After seeing other opthalmologists, Dr. Joshua Morrison's professionalism, evaluation and assessment of my condition convinced me to follow him to the Escondido West Coast Eyecare office from Murrieta's Retina Eye Institute for continued observation/treatment. My first visit to this office was on September 6th, where I was pleased to experience a minimal wait, and continued excellent treatment. There was some insurance confusion, but Ana was dilligent to follow-up and resolve the matter. My next visit to this office was on November 15th, where the wait time was again quite minimal, the front office staff was pleasant and helpful, as well as the back office staff. I went to west coast eye care at first to get my exam and get my glasses at Costco. But the doctor asked me to talk to the eyeglass person there Greg first...i am so glad i did. He told me all about the benefits of getting my glasses there that the quality in the lens and coatings was so much better than what is offered at Costco. I did want to save some money but Greg asked me a very poignant question...what was more important my eyesight or saving a few dollars? It really hit me...my brother nearly lost his vision 10 years ago in an accident and he would tell me no amount of money could replace his eyes. I left my last two eye doctors because of bad customer service, so naturally I didn't have high hopes for this place either but while waiting on my exam I witness Reggie one of the opticians handle a upset man very well, to the point the guy walked out laughing with him! witnessing this type of customer service made me feel like I was in the right place. Dr. McIntosh answered all of my questions without me feeling rushed and once I sat down with Reggie the optician he educated me one the different lens options out there that would maximize my vision, and boy was he right! I picked up my glasses a few days ago and my vision through these lenses is supreme! I have already had many compliments on my glasses and recommend Wet coast eyecare to everyone. read more

Even though is in a central location the quality of service is very poor ,in the couple if times I seen the lock of customer service from the receptionist to the optometrist Sarah as is the first impresión you get when you come in instead of a welcoming there very abrupt and rude as if your inconvenience them is understandable to wait for your turn if someone is ahead of you to ask any questions or check in ,as a profesional I found Sarah the optometrist to be very Unprofesional Unethical and rude to clients, I would not recommend this location as there is so many with better customer service and ethics .... read more

West Coast Eye Care offers fantastic client services. Recently, I went in for new set of frames and lenses. This occasion was urgency because it was the last day of my Flexible plan benefit, which had a good chuck of funds remaining. EEEK!! Since I had a prescription on file, I arranged an appointment with a new optician to pick my new fabulous frames. Good for me! WCE always has a great selection of designer frames at a responsible price. Reggie & Greg assisted me during a lunch hour WOW, the experience was impressive. Kudos to Reggie!! My experience with West Coast Eyecare was exactly what I wanted... Friendly service, no wait time. The office people were efficient and helpful. doctor was very nice and explanatory. Then there is Reggie.. He is kinda hot-kinda sexy-kinda funny, but not funny looking....He helped me find the perfect glasses for me. I have been here many times and all of their staff are always very kind and helpful. No long waiting they are quick but thorough. My last visit was with Dr.Binder and I explained to him my double vision problem that no one else in the past seemed to have a solution too. And within mere seconds he resolved the problem by placing a prism in front of my right eye. Voila' I am extremely grateful and it is life changing for me to see things normally and not double. I have known Dr. Mc Kintyre for over 11 years. She is so thorough with her examines and always make me feel very comfortable. She is a very friendly person that always make your examine a pleasant outing. Reggie was the Optician that me with my new glasses. I had my eye exam at West Coast eyecare a few weeks ago and had a wonderful experience!!! The new doctor, Dr. Ramolia, was very friendly and made me feel at ease during the whole exam. She was very knowledgeable and answered all of the questions and concerns that I had. The optical guy, Sal, was also very helpful in choosing the glasses that I needed. My visit today with Dr Sujata Prabhu was very thorough and gentle . I was nicely greeted by the front as I arrived and the gentleman who did my assessments was down to earth and friendly as well. Dr Prabhu explained all the possible causes of my eye conditions and gave me a lot of good things to try . After being patient for over 7 years I finally decided to stop spending my money at this poorly run business. so disappointed with their services. There are other eye doctors out here in Escondido with very reasonable prices. My son waited a month for his glasses and when we called they were not even ordered in the first place.
