This place is GREAT. They do awesome work and it's inexpensive. I hit the front right-side of my car on a pole; there was a huge dent and deep, I mean, DEEP scrapes. I thought for sure I'd have to have the whole bumper replaced, but they were able to hammer it out, buff it, fix the dents and re-paint it. It looks BRAND NEW, like nothing ever happened. I also had them fix scrapes on the back bumper and on a side door. Again, people have mentioned how you can't tell anything ever happened. The shop is in the back of an alley between two businesses on Ramona Blvd, but it's totally legit. I was recommended here by a friend who had her car fixed here too. These guys are extremely fast and honest. Charles especially will work hard to over-deliver on his promises. I had not expected to get my car back for two weeks and in about 5 days they had replaced my rear bumper, passenger door and they surprised me by cleaning my car! The next day Charles followed up with me about the car and I mentioned my turn signal was going out - he then offered to replace it at no cost. The issue with the turn signal was more involved than we realized but it was no match for Charles' mechanical wizardry. He had the problem fixed in minutes. After being in a car accident my family member referred me to Juan and Charles. I have a 2015 Nissan Sentra and the bumper was hit really bad. So I got the body shops info from a family friend who swore that this body shop will leave my car like new after crashing the front end of the car, I took my car in December 11, 2018 and was told it was in good hands and they would be in touch , two weeks , three weeks and still no word. So I call in and they say that their sending the invoice the the insurance to approve it but was also assured they would be working on it never the less . It was now January and still my car wasn't ready and no word , I had to continuously call and check if my car was being worked on and when I was promised pictures they were not quick with sending them. When I called to complain that it was taking a while and my car rentals were getting pricey the gentleman (older guy owner ) he told me to not worry and send the bill to the insurance. Very unprofessional. Anyways it was it was now approaching end of January and the rain came with the winter as usual , come to find out the body shops closed when it rains. Wow just another reason why my car won't be ready in a timely manner. When they receptionist called me and told me the car would take another two weeks and they were waiting only for my air bag, but my car was put together and now looked like a car and I can come see it if I'd like to. Of course I asked if they were open Saturday and she assured me they were. When I showed up the gates were closed and no one was there. As irritating as that was I went on Monday and went again to look , my car was not put together and nor was it being worked on. When I asked why they felt they needed to lie they assured me it wOuld be ready in a week. A week passes I'm waiting anxiously for their call finally they call Thursday the second week of February at 4:47 pm when they close at 5 pm , and tell me my cars ready to pick it up today if I'd like. Of course I left work and went right away. Now 6 pm at night pitch dark they release my car to me. Of course it looked good it was night time , when further expecting it in day time I noticed the grill being crocked and my alarm didn't sound. When calling them it seemed as if I was a bother when my insurance paid these people well over 10 g to fix my car. I had to take my car two times after to fix it and order new parts for my alarm to sound again. Wow all in all I would only recommend this place to my worst enemy because their unprofessional and untimely. And the job is half assed. read more

I have been calling the shop first last week Wednesday Thursday and Friday and get no response till Monday and your worker told me the phones were down and the owner was sick Friday but not to worry now they will be operating as normal, normal business hours and all that if any thing changes I will be notified. Once again I try calling this Tuesday as I need my vehicle due to the fact that my other vehicle is not operable at the moment. And the fact that it's just sitting there, I told the lady I spoke to I might have to pick it up sometime this week and she said no problem sorry about that but we will be open sorry for the inconvenience of not answering the phone or emailing me back yet here we are again this whole situation is very unprofessional i expected a notice or something saying you won't be open as the lady told me I would get. Yet here I am in need of my vehicle desperately I drove all the way to the shop to find out you are closed due to Covid and not opening till the 21st which by the way thanks for the heads up as my wife and I were just over there . Now here I am with both my vehicles basically useless at the moment now I can't even get a ride to work! I do not want any service performed by you guys now due to the unprofessional service And lack of keeping me informed about this whole situation I am so frustrated and irritated at this whole thing bad enough my car has been sitting there for two weeks my fault for leaving it if I would have known I would never of left it at your shop. From start to finish we have been very pleased with this shop and staff. We took my husbands F350 in after we had a front end collision. This is not your average truck, it was my husbands birthday present from me years ago, and we are very picky with it. We are very attached to this truck and so we were very worried who was going to care for it the best. We were not disappointed with Acosta's. We have been more than happy with the quality of work and also the overall customer service from the staff. All the work done was done in a timely manner and finished when promised. They worked with my insurance, making several calls for adjustments to make sure that our truck would be done "right" and it was. Charles helped us out, he was hoenst, polite, and answered every one of our phone calls - every one, and would call us to let us know how things were going. They even detailed it inside and out.
