Once you enter in the bar, go to the right, they'll give you a stamp on your hand, and then you can head downstairs. There are many lounge areas, and small tables & chairs to sit and drink at. There are also pool tables to use for free! There's also a DJ that plays GOOD r&b, hip hop, pop, and even some throwbacks too! The DJ that night took song requests and even gave a shoutout to the birthday girl in our group too. The cocktails were good, and I'm sad I didn't take pictures of it (had too much fun). The waitress will come to your table and you can order there OR you can also order at the bar. When I ordered at the bar, the waitress was so nice and helped me bring the drinks over to our table. I also had a taste of the fries, and the cups and guac and it was tasty too! There's some parking right infront or a parking lot behind the bar. I will definitely come back!

They were about 10-15 other guests but the places so big and spacious that it almost felt like we had a place to ourselves. There's a spot for a DJ/music and I can only imagine that they have some great shows here. The bartender was attentive, and while they weren't very personable you could tell that they knew several of the regulars. I didn't drink anything fancy, bourbon neat, but it was a fair pour. You order food separately. We are fish tacos, wings & nachos. The fish was fried and coleslaw had a touch of mayonnaise but not too much. This was my favorite dish. The wings of the nachos or what you expect, definitely flavorful and cooked well. We liked the crowd and will definitely be back to listen to some music and check out the lounge downstairs.

The play structure was boarded up for a while, there are a lot of homeless people here and it's just old and outdated. We have been to the new pickleball courts lately and if we're lucky, there are open spots, but sometimes people bring their whole crew there and are there for hours. Also, beware of dog poop -- a lot of irresponsible dog owners don't pick up after their dogs so watch where you are walking. This park has potential, it's just people don't respect it enough. There are a lot of options such as: soccer, basketball, picnic areas, tennis, pickleball, a play structure, walking path, etc, but it is not the cleanest park.

Dogs ok on a leash. I think different activities and classes are offered here although I never went to those. The park is open and has some street frontage which I like. More hidden parks that go deep with no public visibility I tend to enjoy less. Long ago there were some homeless that lived under the overhang of the library next door. They put up a very tall metal fence to keep them out. Again, its a great park but there are some problems with it. A good place to go if you live nearby. Although it has lots of offerings I don't think they would get somebody to drive miles to get to them.

Fairview Metropolitan - Sad Photo Booth with no backdrop due to not being allowed into the tent to set it up. Management admitted it was an oversight.

My husband and I regret having our wedding here. I waited months to write this review in hopes that…read moremy anger would subside but I just get more upset the more I think about how poorly this team handled our wedding. I will preface by saying we were refunded a small portion of what we paid due to the numerous errors made by Fairview Metropolitan. We had around 5 meetings here for wedding planning. Each time, the venue tent was so eloquently set up for the weddings or quinces hours in advance. I had so much confidence that our wedding would be treated the same, but it was sloppily thrown together in less than an hour. This venue had another event before our 5pm wedding. I had never seen two events on any of the days that we went in, and was not told that this would happen on our wedding day. It wouldn't have been a problem, I understand they are a business and prioritize profit, however the event before us was still occupying the tent when I got there at 4pm. The manager Shelley told me that they "could not get them to leave". My husband and guests state that the previous event finally vacated the tent around 4:05pm, leaving the team with 55 minutes to sloppily throw together our ceremony and banquet. Shelley informed me that there were three sick calls that day, leaving the management to do the set up. They completely misnumbered the tables, leaving all of our immediate family sitting in the back row. It was THEIR seating chart. With everything going on, we didn't notice until dinner had started. This error is absolutely inexcusable from a wedding venue. Since they only had less than an hour to set up our for our event, my husband and groomsmen offered to help tie the ~135 chair ties and had to stand on a ladder to help place the drapes on the ceremony awning. I don't see how the staff could have completed this without my party's help. Our guests had to wait in the cafe because nothing, including the ceremony chairs, was set up for our wedding until after 4pm. The cafe has limited seating and we had 134 guests. I had so much trust that this team would treat my wedding how I've seen them treat other weddings and quinces. If I had known this was all going on, I would have gone to facilitate and double check their inadequate work. Other major issues: 1. The food service started late and ran out and ended early. We were told there would be enough food for seconds for everyone, so we decided not to bring a lechon and lumpia. Huge mistake. Being from Asian and Hispanic backgrounds, we were completely embarrassed that the food ran out. There was not even enough bread for seconds. We even had 5 no shows so there's no excuse. 2. There were not enough appetizers. Many of our guests did not get any. 3. Our guests were told that the bar could not provide shots. That was not in our contract and alternatives were not offered. 4. The top layer of our cake was saved when it should have been served. This was in our plan, and it just went to waste rather than enjoyed by our guests. 5. They were understaffed by 3, however no one stayed over to accommodate for that. The management left before 8. Because the seating chart got completely misnumbered, there were tables without settings. Our friends had to SHARE FORKS because they could not find any staff. 6. There was no staff to guide our photographers to the banquet room as stated in the event order paperwork. They had to sit on the floor in the corner. So embarrassing 7. The manager didn't allow my husband to set up our DIY Photo Booth, breaking the contract because we should have been able to start setting up at 4. They even told us the day before that we could go at 3:30. This left us without our photo out even set up. My husband had to set it up during the wedding and we didn't have our backdrop. The good things about the venue: 1. Dog friendly 2. Trish was a great coordinator, I wish she could have managed the set up for our wedding instead of Shelley and Angela. My family said that they wouldn't even let her in to set up either and said she looked like the only person who actually care about our wedding. 3. The cake, dj, and flowers were great While the management's response was apologetic, there were so many excuses including "they're human and make mistakes". I understand this, but the numerous significant errors made on our wedding day felt almost intentional. I think the fraction of a refund was just to get me to stop complaining and not escalate the matter. Considering we paid for the elite package for 126 adults and 8 kids in July (most expensive package with highest facility fees), I thought we would've been treated at least as well as the other events that we saw. Fairview Metropolitan fell so short of how I've personally seen them perform and caused us so much embarrassment and shame on from our wedding day. I could never recommend it to anyone. I would say so much more if there wasn't a character limit. Huge thumbs down.

