After dropping my SUV off at Norm Reeves Honda West Covina for servicing, I was driving around and shopping with my girlfriend while we waited. I stupidly hit a pole while reversing, giving a huge dent on the driver side fender. Being in the area, I immediately remembered how great Valley Collision was with helping me back when I got a custom front bumper and spoiler installed on my Mustang. I came over right away and asked for Danny, the owner, to see what they could do to help. Fortunately John was here and was I incredibly glad with his service. He went out to evaluate the damage and did a quick repair (thankfully). 20 minutes later and the dent was 95% fixed. We didn't want to get it repainted or fully fixed and we were more than happy with the job done. John took care of my girlfriend and I in this unexpected time and all during this hot weather. His customer service was phenomenal and he kept us laughing which definitely helped get our spirits up. Service like this is definitely what helps build loyal clientele base. I can personally vouch for their quality of work because my Mustang came out so nice that even after a year and 3 months, I've had zero issues. They use factory paint and you cannot differentiate their work from the OEM. They've made a customer for life and I cannot emphasize on how much I recommend this shop. So you'd think I'd drive off in my pretty looking shining car and bid Valley Collision good bye for good. Wrong. I was back in less than a week (and of course, it has nothing to do with my impeccable driving record!). I had some damage done to the front of my car - exactly the place these guys did amazing work on before. When I showed up with a guilty look on my face, they just kept the car for an hour and fixed what needed to be fixed... free of charge! We just got our 2014 tundra back from VC III, and were very happy with the work the did, after my tailgate was stolen there was significant damage done to the bed, they not only repaired it ( with all original Toyota parts ) but completely removed the bed and repainted it, my biggest fear was them being able to match the color (sunset bronze ) but it was spot on, thank you Oscar and all the crew that did a great job, I would recommend them to anyone who needs there service. I just had to write about my great experience at Valley Collision. My husband had won a free car detail and we took our Honda Pilot to be detailed. It took us a long time to redeem this certificate and John was great about it. They were extremely accommodating and professional. I honestly haven't had such friendly service in ages. I couldn't believe it when I picked up my 2005 Honda which hadn't had a good cleaning in months. It was beautiful and literally looked brand new. I can't stress enough what a difference this detail made. I tried to tip them since the job (over $200 value) was free and they wouldn't take it nor did they solicit this review. I wasn't going to leave an review, but this is outrageous. I had an bad car accident back in 2015. My car was toll here (the toll guy recommended) to get it fix. Everything was going good until the payment part. - all this happened back in early 2016 - The payment checked was mail to me personally by the insurance. The amount was what they quoted me for. My wife and I went there early in the morning. Three guys was there at the time. We went into the office. I told the guy that I want to pay all of it in credit card. The guy wasn't very happy about that. He wanted cash. We "talked" for a bit and agree to make three different payments. My wife and I only have a few hundred in-cash with us. He say since we have to make three different types of payment, they have extra fees. At the time, my wife and I really just want to get the car and leave. So, we ended making two larger payment in credit and check and few hundreds in cash that we had at the moment. It was over the quoted amount and it was well over the amount that the insurance gave us. One of the guy try to cheer us up by offering us coffee. I took a cup and get out of there as fast as we can. - sometime in 2017 - A lady from the shop called and told me that I still own them money. I explained what happened and she apologized and that was that. - now in 2018 of September - A lady called me again and told me that I still own them money. This time I was somewhat angry. She went ahead and throw some numbers at me and than told told me there is supplement and/or supplemental charge that was not payed. What the hell is SUPPLEMENT/SUPPLEMENTAL CHARGES. She also ask if we have car rental and accuse us of embezzling the insurance money that was meant for them. That got me really angry. I explained, again, of what happened in 2016. As far as I know, your shop is the one that gave us the quote to give to the insurance. I gave you that money and than some! I pay you extra and I did not call you every year to get that money back. Also, my medical insurance money is not meant for you! BEWARE everyone, don't ever believe what they quoted you on and also keep your receipt for years to come! Who knows when they will call you and ask for more payments. read more

Well on 1st impression I wasn't impressed with this place, office is kind of dingy and unwelcoming but it's not like you come to a body shop for the ambience. You come here to get your car fixed. Well right off the bat Daniel greeted me (I think he's the owner) and he was upfront and HONEST about the entire process. What a shocker, usually body shops try to be shady or screw your insurance over. Not this place. I'll add more once the repair is done but so far I am truly impressed with this place. Ok fast forward a couple days, I pick up my truck and it looks brand spanking new. The repair is not at all noticeable at all. Danny took the time to explain in detail everything that was done and actually cared if I was happy with the job. I have to say the place is hands down the best body shop on the area. I have been to this body shop 3 times to repair 4 cars in the past 2 years. This body shop is amazing. Took in my lexus, then my our 2013 volt, then chevy truck, and now my honda accord I have AAA insurance for our cars and prefer to go here (going forward this is the only place we will go because they are excellent and truly care to see their customers happy). I recently had my truck front end repaired here and I was amazed to see how different my 2002 Tacoma looked. It runs, looks and feels as if it just came out of the dealership. Also I was shocked to learn that repairs made from a previous accident where completely wrong, as in the color of the grill and front bumper. They staff here was friendly and provided exceptional service. Valley Collision fixed that problem and I could not be satisfied with the repairs done to my truck and I love the fact that they detailed it and polished the whole truck. Well I was referred to these guys via my insurance company after I got rear ended in April of 2011. I only saw one review on them and it said they were pretty good and being not that far from my residence, I thought I'd give them a try. I met with Alex and he took pictures and documentation and told me everything that needed to be done and that it would be about 3 weeks or so. He was super nice and honest and didn't mind me coming by every few days to check on my car and walked me through every stage that they were doing. Long story short, I only gave them 3 stars because they didn't do all they could do as far as finding my parts. I had a part that they called me about and they told me it was back-ordered and I would have to wait and nothing they could do. Meanwhile, I'm in a rental (which wasn't covered) so I'm getting worried. I ended calling dealerships myself all over the country to find this part and I did. I told Alex and he said that his parts guy was working on it and eventually found it himself. That was one issue (not that bad) , the other was when my car was done, it was not exactly like I left it. I mean, it looked good but after I got it home and to this day I'm still finding little things that were overlooked: 1. They cracked the inside door molding and just put the broken piece back in with epoxy. 2. The driver door doesn't close like it did. I have to pull it hard now. 3. There is a wave in the paint where the quarter panel was welded to the front half. 4. The bottom of the driver door was never color sanded, just the top. 5. There were extra screws in my cup holder (still don't know what they're for). 6. My high beams no longer worked (had to change bulbs, don't know what caused that) 7. One of the wing nuts that holds my tail lights on was stripped and epoxied back on. 8. Front headlight bezel tab broken and just put back in (not secured) 9. Noticeable paint line on the roof where they taped off to paint. 10. Clear coat has small impurities in it (not bad but can see if you're right up against it angled in direct sunlight. 11. Over spray on the whole car when I got it back (had to clay it out). 12. Rear bumper has small dirt bubbles in it (not bad but not smooth) Anyway, I'm a perfectionist and this is a brand new car. I just bought it in January 2011 and I was just disappointed that they didn't go that extra mile to make it look new again. Especially replacing the pieces that they broke. If you just need something small repaired, I'm sure they are fine but for major work like I had done, I would have to look elsewhere. read more

Frank C . suggested buffing it to make it look better and more like the new one.
