My family and I have been seeing Dr. Chao and his team for many years at both the Irvine and Fullerton locations - they are simply outstanding. In the past, we've done cataract surgery (for my dad), routine checkups, and most recently for myself, PRK surgery. In every instance, we've been absolutely impressed with Dr. Chao's team of professional, knowledgeable, and kind staff members. In 9/2020, I went to get a consultation about Lasik vs. PRK surgery with Dr. Chao. He patiently walked me through the relative advantages of each procedure and which was the right one for me. My PRK procedure (10/2020) was incredibly smooth; some of my friends had less than ideal experiences with other practitioners, but I'm happy to report my procedure and recovery process went perfectly. Dr. Chao and his team did an amazing job of caring for me, carefully explaining what I should expect, and always making me feel like I was being treated with the highest level of expertise. I just came in for my three-month follow-up and could not be happier I decided to work with Dr. Chao. It's rare to find such a wonderful team of medical professionals. I genuinely enjoy coming in to see Dr. Chao! My advice is to listen to the onslaught of five-star reviews (especially those from people who actually work in healthcare) and book an appointment with Dr. Chao's office. Don't go anywhere else - this is the type of care we should get from every single doctor.

I have not had to wait more than 10 minutes between stations except when waiting for my eyes to dilate. Dr. Mosier had reviewed my records before we met. He asked if I had any concerns about my eyes and shared his examination findings. I never felt rushed and appreciated his sincere concerns about my eyes. This year my wife will also become a patient after seeing how pleased I am with the Mosier Eye Center organization and management.

But I cannot see to drive being outside watching TV. My eyes are sticky. I put eye drops in them every five minutes and it doesn't change anything. And I've been only told by Dr. Kim that the lens company wouldn't do anything about it because my vision seems fine when I come in and have it checked in the Office. Or it will cost me more money. The truth is, I was not in glasses at all before my surgery the great thing is yes I can see whites very bright now but I can't see everything is a blur inside. Two Expensive Pairs of Glasses Ruined - Extremely Disappointing Customer Service…read more I purchased two pairs of expensive Tiffany & Co. prescription glasses from Winston Eye Care on Harbor Boulevard in Fullerton. Unfortunately, both pairs developed serious problems with the anti-glare coating on the lenses. At first, I thought the lenses on my first pair were badly scratched. When the same problem developed with my second pair, I took them to my optometrist, who confirmed that the anti-glare coating was deteriorating. Both pairs are now so difficult to see through that they are practically unusable. Considering how much I spent on these glasses, this is completely unacceptable. When I returned to Winston Eye Care, they refused to do anything because the one-year warranties had expired. I was told that this type of coating failure rarely happens, and they suggested my eyeglass cleaner might be responsible. I use ZEISS lens cleaner, a reputable product specifically designed for eyeglasses. I find it difficult to believe that normal cleaning caused the same coating failure on two separate pairs. What disappoints me most is that Winston Eye Care offered absolutely no assistance. No replacement lenses, no discount, and no attempt to help resolve the problem. I understand that warranties have expiration dates, but when a customer purchases two expensive pairs of designer glasses and both experience the same coating failure, I would expect a reputable optical business to show some concern and make an effort to help. Expensive prescription glasses should last longer than their one-year warranty. I am now left with two costly pairs of glasses that I can barely see through and no resolution from the business that sold them to me. I've been going to Dr. B since I was a kid, when I started to develop some vision problems, and he and Dr. Yang have really done a great job at managing my medical problems. His staff is also really friendly and they go out of the way to accommodate your schedule and your needs. They also always check-up on you after appointments to see how your vision is. I think the other thing I really like about Dr. B is he has a great referral network of highly specialized eye doctors who can surgically treat things that he can't treat. I only have one set up eyes so if I have a issue that Dr B is not confident in I know he's doesn't have an ego problem that would prevent him to refer a challenging case to another doctor with more specialization. I will say the wait in his office used to be pretty long, but I noticed he got rid of another doctor about two years ago and wait times have never been bad since, my theory is that the other doctor might have slowed down the grove at the practice but now that it's just Dr. B and Dr. Yang it's really smooth.
