    Hot Chocolate

Sweet little café with chocolates that always hit the spot. I like their hot chocolate drink and Adam's mocha. You must be warned though - it's dark! But this is why we love it. I don't know any other place nearby that serves organic, bean to bar, and locally made dark chocolate bar and drinks.

It's not open, we had tried to go recently and it looks abandoned. Super disappointed

I love this place, I'm not a big chocolate fan, but the coffee and vibes keep me coming back.

From…read morechocolate creations to tea cups and cutlery to cute house decor, you can find thoughtful and unique gifts for everyone on your list. Tried two dark hot chocolates. The regular dark hot chocolate was simple and sweet. The pistachio dark hot chocolate had whipped cream and crushed pistachios on top. Besides that, there was no other pistachio flavor, which was disappointing and defeated the purpose of getting a seasonal specialty drink such as pistachio hot chocolate. The hot chocolates were more on the liquidy side, and I would've preferred for them to be thicker and to have a more pronounced flavor of chocolate. A bit too sweet for my liking, especially considering that we got dark chocolate. You'll be satisfied and done after a few sips due to how sugary this drink is. Staff are very friendly and helpful. No restroom.

I shopped there for a High Tea Party I am hosting (I want each of my guests to leave with a sweet treat). While I was there, I overheard another customer say "Every time I come in I am surprised with a new chocolate. It is so much fun to come and explore!" Another customer came in to get a cup of coffee and a chocolate as a treat to herself. As I was paying, I decided to treat myself to a chocolate that never made it home!

They had some interesting looking thick quiches, things like croissants, cakes, tarts and macarons (the girl behind the counter corrected my friend by saying "macaroon" which is technically incorrect). I'm a sucker for a good bread pudding but i should have reconsidered since that was the thing they seemed to have plenty of. They didn't heat that or the pear Tartlett up; eating them both cold was unsatisfactory (I know we should have said something but then a line was forming) and I felt sick after eating the bread pudding (perhaps too rich and just too cold and sad). I didn't feel very comfortable in the space, as I was expecting something more quaint and charming vs. old and in need of a makeover and cleaning. This was one experience so I would give it another shot, maybe earlier in the day. Metered street parking or there's a municipal lot around the corner.

I stopped in after work and was greeted by the friendly staff at the counter, who helped me choose and answered my questions about their different fillings. All the treats are displayed in a glass case, and let me tell you, they taste just as amazing as they look. I went with the strawberry cheesecake, dulce de leche, and Samoa cookie cupcakes. I also got a massive slice of their Italian Rainbow Crumb slice(it felt like half a pound!)--so moist, soft, and packed with flavor. Not to mention, I grabbed a 1/2 lbs chocolate chip cookie and three doggie treats (my pup Abbie gives them 5/5 paws!). They even offer a 4% discount for cash payments, which was a nice perk. As you can see from the pictures, everything looks incredible, but one bite proved it's not just about appearance. The flavors are bold, the icing complements the cake perfectly, and the cupcake cream is luxuriously rich. If you're looking for delicious, fun cakes that won't disappoint, I highly recommend Caked Up Cafe 5/5 stars!

While the lobster was slightly overcooked, everything else was scrumptious- honestly "mm good" and "magically delicious." Even the bread stood out, served with a fantastic dipping sauce.
