A nice, small Adidas store at the Tysons Corner mall. They have a decent collection, but I was kind of expecting more. I was trying to look for those half tights for running. Overall, I was able to successfully purchase the popular Adidas Evo XL running shoes and they look mesmerizing. One of the store associates, Elvis, was very helpful and informative about the shoes. I called the store before coming in to make sure they had the shoe in my size and Elvis went out of his way to make sure they were the color I wanted and he reserved them for me until I came into the store to buy them. They used to have a decent selection of shoes and clothes, it has gone downhill. They have a small collection of shoes and clothes that you don't really want and some kits. Customer service is almost non existent, I'd try another store or the outlet. read more

I drove 30 minutes to get here, jostled for parking, and walked 10 minutes across the crowded mall dodging people and kids and dogs just to see this sign on the window that they closed early today. This was taken at 7:26 and they were supposed to be open until 9 PM. Not the first time this has happened to me this summer in the area, but it has never happened to me before this year. REALLY great customer service! If you are a soccer fan (especially of European teams) and in need of a jersey/kit, this is the place to go. Jessica spent 20+ minutes on the phone with me the day before I came in to pick up my FC Bayern München jersey, and she made things happen. They were out of children's jerseys, so she hooked it up for me and put a Men's size Small on hold. She also found the numbers and lettering that I wanted. She was very knowledgeable and perhaps more importantly, she was patient! When I came in to pick up my jersey, she did a phenomenal job of ironing- or whatever the machine they use is called- on the letters. The other employees were also helpful, though not as energetic as her, and the customized jersey turned out great. Downside: the new location of the Adidas store is allllll the way on the opposite side of where I usually park (on the new end by the movie theater)- I liked its old location much better- and they are not giving those jerseys away for free, that's for sure! Read: pricey. But being a sports fan is extremely expensive as we already know. In sum, I will be back for more of my FC Bayern München needs! read more

This is exactly why I personally wear Nike shoes and refuse to wear Adidas! I purchased a pair of Stan Smiths for my wife and shortly after having the shoes one of the shoes makes a squeaking sound. The squeak is so loud it's to the point where it's embarrassing to walk in. I explained my situation to the manager of the store, and he was less than empathetic. He also added that it's to the managers discretion as to whether or not an exchange could be made, and he still declined the exchange. This shoe has a latent defect, and I should at least be afforded an opportunity to exchange it for a shoe that hopefully does not. I purchased a lot of sneakers and had an issue with the craftsmanship of a pair of Nike Blazers in the past. Nike was aggressive, and very willing to exchange, the defective shoe I had. Please think twice about purchasing a pair of Adidas, especially a pair of Stan Smiths! read more

Completely rude employees for no reason. I got a coupon in the mail from a recent online Adidas order that said I could get 25% off my next purchase but only for an in-store purchase, and not an online purchase. I called to ask if they had some items in stock that I saw in their online store and the lady that answered was oddly short with me and seemed like she wasn't thrilled to be answering the phones. They should try to hire people with manners if they're going to be picking up phones. After finding out that none of the items I was looking for were stocked at their physical retail location, I asked about their ordering system to find out if it was possible for their store to order items from the online retailer so I could pick them up. The lady gave very brief and unhelpful answers, basically gave me the wrong information about their ordering process, which confused me. Called back a few minutes later to put in an order and then she tells me she can't do transactions on the phones, only in person. Okay, fine, why didn't you tell me that the first time I called though? Again, she was short with me and seemed to lack the customer service touch that most businesses tend to have, especially when helping out a customer on the phone. After she explained their in-store only ordering system for items they don't physically stock, I said thank you and that I would call them later and the lady said nothing back. What a nice gal, huh? I can see why so many people have left negative reviews of this place. Sorry Adidas, your in-store only 25% off coupon is going right in the trash. I'll just order through your website or visit a different retail store and avoid dealing with cranky people that woke up on the wrong side of bed. read more

Just overall bad. I was looking for an ADIDAS shoe...with top of the line Adidas Technology...so why not call...ADIDAS? WRONG! Finish Line in Tysons got my business and they blew the service of THIS place out of the water. I call the store because no other store has this shoe I want...its a 150 dollar Adidas basketball shoe with boost tech and PRIMEKNIT (adidas tech response to Nike flyknit)....but theres a cheaper version with a diff material (not primeknit) for 130... I call and ask the girl who answers if they have this shoe...instead of getting the info and finding out (id hope they just know the info off top of their head but I understand things happen whether or not it was her first day or second week or maybe shes just having an off day) Instead she literally takes my questions, asks someone else without even saying hold on and regurgitates the info. I asked how much the shoe is...she says 150. I clarify to make sure its the PRIMEKNIT version and not the other material...she keeps saying its Mesh. She wont say Primeknit so i keep assuming its the cheaper material/cheaper shoe (which is not what i want) I said...Can I confirm that you're saying PRIMEKNIT? Which is Adidas patent technology...i say...are you sure its not primeknit? If it costs 150 it has to be Primeknit...the other material is 130 on the website...she just repeats what she says...not acknowledging anything im saying. Then I say okay well thank you for your time, bye. She says nothing. She literally just hangs up on me without a word.I thought maybe im being harsh and my questions are too specific...but I Read about Adidas shoes for a DAY and i knew more about their products than this person did....and maybe I could still give 3-4 stars aside from knowing all the tech...but to hang up the phone on me without even saying thank you or bye? Craziest (as in worst) customer service in a top-tier store. We bought a pair of shoes and wore them out. We were warned that if we didn't take the box, we wouldn't be able to return the shoes. Clear enough. We walked in the mall (this is all indoors) for about five minutes and my son decides the shoes are too small. We are told we cannot return them because they show wear. Every full-price shoe store I've been to allows you to return shoes even if you've worn them. Why would a top brand like Adidas treat its customers like this? This reminded me of living in Russia where unfriendky customer service is the norm. My kids love Adidas but I will never go to this store again. The brand is not being served by these policies. On our way home, my son looked up the policy which states that items do not have to be in new condition to be returned. I couldn't bear to turn around and argue with them any more. So now I have $160 shoes I cannot use. I'm going to see if adidas.com will help. I've spent a ton of $ on adidas but will think twice about doing it again. read more

