I cannot say enough great things about SVG Auto Center in Azusa. From the day of my accident on 12/5/2025 all the way through dealing with the tow yard and everything after, Art has been incredibly helpful, professional, and supportive. While my so-called "top notch" Allstate insurance was refusing to provide a rental and even expected me to pay additional out-of-pocket costs, Art stepped in and helped put me in a rental so I wouldn't be stranded. If it had been left up to my insurance company, I honestly would have had to figure out how to get from Azusa all the way back home to San Bernardino on my own; Even if it meant walking all the way there. From the very beginning, I was extremely impressed by the quality of customer service provided by Art , staff and even up to the tow truck driver. All were professional, respectful, and genuinely cared about helping during a very stressful moment. Art went above and beyond in ways my own insurance company did not. He took the time to explain things, guide me through the process, and make sure I understood my options every step of the way. I had an accident in 2020 and my vehicle was taken to SGV auto center. Because of the pandemic it took a bit to get it done but they got it done and they got it done right. Their complete disregard for proper filing and documentation procedures is horrific! To make matters worse, they initiated repairs on my vehicle without obtaining my authorization. This disregard for a customer's consent is not only unethical but also illegal! The negative reputation of this shop is so well-known that even the Allstate adjuster, responsible for processing my insurance claim, personally reached out to me to express their reservations about working with this shop! They stated that they did not recommend this shop due to the negative feedback they had received! Update after a month. Took my car back to SGV to get the various issues fixed, Art never apologized for blocking my number, and I had to sign an agreement to remove the review once it's all fixed (is it even legal to begin with?) otherwise they wouldn't fix my car. It's ready a week later, they fixed half of the issues, namely the key fob, missing screws and clips, and headlight alignment. However, they damaged a tube while fixing the misassembled lift gate, a lift gate button stopped working, fog light still shooting upwards, and the A/C noise was still there. Art said they don't know how to fix those and proposed that I get it fixed at the dealership, and he will reimburse me, signed an amended agreement. Later the dealership determined that the A/C was completely damaged and leaking, possibly due to working with not enough freon for extended amount of time. Remember how I got my car from AGV without freon in it and Art randomly pumped a can of freon in there? Yup, that's wrong way of doing it, you need to measure the amount of freon up to ounces. The cost of repair was around $2k, Art changed his mind (yeah like the agreement meant nothing to him) and said he will only pay for it if I not only remove the bad review **but also write a good one**. Guess what, $2k isn't enough to buy my soul, this review will stick around indefinitely! read more

Update: Art just sent me a really unprofessional text after he saw my review. Please refer to the picture. Exact words from Art after he saw my review: "suck my ****. I got your money motherfucker that's all I care about. Haha" unprofessional, Art did not own up to his mistake and broke his promise, broke my car's brake line, and was not able to identify his faulty work. I brought my car in to change my car's rear brake pads and rotors because I stripped one of the caliper bracket screw and was not able to take out the screw. The car's brake calipers were perfectly fine before they changed the brake pads and rotors. Art accused that my caliper was loose and needed to replace my caliper. I told him not to do it because i know for sure my caliper is fine. i took my car to another shop to inspect the brake. The other shop said the caliper was put on by Art's shop upside down and the brake line was touching the wheel which cause the brake line to break and no brake fluid was going into the caliper. The car's brake is fine after the other shop fixed Art's mistake and reset the brake sensor. I contacted Art regarding the this situation and told him the price to fix it. He agreed to reimburse me the fixing cost to fix everything. I contacted Art last Monday, July 8th, 2019 for reimbursement. To this date, he has not send me the money. He did not own up to his promise. His shop broke my brake line. Now he is ignoring my call. Really unprofessional. read more

BEWARE OF SCAM. My car was towed here after an accident by a tow truck that was not provided by my insurance company. How they got my information is unknown and will be investigated. The tow company informed us that the location for the tow had changed to SGV Auto Center. This was untrue and we unfortunately fell for it. The shop held my car for over a week and charged absurd fees ($145 per day)for storage whilst giving my insurance company the runaround every time they tried to retrieve the car. After 1 week, the fees were over $1k. Demanding cash only to release the car to the appropriate tow company is absurd. They just hold the car hostage as long as they can for a big payout. Do NOT let your car be taken here. If you do fall for this scam, try to get it out ASAP or else you're just racking up fees. Report this place if you've had a similar circumstance. read more