Everything on the menu sounded so good and had to go with the shrimp ceviche and carne asada plate. While I waited for my order, I had fresh salsa and fresh chips. The rice and beans had the right amount of flavor and the jalapeño had the right kick. The server was really friendly and gave great recommendations on drinks. The restaurant had good lighting, noise level wasn't too loud, and the vibe was pretty chill. Plenty of parking and easy to get to. We arrived around 4:30 on a Sunday and were seated in the bar area. After waiting 10-15 minutes with no water, chips, or salsa, we still had no idea who was supposed to be serving us. The bartenders never acknowledged us, and nobody stopped by to even say, "We'll be right with you" or thank us for our patience. Eventually, someone came over and asked if we were ready to order. Our food arrived almost right away, but my fiancé realized his added carne asada was missing. The waiter didn't bring it out until he was nearly finished with his meal. I ordered the combination fajitas, and they were just okay. The entire time, there was a woman walking around in a blazer who appeared to be a manager, but she seemed more focused on training the bartender than checking on guests. Had she been paying attention, she would have clearly seen how frustrated we were. When our server finally brought the check, we noticed we had been charged twice for the chilaquiles, plus separately for the carne asada that didn't even arrive with the meal. After another 5 minutes, I flagged down who I believe was the manager to fix the bill. She corrected it and brought it back, but then we were left waiting another 5-10 minutes for our server to actually process the payment. The waiter never even thanked us before we left. Overall, the experience was incredibly disappointing, especially considering how much we enjoyed this place in the past. Neither of us plans to return.

This is actually the second time we've rented the hall, and they continue to exceed our expectations. The venue is beautiful, spacious, and very clean--perfect for hosting a lively group of kids and adults. He truly makes the planning process smooth and stress-free. We're so happy we chose Sapphire Banquet Hall again for such a special milestone. From the…read morebeginning of our party the breakers went out on us 2 times and when we asked the office staff to help fix the issue, they responded with an attitude and did not bother to come into the hall to to check or fix it themselves. Apparently there is a designated colored electrical plug for the higher voltage. The person in the office claimed they told the main party host, but no instructions were given on the electrical outlets for specific purposes. The other main issue started when the food was served. One guest found a piece of metal in their meat, while another found a coachroach in the fruit. When we consulted with the office staff on this again the response was simply that they had no idea how that got there because they did not have coachroaches. No accountability, no apologies just a blunt "I don't know." This is disturbing because the food is provided by the banquet hall. The last unprofessional act was from the bartender. We had an older lady bartendeing and she was rude to guests who were simply interested in a drink. She tried gatekeeping the bar drinks even though they were provided by us and not the venue. She denied our guests non-alcoholic beverages when we specifically bought them for our guests. At the end of her shift she decided to walk out with a half case of our beer and 2 soda bottles. This is highly unprofessional and stealing from the party. When it was brought up to the staff in the main office, they denied her taking anything and when I brought up that they check the cameras they have recoding, that's when one of the two men in there decided to call their employee to return the stolen items. The bartender did return the soda bottles but denied taking the beer. For a better experience with your parties try a different venue. These folks are unprofessional, not up to health codes, and will gaslight you. The soda they provide is flat and the price is not worth the experience. The food was a 2/10 and the staff a 1/10. Only one employee provided us a good experience the day before the event and with cutting our cake for guests. Aside from that, terrible service.