Not only I had the worst experience here, but also their customer service and website support were so horrible that they don't allow to submit bad reviews. Here is what I tried to submit at adidas.com : Poorest Customer Service First, This is not a review about the shoes, not until I get ones at least. It has been like I'm begging these guys to buy one. I went to Adidas local shop but couldn't find my size. So, the guy told me to order it online using their computer in the shop and I told him that I tried it at home, but the billing address of my credit card is in another country that is not listed on the online shop. He said just provide the shipping address as a billing address and he assured me that it would work. I entered the information and the guy chose the free ground shipping even though there was a free 2nd day shipping offer. I went home and found out that my order was eligible for 2nd day shipping so I contacted customer service by email. Next morning I received an email saying that the order has been canceled because there were some incorrect information in my credit card, thanks for Adidas's representative. I said to my self no problem, I will order again, but with my US debit card. Unfortunately, the 2nd day shipping offer is not there anymore. I emailed customer service again hoping to get the first order fixed. At night, I received an email from customer service saying, sorry, your order has been processed and the 2nd day shipping is no longer available. OK, not only they did not know that my order has been cancelled, but also, they calim they couldn't provide me with 2nd day shipping, which I was eligible for. One of the reasons I WAS TRYING to buy these shoes is that I can return it within 30 days if I don't like it. On Saturday October 1st I came to the store looking for cross training shoes. The salesman lied to me for no reason. He took me to the shoe area brought out the most expensive shoes he had, $130 and said these were the best cross training shoes. And the only cross training shoes they had. After I put the shoes on, I looked at the box the shoes came in. The box clearly said running shoes. The salesman said, the label doesn't mean anything. He lied for no reason. Wow - it's a sad attempt at bringing back the 80s and early 90s. What makes it even funnier is that there are nothing but scallywags going in and out to buy stuff. The retail stores have changed their return policy just a warning. I have always bought through Adidas, either online or in-store, but now it will only be online. I tried to return shoes without looking at the receipt because their return policy was always a winner. If i could give zero stars I would. Terrible store manager with zero professionalism. I bought a adidas superstar 7 days ago and was told to go half size up by the sales person. I tried the shoe only in store and at home to have a sense of how it feels. I decided that the size is too big for me and tried to return with my RECEIPT after 7 days of purchase. The store manager rejected the return and told me to call customer service. His explanation was that the shoe was worn. I repeated that I only wore the shoe at the store and in my apt to have a sense of whether I am comfortable with the size. No other store will reject a return with a receipt within 7 days of purchase. Shame on you Adidas. Avoid this branch at any cost! read more

Don't see where all this negativity is coming from, but the store and the sales associates were amazing. Came in for Ultraboosts and the associate quickly went to grab it and and brought it out for me before I sat down. I love the comfort and the associate was even telling me how it also serves as a fashion/casual shoe and I agree. The rest of the employees were also friendly and attentive. They have apparel for both men and women since there was a lot of women buying clothes for themselves. DEFINITELY WILL COME BACK!! read more

Normally I don't like going into stores with so many associates because they always tend to be talking to each other and totally disregarding your existence. However I went last Saturday to the adidas at Tysons corner and was astounded by each individual that was working there. Unlike other sport stores within the mall, the culture at the adidas store was different a joyful touch to be exact. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and even asked how my day was going which is nice when shopping. I was looking for a pair of shoes for my son and the associate in the shoe section came up to me and asked how my day was going and what I was looking for today. He had a name tag but that name was far too long to remember. He asked what my son was into and how he likes to dress and etc basically connecting with me and that is rare to find in retail stores today especially when shopping for shoes. I picked out 3 or 4 shoes including the tubular radials and the young man brought all the sizes I need and he did not once show any discomfort in helping me. Once he brought the shoes, he politely made sure I knew he was keen on listen and waited while I sent pictures to my son and talked to him on the phone. While I was doing what I needed to he would help other customers and always come check right back to see how I was doing. If it wasn't him, there were other associates coming from the stock room who would ask if i needed anything. After finally deciding the shoe, the young man walked me to the cashier and made sure to stick around and embark another conversation about the shoes I had chose for my son which were the pure boost. The cashier was a young Latin American woman who had a bright smile and gave me more joy as I was paying for the shoes. The overall experience was one that I shall never forget as it was remarkable to be given such amazing treatment from young kids at a retail store.
