Well they are quick to take your money, and very slow to get any work done, the 1st day they no showed on me, not even a phone call, we had to call hours later to find out they had no to do the job, next day rain, rescheduled for the next day, they had 1 job b4 us, they showed up at 2pm, without the wood to do the job, or the proper equipment. at 430pm they informed me they were having problems cause the brought the wrong screens to close off vents, they promised to be there wed at 9am, dude called me at 830, another emergency. wouldnt come out till sat am. called and left several voice mails and one text to dustin ( the man who took $400 dollars (1/2 the job) no response of course. Not the way to run a buisness, customer service? does not exist with this company. I really want to leave NO stars. read more

We recently purchased an old home with some access points around crawl space, an ended up having possums moving end. Tried working with A-1 and they recommended trapping and then sealing crawl space access points. However, after trapping four possums and still having issues (i.e., several still living in crawl space, and resulting in a flea infestation) we asked them to remove directly from crawl space and seal. After a two+ week wait, they came out, did not remove any possums, but sealed access points and assured us there were no more possums in crawl space. Turns out they were wrong, and we now have at least one dead possum in crawl space which they are refusing to remove. House stinks, and we now have flies in addition to fleas. They clearly have no idea what they are doing - my husband is more of an expert at wildlife removal than anyone they sent over. read more

I was sadly dissappointed with the outcome of my inspection. I have visibily seen a snake at the top of my coping and hiding uder the ledge outside my two story house, to high to reach myself. I was hopeful that it would be removed and relocated. Though the technician was polite, I was told he probably couldn't find it, make a friend of it, and was charged the $99.00 fee, I felt less than satisfied. How unfortunate as I always try to support my local businesses. Will not be able to refer them to anyone with confidence, since I must find another service to assist with the situation. read more

We interviewed other wildlife removal companies but Chris was the most knowledgeable one we spoke to and clearly very passionate about wildlife removal. Now let's see if he can get these bats out of our attic! I feel confident that Chris and his team at A-1 will do a good job and will follow up with another review when the work is finished. read more

I had a squirrel get into my fireplace and I could not get it out. I called A-1 Wildlife Control to help me out. Unfortunately, they could not get out that day, but the next day Zee came out to check out the situation. By this time, the squirrel had already climbed back out on his own, but I wanted the situation corrected so that no more critters could crawl down in there. Zee went up and checked out the top of the fireplace and was able to find where the little guy got in. He fixed the problem in no time at all. All in all, I thought the service was good and reasonably priced. I would use A-1 again if the need arose. read more

I called A1 Wildlife Control because I had bats in the front awning of my home. After I called, Dustin came out, assessed the situation, provided insight on the migratory habits of the bats, gave me a fair quote and set up an appointment to seal off the entry points Nathan was the lead party that came out and he educated me on seal options for my exhaust ports. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. I will cetainly use them again in the future if needed. read more

This company is the best around, they gave me the cheapest quote for bats in my attic and raccoons in my chimney, but better quality and professionalism than the company trying to overcharge me. Dustin Pike was very helpful and explained everything to me as the process continued, he was very prompt and was always available when needed. One of their trucks got mad at me when construction forced a lane merge and I was unlucky enough to merge in front of him. For over a mile I dealt with the truck riding my rear bumper and him laying on the horn without letting up. I had my 4 year old son in the car who was petrified. I called their office and left a message for a call back and briefly explaining what happened. We played phone tag a few times then nothing. I've never used their services before, but based on the actions of their employees on the road and lack of follow up when I wanted to complain, I never will. Their driver could have caused an accident. read more

We called A-1 on May 13th for a bat removal and cleanup quote. Allen said he was moving something across country was out of town for the next week and that he would call the next day to schedule. He did call the next day and had Phil come out for the initial inspection later that week. Phil noted that there was a small colony of bats. The next morning we had a bat in our bedroom which is right below the attic. I texted Phil to let him know about that and got no response for three hours. so I called Allen to ask him if they would be able to place the net any sooner. His response to me was "keep your appointment because we are having to turn people away we are so busy". Phil eventually called me back and said that we must have left a window or door open (we didn't) and that's how the bat got in. I texted Phil on a Saturday that we had the signed contract ready for him to pick up. He never responded. I called him the next day and he said that he saw my message but hadn't had time to call me back. He came that Monday to pick up the contract, and said that someone in the office would get back to me with scheduling a time to complete the project. Five days went by and no one called me back. I called the office and talked to Allen who said he would call me back. His wife who works the office called me back and said they would not be able to fit us in for the net placement and soffit sealant until the next week. The tech was on time and explained that he would be back in 14 days which was today 6/27 in the morning. At 10 am I called and had to leave a message for the office to get an ETA on when the tech would be there to complete the attic cleanup and disinfect. Allens wife called me back and said the tech was going to call me. the tech called and said that he forgot to call me and tell me that they were running two days behind and that they would be able to come Thursday. He was very apologetic. I wish we could just get out of the contract. Who would have thought it would take a month and a half to get a simple project done? I want to add that both Allen and Phil need to learn a little about customer service because from the multiple phone calls I made to them, they were both very arrogant and they acted like they were to busy to talk to me. if I'm paying you $1,000 I want it done when you say it is going to be done. read more

I called A-1 Wildlife to take care of a squirrel who had gotten in my attic. They sent someone out immediately. Once they filled me in on the procedure, they installed a trap, which worked. They then removed the squirrel and trap and repaired the damage. All work was done timely and professionally. Highly recommended. read more

Kept hearing "prancing" in attic during different times of day and night. Not knowing what to expect I set a borrowed trap from a friend , baited, and set in attic, Didn't take long to snare what I thought would be a raccoon or possum. Upon entering attic found 2 kittens in trap.Brought down and took to Animal control.Knowing that the mother or more kittens were still up there I tried to re-bait trap. Hearing trap door slam and went to investigate. Mom had set trap but was able to escape.After several attempts Mom was avoiding trap altogether. Decided to call A 1 for professional help. Employee came out to analyze problem and offer recommendations.Trying to sell an additional $930 worth of "fixes" along with the service call of $149, he suggested to set trap and catch cat first. Found an entrance on roof line and set trap on roof near openning.Same type of trap and bait I had in attic.He said to keep eye on trap and once snared to call them.After 2 days of watching and still hearing noises ,I called to asked if they needed to re-bait trap. After all, the cat food had been outside in full sun for 3 days. Was told "Give cat a little more time to be trapped".After a week had gone by and with no follow up or phone calls I decided to hire another company to finish the job.....Feel like These people are not any more professional than myself..took my money and left me hanging...wouldn't recommend at all...sure would like my money back...! read more
