightbulbs go out, they're low enough that we'll be able to replace them ourselves. This company is fraudulent and scams the consumer. Do not use! Details: We had this company come out to our house to repair wiring on Friday, July 21, 2023. They did not complete the work, the lights are still a problem. We called them on Saturday to advise them that we were still having problems and their company said they would give us a call back. They never called us back. We called again on Monday morning, and this company stated that not only would they not be able to come out and reasonable amount of time to complete the work they failed to do correctly Friday, but that they also were going to charge us again for a repeat visit if they did come. . We will be engaging another electrical company to come out and resolve the problem since this company likes to charge in excess of $300 for a single visit and not actually complete the work. Finally, phone services representatives were extremely rude and argumentative when we called. Worst experience with a 'service provider' in Santa Fe that I've had in quite some time. read more

Absolutely wonderful. Scott has one of the few devices in the state to locate shorted underground electric wires. We have a 700' length. He found our break quickly, repaired it, and rewired three electrial panels that had been poorly and dangerously wired years ago before we purchased our place. He was willing to make two trips the 3-hour round trip from Santa Fe to finish what turned out to be a big job. He was incredibly good to work with, communicated clearly, persevered through our frustrating situation. We had recently lost power in several outlets throughout the house while caring for my father who was on hospice. After he passed away we finally had a chance to coordinate an electrician near Santa Fe, NM. We contacted Electrical Services and were fortunate to have Scott Rosenberg. Since this was not my house I had no idea where all possible sources of the issue might be. With so many options to sort through to find the source of our power outage Scott was like a detective in searching for the GFCI to trigger. After about an hour of searching under Scott's supervision (divide and conquer) he found the last remaining possible outlet. Think twice! Had electrical services preform some electrical work on my house. The original estimate was $600 and when I got this bill it was almost $1200. Spoke with the guy who gave the original estimate and he said he probably was not clear on this estimate, as he was only stating labor, not parts. Even though he admitted to this being partially his fault for not giving me an accurate estimate the company would not work with me. When I reviewed the invoice I noticed that they charged me $90 for the estimate. There website states estimates are free in Santa Fe. After bringing this to there attention they agreed to take the $90 off. Additionally if you try to pay with a credit card they charge you an additional 4%. read more
