Worst experience ever! These two guys, Thomas and John were very difficult to communicate with. Their invoices were scribbled by hand and impossible to read with all the misspellings and incorrect dates. I'm not sure what was going on with Thomas, but they overcharged for their hours and were asked not to return due to an issue that occurred. I offered to pay them for what they had completed and he threatened me. Very unprofessional! I would not recommend them to anyone! read more

Yes all service calls are at least one hour but I was quoted $185 for one hour and instead was charged $328 ! And I was told that was their charge. Do not use this plumbing company. They overcharge for one hour of work time. read more

I called this business because of the reviews. They made an appointment for me between 2 and 4 for the next day. I called them around 3:45 to see if they were on their way? No response. Texted them, again, no response, called their business lime and left a message, no response. How do businesses like this get good reviews? This is not good customer service this is typical Santa Fe NO SHOW!! I can understand if they are running late or just can't make it that day but they can reach out and let u know and reschedule. Kudo's to Martinez plumbing! They listened attentively to my wife's concerns, then proceeded to repair the shower to her satisfaction in short order. They then tackled our leaking outside faucet, replacing the leaking hose bib, adding an anti-siphon and interior shutoff valve, all on the same day that I had called in the order! I got a new fridge from Lowe's installed the other day and they said my valve didn't match my hose to get water dispensed or ice made (even though they should've had an adapter handy for such situations). So I looked on yelp to find a plumber and Martinez Plumbing popped up, had great reviews and so I decided to give them a call. Xavier answered my call and let me know he could fix it within the same day! He was very efficient, let me know exactly what measurements were needed and even went to Lowe's to grab the adapter for the valve. Thomas and his son Xavier worked together to repite my entire home and replaced my standard hot water heater with a tankless system. I knew the process would be challenging and expensive but the Martinez' knew my situation and took that into account and offered me very fair price for the repairs. More than that they were really great at stepping me through the entire process, telling me exactly what was happening and how their changes would impact my domestic water. The system is in and so far so good. They handled everything so well I've asked hen to install mini splits to override my radiant heat system. Water was pouring out of my kitchen ceiling! On a Sunday afternoon! I found Martinez Plumbing on Yelp and trusted the reviews. They arrived quickly and immediately went to work, removed the ceiling, drained many gallons of water, removed the affected light fixtures, and discovered the mitsubishi whole house HVAC unit had not been serviced properly for very a long time; and the pump had long ago given out, the condensation water had accumulated over several years because the pump was broken. It had caused a lot of damage, and possibly mold. I'd had another plumber servicing the unit for the last few years, but it hadn't worked properly since before covid lockdown. Martinez Plumbing will order and install the new parts and hope to have everything done for the Restoration company to remediate any mold and other damage (drywall, painting, etc) I assume I'll contract with Martinez to service all my HVAC and other plumbing needs. These guys are gems. Hard working, professional, honest, polite, and very considerate. And the best part? They didn't price gouge! Even for a late Sunday emergency! The price was fair. read more
