LOVE THIS PLACE! My car was broken into and the back passenger window was broken, I called them the day of and they got me in the next morning. They were very friendly, so sweet and sensitive to the fact that I was upset about the whole ordeal. It only took them an hour to install a new window, they vacuumed all of the broken glass and pretty much my whole car! They even folded the blankets I brought with me for the cold drive!! BAD INSTALLATION. BAD GLASS. BAD QUALITY CONTROL!! We were sent here by another company to replace the back hatch glass. We also needed the new glass to be tinted and had that done after the glass was replaced. Once tinted we were able to see marks along the outside surface of the glass. I called and spoke to the manager named Ben. He asked that I come back so he can check it out for himself. Once I was there and Ben saw it for himself, he said it is a common manufacturing defect and that all glass has defects. The OEM glass they took out did not have any defects. I asked Ben why the glass was installed with the defects because there should be some quality control standard during and after the installation process. Ben stated that it is partly a customers responsibility to find issues with their installation and materials. After a bit of back and fourth he agreed to reinstall another piece of glass. A week later I get a call from Ben. They have another piece of glass and he wants me to come down to take a look at it. Again, there were manufacturing defects and I told him I don't want that installed. And he said he would have another piece of glass shipped. Then Ben tells me the owner named Michael feels we as customers are partly responsible for quality control and therefore responsible to pay half the cost to get the new piece of glass tinted. I told him there's no way we are paying for any of it because this was all due to their lack of quality control. Ben even admitted that his installer made a mistake and installed a piece of universal weather stripping that wasn't supposed to be included in the install. Which by the way, was installed with no care nor precision. Again, after some back and fourth, they were willing to cover all costs. I was willing to continue to work with Ben because I wanted this to get done. After two more defective pieces of glass Ben leaves a phone message stating that in all his 30 years of working in the business he has never come across a "perfect" piece of glass. So what, are they installing defective glass into other customers cars??!! Maybe that's why they are so inexpensive!! At this point, I give up with Ben and call the company that originally sent us to Action Auto Glass. They asked that we give Ben and Action another chance. A month goes by from the original install date and I believe 5 pieces of defective glass. But Ben could not seem to find that elusive "perfect" piece of glass. In the end, the company drops Action Auto Glass as their preferred contracted technicians and we are sent to the dealership to have the work done. read more

Great Customer service. I called 7 different glass companies to find the best price for windshield replacement. (Safelite was the most expensive, by the way) Some companies I spent 20 minutes on the phone with just to get a quote! I chatted with these guys for about 3 minutes, they were very personable and not in a rush to get rid of me. (other companies did this They were more than happy to offer me a quote and did not sound irritated when I told them I would call back after I discussed prices with my husband. They were polite, personable, and worked with me to get me an amazing deal. I was scheduled promptly for the next morning, the tech came to my home, was polite, worked diligently, and was finished within the hour. Great Price. Great Service. Reliable. Local. Just awful. Avoid this place unless they are all you can afford. On Saturday, I made an 11:30am appointment here to get a passenger window on my 1990 F150 replaced. Was given a fair quote, signed the authorization, confirmed my phone number and was told to expect a call when the work was finished; I dropped off the truck an hour early and was on my way. 3:30pm rolls around, and still no follow-up call. I call in, and "Oh, yea, it's finished." Missed mark #1: no follow up call. I get there around 4, and ask to make sure the install went smoothly, essentially to make sure it was a standard replacement and all is well: "Yep, yep, technician didn't say anything so I think it went Ok(-Mark)..." Doesn't sound reassuring, so I pay the agreed price, and go check the work. Window is a terrible fit, and there is black glue or track lube all over the new window and windshield. In addition to no clean-up, the window had play of about half an inch side to side, because it was too narrow if a fit. Missed mark #2 & #3: sloppy clean up and improper fit but still presented to customer as good to go. Mark says he never knows whether or not his products will fit, and with the aftermarket manufacturers, it's a shot in the dark. Suggests leaving truck for another business day for a second manufacturer, which will also be another shot in the dark if it will be a proper fit or not. How does someone sell a product line and have no idea if it's quality or crap? We work out a discount, and I call it quits; u don't have the time or patience for another potentially wasted day in the shop. I get on down the road, and they didn't even hook the door speaker back up! Missed mark #4: incomplete/improper reassembly. WILL UPDATE. read more

