Great coffee shop right around all the new brusinesses on Apache Blvd. The shop is decorated beautifully and the server can answer all of your questions. I got the Sicilian Pistachio with oat milk- what an unbelievable drink! My friend tried the Organic Date. Both were amazing. It's tucked away in Tempe but it brings all the Yemen and Turkey coffee you could want! Turkish coffee and Yemeni coffee are staples for us so we had to try this based on a recommendation from a friend and it was outstanding! Amazing lattes, coffees, teas, refreshers and so much more. They also have delicious desserts and foods! The customer service was outstanding and everyone was kind and helpful. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Me and my wife love this place. The staff is always nice. Drinks are great and they match the authentic middle eastern taste. I like their music choice as well. Beautiful little coffee shop tucked away next to the light rail. We stopped in after our dance class on a Sunday morning. I ordered a mango mojito and it was delicious. Little sweet but that's mostly because I don't drink regular soda and it is made with Sprite. It was super refreshing which was welcomed in this heat and after working out. Also ordered at the table was the dragon fruit refresher, an iced latte and a slice of their Italian Tuxedo which was so rich, creamy and delicious. I do wish they had a few more simple food options. The only choice, that was not sweet, was a Samosa. Overall super chill vibe, very nice guy behind the counter and lots of different drink options you will not find other places. read more

Aden is one of my favorite places to meet up with friends and family in Tempe! This Yemeni coffee house offers delicious and shareable drinks, cozy seating, and a variety of desserts. Plus, it fulfills the need for a great late night cafe (with plenty of outlets for anyone coming to work or study). The Yemeni Qahwah is my go-to -- sweetened and with cream, it's the best cardamom "latte" I've had in the area. I love getting it served in a kettle for two. When I'm not looking for coffee, the Adeni Shai is delightful with a bit of honey. The creaminess of their drinks never overpower the strength of the coffee, tea, or spices. The big surprise for me is how amazing the Mango Royale is! You can taste the real, quality mango blended in, and it uses the natural sweetness of dates to bring the drink together. Never expected to come for smoothies, but I'll be back for it next time the craving hits! This space truly has upleveled in many subtle ways since its recent rebrand. Parking can still be tricky on busy nights, but there's never a problem during the day. There are a few spots out back and street parking available along the road. read more

I loveeee this Yemeni coffee shop and it is my new favorite study spot. I came around opening time on a Thursday and it was very peaceful. Parking wasn't an issue at all. I love the aromatic smells inside. I redeemed my free drink today and got the strawberry matcha!! It wasn't on their menu, but I asked if they could make it and she said of course. Service was very fast and efficient. The barista brought my drink over to my table and it looked so pretty and tasted soo good!! I was able to study productively for 7 hours because the booth seats were so comfortable and there was an outlet. The music was also not blasting which I appreciate. I had the most amazing experience at this coffee shop! Not only was the tea I got absolutely amazing, but the owner brought us a sample of their Yemeni coffee and it was absolutely delightful. I also had the opportunity to chat with the owner about the history, culture and intention behind the decor and why him and his family started this place in the first place, and it truly almost brought me to tears. It felt like walking into a home where I was welcomed and experienced deep hospitality. Everything was absolutely beautiful inside! I am so thankful for the genuine kindness I experienced and for truly, the most incredible coffee and tea I've ever had. I will be coming back as often as I am able now. Husband and I were looking for a coffee place with a cool atmosphere Saturday evening around 9:30. Really cool atmosphere. Exotic coffees. I felt like I was in a different country!! a lot of really great options on the menu. There was one girl working in the place was almost completely full. She didn't greet us or say hi or I'll be right with you. 10 minutes later, she took our order. A party of 11 walked in five minutes after us. It was a very large family. She ends up serving the family all of their drinks and food before making our two lattes. And my husband opens his coffee and it's only filled 3/4 of the way and at that point we were like okay wtf is going on. We ignored the lack of customer service.. almost ignored the fact that she made drinks and food for 11 people before us. But then the drink being a little over half full was the last straw. We asked the girl why she served the large party before us and she said they weee asking how long the wait was. I'm not sure what that means. Then we asked about the drink and she said it's normally put in a certain cup which she showed us. not sure why she didn't just put it in that cup.. instead we got to-go cups but we never said we wanted them to go.. we wanted to enjoy the place. I should've ignored the red flags but I didn't. Gave us a sour end to our night. We were the only white people in there so maybe that's why?? We couldn't come up who to any other reason.. I thought the diversity in there was great but I don't think it was reciprocated. I even tipped the girl extra cuz I felt bad for her and she just skips us... to feed 11 people!! Ugh so irritated. If you're looking for somewhere cozy to relax and study, Aden is definitely for you. It's super close to campus and is right next to the metro. This is my second time here, and like always, the owner was super friendly and gave great suggestions alongside a generous rewards program. The hospitality is great! Onto what I ordered-- a Yemeni Mint Shai. Absolutely delicious. The taste was smooth, velvety, and a sweet aftertaste with a dash of mint. Super relaxing. I will be going here more often- I studied there undisturbed for around two hours. Two considerations: there is no outdoor seating, if that's your thing, and the wifi didn't work for me. Such a special spot! There is so much thought put into this coffee shop. The decor is truly so beautiful and I've yet to enter a coffee shop that feels as immersive; with the music, and attention to detail, it feels like an authentic Yemeni coffee shop. I love coming here to get work done, or catch up. It feels like a cozy and community oriented place, the owner is extremely kind and knowledgeable, and the flavors and quality of the drinks and desserts reflect that! Went in to study at night with a friend, I got the Arabian Nights tea and she got a iced coffee with some sort of date flavor. Both were so good!! After an hour of being there, the guy working brought over some hot adeni shai for us to try and that was incredible; and, he explained how they get their shai straight from Yemen and what the process is for making it. I ended up ordering a cup of that and it was so amazing. Definitely will be back since it was such a great place to study and drink some good tea and coffee. read more
