Jeremy is the man!!!!! He has been working with me for years at different communities and we get nothing but results. He is beyond professional even when residents may give him a hard time. The technicians that come out to your house are very sweet, that is about all you can say that is good about this company. When I signed the contract with Action. I was told if I had a problem, to just call and they would send someone out. I called the company and asked if they could send someone out, as I had a problem in my yard. (Action is 2.6 miles from my home) She asked me to send her pictures. I emailed her pictures. Her response was it was a lawn problem and I needed to contact a yard maintenance company. Well I found out it was grub worms. Action is supposed to take care of 20 feet from the house. Grub worms are scarab beetle larvae. To my knowledge beetles are bugs. The infestation is right outside both my front and back doors. I returned a email to her asking if they had anything to handle grub worms. I got no response. I don't know exactly how much contract is left with this company but they can have it! read more

I had a great experience with Chris, who came out to my house this morning. He was very professional, wore booties in the house and was EXTREMELY thorough! He was very detailed, moving blinds open and closed, and also discussed in detail, the causes and options of certain issues. He also took the time to set up a mouse trap and "bury" it with existing pieces of wood so my dog would be less likely to get into it. He went well above and beyond! Action Pest Exterminator is awesome. Just moved into an apartment complex on their circuit and every time I've made a pedt control request they have come by within the next 1-2 days. The exterminator who has come by each time is named Ching and I really appreciate how knowledgable and friendly he is. Not only do the products which they use work well (have not had any recurring problems after each visit), but Ching has taken the time to answer any questions I might have about the products, such as safety, efficacy, and how they use specific methods to determine which is the best product to use. I don't know a lot about exterminating companies, but I know good when I experience it. I did check BBB first and came up with Action. I sent my online request for an appt through BBB & Action was quick to get in touch with me to set it up. Joel came out & he was very personable & courteous as well as seeming to know what he was talking about. He asked about what pests I had seen and for any particular issues I had. He explained what he was going to do, chemicals he uses (some from Chrysanthemums!), and he got to work. He said he'd start inside first so he wouldn't track dirt in. He went through everything and even got up in the attic! I told him I was impressed with that and he said most companies won't do that but that's usually where silverfish (& other buggies) hide to get away from those chemicals that kill & to picnic on your insulation & wood. He got under the crawl space & went around the outside about a good 4 feet & even sprayed some stuff in the water main hole as well as dusting off my spider webs around the eaves. I'm glad he sprayed the attic because *holy **** they started popping out of the eaves while we were outside. He was kind enough to pick a few up and show me the different kinds...German brown, wood roach, some others; strangely beautiful, but completely gross. I called the company this morning & told them what a great job Joel did! He was out here a good 1.45 & it was $135. I felt like I got a great job done for a fair price. There also was no hard sell of a package or monthly visits. Just a polite mention of them & asked if I was interested. When I said no, he left it at that. I will definitely use them again as needed and I highly recommend them. They take cash or checks at the time of service or you can pay with your credit card by phoning the office. read more

My property management company failed to prep our house completely before our move in. They failed to steam clean the carpet in at least one if not two of the bedrooms of the home (those are the only two carpeted rooms in the home). I found flea infested cat litter in my son's closet (we don't own a cat). Action Pest was called out to take care of our infestation. The tech that I spoke to first was extremely kind and sympathetic to our situation and full of helpful information. He was able to get us an appointment right away. The tech who came out was on time and also very nice with good information. Both techs let us know what to expect over the next month after treatment. I highly recommend this company! read more

If you found Action Pest, look no further. I was absolutely horrified when I found bed bugs in our bedroom and spent hours researching to find the best company to handle the situation (8 in total in Charlotte). Action Pest offered a great price to do the heat treatment for our whole house (DON'T go with a company that only does a room or two, or doesn't do the heat treatment). The price included the initial inspection, treatment, and followup K-9 visit plus a 30 day guarantee. Everyone was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and professional. I felt confident that our problem was in good hands from my very first phone call. They were able to schedule us as soon as possible and were with us every step of the way, providing guidance for the prep work and information on how to eliminate & prevent this from happening again. They were even able to come inspect the storage unit I rented to make sure we weren't moving de-contaminated items to another infested area (thank you!). Going through this has been absolutely awful, but this company put my mind at ease that it would be fixed and life would go back to normal. The problem has been 100% resolved with the one treatment and I couldn't be happier with my experience and results. Plus Charlie, one of the K9s, is GREAT! I have been dealing with this company for many years, and they are the best! If you DON'T need a termite treatment they actually will TELL you that! And their rates for all services are very reasonable. They came out 2 weeks ago and removed a wasp nest from my window and sprayed for ants at NO charge! We had a lot of rain that week and the ants persisted. They came back again still at NO charge and this time ants are zapped! Kudos Action Pests! read more

Kept the bugs away...but not worth the trouble of dealing with their office staff. I will be going back to Orkin. I agree with the other reviewers on the quality of their technicians (professional and competent) Action Pest should let them answer the phones and resolve billing issues- not their "billing manager", Pam. Pam's extensive customer service skills included informing me they "just don't do things that way"...(and aren't willing to...) My request was not that unusual- I wanted to be billed automatically via credit card when my quarterly service was completed. That's how Orkin had been servicing my home for years. Pam clearly did not want to move away from her abacus- which was fine. However, her decision to hang up the phone on me when I asked for the owner's name was far from professional. I did not think my request was an unusual one, and when I called back, I was assured the "owner" would be calling me back to help resolve my issue. After 3+ weeks of waiting for that phone call, I decided to find another company who actually wanted my business. Bottom line: If you want to be treated like a customer, don't look here. read more

He actually took time to visit my apartment and gave me OUTSTANDING instructions as how to prepare for an upcoming treatment.
