I am so happy to have received Andy's info at AD Signs. He was a referral from a good friend of mine and I am so glad I got it. I have two offices, and have been looking for a company to help me with doing my business signs. For one of my offices, a vinyl sign was needed. I already had a design so it was very easy to forward off to Andy to print. Well, there was a little boo boo on my side with the coloring but he helps me fix it real quick and easy. If you want your product to come out great, dont come here. I recently got a vinyl door sign and aluminum wall sign done here. Paid the deposit and they said it would take about 6 days to get it done; told me pickup on Saturday. I told them its not a rush order in hopes that they would put more effort and attention into detail. Big mistake. I told them I could pick it up on Monday instead of Saturday and they said ok. I called on Monday they said it was not ready, come in on Wednesday instead. Called Wednesday and again they tried to push the day to Thursday for pickup until I started voicing my frustrations, then they said I can pickup end of day on Wednesday. Seems like if you tell them its not a rush order, they would just put your job order to the lowest priority and carry on with other bigger jobs. So, I went in to pickup my order and first thing I noticed was the door sign was not printed exactly as my .psd specifications. Told them that this is not what the picture file shows. The fonts were supposed to aligned in a straight line. Seriously, how can you print out a sign and assume that it is ok if the fonts are NOT aligned in a straight row? It just shows how responsible and dedicated this particular guy(prefer not to mention his name) is with his job. Then, they tried to blame the issue on the file that I provided. I told them to open the attachment of the email I sent to confirm if that the problem was indeed from my file. Truth be told, my original .psd file was showing the fonts were aligning in a straight line. Then their excuse was that when they converted it into a different file format that they use, the fonts will not come out aligned. SERIOUSLY, how am I supposed to know that?? Why would I pay top dollar to get the sign done by you if I'm doing all the work?? So I just said ok, what do you need, I will email it to you. First they said they want the .pdf copy of the file, but later changed their mind and asked for the .eps file instead. WHY didnt he asked for those files when we first initiated the order was beyond me. So, I provided them the file the next day. The guy seems to be agitated after our last meet and very impatient with me on the phone. I asked him what time to pickup the revised sign, he said next morning at 10am. So the next morning just to be sure, I called him and again, he lagged and told me to pick it up at 12pm. I felt like I shouldnt have said the order was a "no rush" as they literally take it as your order is the lowest priority. Anyway, the aluminum wall sign has very rough edges and lines that looked like they rushed the job; exactly the opposite of what was shown of the samples displayed in front of their store. The revised vinyl signs turned out ok. Overall, I dont recommend using this place for 3D individual letter signs but the simple vinyl signs will be fine as those dont require labor. read more
