The Report told me everything that needed to be immediately done and also included work that would need to be completed, but wasn't a priority. I appreciated this. Bryan introduced me to T, who looked after me for the rest of the visit. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and gave me a great test drive. She sensed right away that I already knew the car inside and out, so she didn't waste time trying to "sell" me on features or push unwanted add-ons. Even the finance department was a breeze--in and out in less than 15 minutes! Extremely disappointing experience from beginning to end. I came in for what should have been a…read moreroutine oil change and left with serious concerns about the service, inspection, and customer service I received. Quecealla Turner's responsibility: She provided me with a specific price and then failed to honor the price she quoted. I was subsequently left waiting approximately six hours, only to be told that my truck had been forgotten. As the employee handling my service, I expected accurate pricing, communication, and basic respect for my time. I received none of those. The technician's responsibility: My Multi-Point Vehicle Inspection stated that my truck was in excellent condition. However, Oscar acknowledged to me that the young technician had provided inaccurate information on the inspection report. After service, I discovered missing hardware causing a clanking noise and an oil pan drenched in oil. I now have to have my truck independently reevaluated to determine what was missed or improperly handled. Oscar's responsibility as Service Manager: Once I brought these concerns to him, I expected him to take ownership, investigate what happened, ensure the truck was properly reevaluated, and provide an appropriate resolution. Instead, after acknowledging that the inspection report was inaccurate, Oscar essentially attributed the situation to my truck being old and having high mileage. That did not address the inaccurate inspection or my concerns about what happened during service. The dealership owner's response: I eventually brought the matter directly to the owner. He reimbursed the $175 oil-change charge, which I appreciate. However, when I asked the dealership to address the oil pan with sensor and radiator hose to make the situation right, I was told that nothing further would be done because of the truck's age and mileage. I was not asking for anything unreasonable. I was asking the dealership to address specific concerns arising from this service experience. Instead, I am now having to spend additional time and money getting my truck independently reevaluated. Age and mileage should not eliminate a service department's responsibility to provide accurate documentation and properly communicate with customers. If an older person had a medical procedure go wrong and was simply told, "You're old," that would not address what happened. The same principle applies when a customer entrusts a vehicle to professionals for service and inspection. My warning to owners of older or higher mileage vehicles: be extremely careful. Get every quote in writing, verify every charge, carefully review the Multi-Point Inspection, ask exactly what was performed, and inspect your vehicle before leaving. Quecealla failed to deliver on the price and communication she provided. The technician's inspection was acknowledged by Oscar as inaccurate. Oscar, as Service Manager, failed to provide the level of investigation and accountability I expected after being notified. And ultimately, the dealership chose not to address the additional concerns I raised beyond reimbursing the $175 oil-change charge. I came in expecting professional service and honest documentation. I left with additional concerns, additional expense, and a complete loss of confidence in this service department.

They efficiently get eligible costs covered by Maxcare if you have a covered Carmax vehicle. It's like health insurance and copays. This shop handles it with no hassle. It's great, especially when you have a European car that needs special parts. When I have time, I bring my car in just so they can routinely check to make sure there is nothing substantial that needs to be repaired. Most times, it's nothing. Yes, they will let you know if it's nothing! But sometimes, I have a big ticket item and am so happy they caught it. Like most shops, they have a tight parking lot, but I can usually find a spot. If not, they are quick to help.

Not only did I get a…read moremaintenance appointment scheduled for the very next day, I also was able to drop off my truck the day before. I ordered 4 new tires that had to be ordered and delivered the following day. But wait there's more, I also had to go Philadelphia for a family members surgery and could not be back until the following week... they said no problem! They kept it on the lot for me. Brent even called me and asked if I wanted to save @$65 on my Bridgestone tires by opting out on the "Bridgestone" lettering not being white. I didn't even know that was a thing!! Then he explained that the best thing to do in addition was an alignment once the new tires were installed. Our Red Dodge Ram 1500 Lone Star is already blacked out so these tires went perfectly. We just ordered the same tires to replace our old ones with the white lettering. Genius and we saved money! Thanks to Brent! And a little secret, I had to have the team get out a space saver hanger out of my bumper!! It's the king that has two hanging hooks on both ends so that when it hangs down, it space saves. Well, I got one caught up in my tail gate after hauling stuff to my storage unit and because of the double hook detail it was stuck. So it wasn't able to pull up it up from the tailgate hinge, so I pushed it down thinking it would fall through! Wrong! Since I automatically panicked knowing it could possibly make a rattling noise if left in the tailgate which would drive us crazy... I was also thinking it could affect wiring or safety issues. Though I asked the team to try and remove it, I asked for them to keep on the DL and I would confess to my husband after the removal. Jesus teased me by pretending he was going to announce the task on the overhead speaker so the entire crew could hear it in the service bay and sales floor. I told him he was funny and that I was going to keep an eye on him from then on. The team did a great job with everything! And the carefully placed the rescued hanger on display on the passenger seat for me to appreciate. It literally was on my service ticket. The surgery also went smoothly! God is good! Now as my family member recovers, so will my truck be able to from the hanger removal. Thanks to the excellence of the Surgeon at University of Penn Medicine, the service team at Fred Frederick, and God's Hand on us this entire week!