When my 2010 Corolla's passenger window got smashed, other auto glass places said they couldn't get the glass for a car that new, and I would have to go to a dealership. One dealership directed me to Action Auto Glass, and they had no problem with it. They drove their mobile shop out to me in Redmond from Tacoma the very next day, were professional, courteous and quick, and I wound up saving about 40% over the cost of getting it replaced at a regular dealership. They missed some shards of glass with their vacuum but that's to be expected. All in all, I hope I never have to see them again, but if it happens again I'm calling them first. read more

The best way to tell about a company is how they resolve an issue. In my case, a piece of molding was installed improperly and came off the car. Action Auto Glass quickly ordered a replacement, promptly followed up and installed it. read more

Took 10 minutes. Fixed our rear view mirror with the correct base to the windshield. They said they'd replace the windshield if it broke in the process. Super happy with their service and dedication!!!! Highly recommend to us by our Honda dealer from whom we purchased the minivan, and I highly recommend them, too!! read more

I was referred to Action Auto by Stamy insurance for a free rock chip repair. Not only were they friendly and accomodating (I was late to my appointment), but they were also super fast! Even though it's nowhere near where I live, I would definitely go there for any auto glass needs. read more

I'm extremely frustrated that my scheduled appointment to have my windshield replaced took over four hours. Other than some apologies for the long delay, no offer was made to reduce my bill or any other options to make up for my lost time. I sincerely trust that this is not everyone's experience but I cannot recommend this place. read more

I've had at least two windshields a year replaced since 2012. I always receive excellent service and fair pricing.

I brought my car in for windshield replacement and I was not happy because they broke the molding at the corner of my windshield and had a glass piece punctured onto my dashboard. I complained to them, of course, they denied it. Make sure take pictures of your car before giving to them to work on or you will be sorry. Best of all, do not take your car there. I came in at 830 and out at 1030, took only 2 hours, but they charged 3 hours on my paperwork and got wrong Info. What a joke read more

After attending a funeral in Lakewood last week, we stopped at a local restaurant for a bite to eat. After just a few minutes, someone broke into my car by smashing one of the windows. I called several "national" auto glass companies and nobody could help me out. Then, I contacted Action Auto Glass and even though it was 4:45 (and they closed at 5), they waited for me to get there. As soon as I pulled in, both John and Mark were on it! One of them was vacuuming all of the glass out, the other was working on a temporary window for me. Then, they used an air compressor to blow out the rest of the glass shards. They stayed late, did an excellent temporary fix for me (so I could drive home to Edmonds) and all for $25. Thanks, guys! When a mobile glass replacement company (Dunrite Auto Glass - Puyallup) failed to show up at my house for my appointment on the day somebody broke into my 1997 truck, Action got me on their schedule the same day that I called. I got 5 estimates and Action's was one of the two lowest. They had access to the glass that I needed when most of the others said it would take them a day to get it. Their waiting room is tiny and really needs a TV, but I can't complain about their work. Hope I won't be replacing any auto glass soon but, if I do, I'll call them first next time. read more

Action Auto Glass installed a new windshield in my truck in November of 2015. I was in a severe car accident a few months earlier which broke my neck and required cervical spine surgery. Due to that accident, I underwent a year of rehab so my Ford Ranger sat in my driveway since the windshield was repaired. I had other vehicles to drive so there was no reason to drive the truck. Last weekend, I decided to wash the truck since it's been sitting for so long and I wanted to clean it up a bit. To my surprise, when I opened the door, there was mold all over the interior, the headliner and carpet was wet, and the back panel was warped. There was no rust along the edges of the windshield and it was very evident that the windshield had been leaking. Since there was a lifetime warranty on the work, I called the company to get a new windshield installed since it was due to poor installation. After explaining the situation to the manager, he stated that the company would not take care of the issue and hung up on me. I originally went with this company because they had better prices and offered the lifetime warranty. Now I'm stuck with a vehicle that has damage to it as a result of this company's work. I not only need a new windshield, but now I also need to have my interior fixed/replaced. Since this company refused to honor its warranty, I was forced to file a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General's Office, I notified the local media of the situation, and I plan on hiring an attorney to force the company to honor its advertised warranty. It's really disgraceful that there are still companies who falsely advertise their warranty to lure in customers only to leave them high and dry after subpar installation such as this. I will never use this company again! read more
