Working with Silviano and ABC roofing was a huge mistake. Our roof has never stopped leaking and…read moreSilviano is rude on the rare occasion you can get him to return a phone call. It doesn't rain that often in NM so it took several months to realize there were leaks. Silviano spent the remainder of the warranty period avoiding our repeated calls and making excuses so he never had to honor the warranty. I feel we were completely ripped off and scammed.

He said roofs needed to be replaced as they were leaking beyond repair. After new roofs were installed by ABC Roofing, roofs continue to leak. There have been 4 damaging leaks in the first 2 years and I have just noticed a possible new one last week. ABC Roofing is very slow to respond to their warranty and Silviano has threatened to stop providing warranty as he doesn't like my property manager or our tenants. Silviano is rude to my tenants and manager and says we are to blame for the leaks. (Full disclosure, one additional leak was caused by a tenant smoking on their roof and that was not covered by warranty.) However, others are telling us the roof was improperly installed. Thus, it's possible ABC Roofing doesn't know how to properly install or repair their roofs. If I could do it all over again, I would not hire ABC Roofing. I'm 2 years into this and am having a major headache dealing with leaking roofs and am not getting satisfactory warranty service.

I've called at least half a dozen times and they promised they'd remove me, so clearly somebody is not doing their job. I told them as soon as they get their act together, I'll take down this review. So that's what you can look forward to if you contact them! A canned sales pitch that's not tailored to your situation at all, overpriced windows that aren't even top-quality, and three years of junk mail to constantly remind you Champion still exists. Great for the environment, guys! Truly unbelievable.

Looking back, the whole experience was a nightmare. We did not do enough research about sunrooms and just thought a sunroom was a sunroom, when planning the conversion of our 7x12 ft covered patio to a sunroom. Tip, the Champion Seller coming to your home is Not your Friend, he/she is a person trying to get the most money for less of a job as WE LEARNED. Our Champion seller Richard V. was a "Hustler" in our opinion.. A buyer should not just accept the cost amount on the contract, but rather should negotiate. We accepted what was first given to us in the contract, and later learned we probably paid about $3500.00 too much. Richard drew us a Sketch of 3 choices for size of windows, we chose his first sketch. Later finding out with Marcos when measuring, ........the window sketch we chose with Richard was NOT even available. Do Not accept sketches from the seller, DEMAND seeing actual photos of what your contract reads, and photos of what you are buying. After all, this is the digital world we live in. Richard did not totally explain what was in the contract, like transoms, we did not even know what a transom was until measurements were made by Champion's Marcos. Richard V. handed us a blank warranty paper but did not explain it, nor did he give us anywhere our Customer Number to complete the warranty. Later, Champion's worker, Gilbert, who was obviously in training (in our opinion) came to our home after Marcos' measurements were taken. Gilbert said he was there to take more measurements and said if we ever had questions we could call him.. During Gilbert's first visit, he asked ME for a level to measure???! During another visit with Gilbert, he drew a SKETCH of what we were buying.. He and we both signed his Sketch paper showing that the Transoms would be Glass, Marcos was also present at this meeting. Again, Do not just Accept Sketches........ask for an actual photograph of what you are buying. Gilbert called the next day & informed us..... transoms would Not be glass as drawn & SIGNED in HIS sketch, as contract reads Vinyl transoms. It was in the contract drawn up by Richard, after we DOUBLED CHECKED , and the transoms ARE checked as Vinyl....big difference in cost. We called Gilbert back to ask the size of transoms with his yelling to us & said he would call us back & he never did. We had to call Shyia at a Champion main number, and she Finally gave us our Customer Number (4150002894).Shyia had Albuquerque Champion Frank D. telephone us. We explained our Champion headaches with Frank who DID help Frank offered to send a drawing of Sunroom dimensions, we said PLEASE send a Picture/Photo of what we are buying, and he did. Both drawn sketches, one by Richard and the other by Gilbert were WRONG. Drawing a sketch is like the year 1966, this is 2026 giving a picture/photo to possible customers is so easy, sketches are a waste of time and can sure cause problems. For 3rd time, Demand photos and don't rely on Champion SKETCHES. Frank D. was now in control of the job and weeks later it was completed with Marcos doing the installation. Everything we have written in this review is also documented with messages and emails with Champion Window co. We truly believe we Paid a lot of money for a lot of Frustration & lack of sleep.

The quality of work varied from good, to acceptable, to not acceptable, to breathtakingly bad. I had to check the work at the end of every work day because the contractor never got around to checking what his crew did. And the more I found that needed repair, correction or completion, and there was a lot of that, the more surly the contractor got. When the work moved to the deck stairway, it quickly became apparent that his crew had no clue how to finish stair risers and treads, how to use a miter saw, how to make things level and square - it was unbelievable - and the contractor still could not be bothered to check their work and was quite hostile when I did. In their final day onsite, both the contractor and the crew got careless and damaged materials prior to and after installation. He ran out of materials and was not able to finish the job. He packed up and left, saying he'd be back with more materials. I never heard from him again, and that was kind of a blessing. I am still dealing with the aftermath.

The work is a disaster I've had my second bid to come and fix what they've done and it's almost the same amount as they charged me to do the initial project. I have reached out to them and haven't had a response. Are they still in business? Glue everywhere, holes in my stucco wall left, unfinished edges on the roof. So many patches! They had a whole huge role of material. They could've cut it out and installed it. Instead they pieced it together. I've reached out to them and asked for them to make this right. If they respond I will update this review.

No portable restrooms were provided so the workers used our yard as a toilet. These guys clearly never installed metal roofing on a pitched roof before--they scratched the heck out of it during install and then applied touch up paint that has no UV coating so now there are blotches all over the roof. Workers didn't cover anything with tarps when taking old roof off, which destroyed many plants and bushes. They showed up whenever they wanted to, never on schedule, and the project took over 4 times their estimate to complete. Unbelievable.