SCAM! BEWARE!!! SCAM ALERT!!! Recieved an automated call letting me know they are picking up my car from the towing company and will be delivering it to the body shop. Gave me the number to call them. When I did, the guy on the phone immediately told me that Siedners Body shop are piece of sh*t. They are horrible and does not care about the people, he continued to badmouth the company and then proceed to tell me he have an autoshop called SVG body shop in Arrow Hwy and Citrus. He was trying to convince me to take the car there instead and offered me $500 if I do. He told me to call my insurance company and that I want the cat delivered to SVG instead... also told me dont even mention the towing company talking to me about it. I said that sounds great. Let me call you guys back and let me look you up first. Within 30 minutes he called again and ask if I had called my insurance. I said now. I just got off phone with you. Im busy at the moment. I started looking them up on yelp and google.... while yelp have a 4 star review,,, they also have a lot of SCAM ALERT REVIEW and most of them are from car accident. At SGV auto center was my first choice overall in all the collision centers Ive had seen. There responsible, they have email alerts letting you know the process your car is going through wether is a new up date or how the car is doing at the shop. Art was the person in charge of my car after it got hit and run. I told him it's really hard for me not to have a car since I have a full time job , daycare , and pretty much in charge of my sons. He had my car ready in less than two weeks but it also depends the impact on the car. If had any concerns or questions he was a phone call away & gave me all the information I needed to know. I got a really good price from SGV, and the stuff are friendly. Just look at my pictures, I would say it's a job well done. Edited: I didn't write longer because Art D. said he was picking up his daughter, which I should by no means prolong. Things started as I had a dent (a really ugly one) in my car, and I sent out service requests on Yelp. Body shops and paintless dent removers would give their estimates and so I was able to compare the prices. It's an useful Yelp function. If you haven't done it before, you should try it next time. Well, let's hope that it won't happen to you, but life just happens, no matter how much you don't want it to happen, and no matter how much I hate to say that cliche. I did this in Santa Clarita, and did it again in San Gabriel when mom and I had some Chinese food there with some friends. That was how I found SGV. Art gave me warm welcoming words and explained what he would do to my car, along with a reasonable price. To be honest, the time he promised was a little longer than I had expected. But I had already planned my trip to Miami for weeks, so the longer wait time won't be a problem to me. AND, SGV did get my car ready before the promised time. When we came back from Miami, we took a Lyft to the shop. In Yelp, it shows that the shop closes at 6pm. But as we got there, the shop had already closed. The time on the door showed it closes at 5. I checked the back door (I prefer not to say sneaking because I wasn't sneaking at all, I just walked, no, rushed to the back door) and I found Art there, preparing to leave. He said he had to go, but after he learned that I live in Santa Clarita, he kindly agreed to temporarily reopen the machines for me. Learn from our mistake, if you have a choice DO NOT let your vehicle get towed here. We were in an accident and were having the car towed to a different auto body shop. Someone claiming to be from our insurance company called said that they switched it and were now going to tow the vehicle to SGV Auto Center. This insurance rep even had our claim number. Turns out, that was a scam. The person claiming to be an insurance rep was actually someone from Roadside Dispatch Towing, who decided to change up the destination to SGV Auto Center without consulting the insurance company. Members of both companies must be working together to get business. Also, once the car was here at this shop, we were also scammed into signing papers that were unnecessary and were lied to, ultimately costing us a few hundred dollars. Do not have your vehicle towed here after an accident, even if someone who claims to be from your insurance company calls to confirm it. It is a scam unfortunately. Stay away from this shop. SGV and some of their personnel are complete criminal scammers. I own a 2019 Alfa Romeo Guila Quadrifoglio, a $90,000 505 horse power sedan. They used a local tow shop to get my car towed there the day of the accident. The tow truck driver had their business card and stated that they were an Alfa Romeo certified repair shop. That was a lie. The accident took place on January 10, 2020 when another car pulled out in front of me which eventually led to my car colliding with a parked car. The passenger side was extensively damaged. Saul, SGV's representative, stated that they had worked on high end exotic cars before and the car would be repaired like brand new. The car only had 7000 miles. They tore down the car before I signed anything (illegal) and represented that the car would take less than two (2) months to repair. This was a lie. Three (3) months later they delivered the car to me and it had significant problems. The hood paint was deplorable. It was dull and you can tell that they painted over dust and debris. I was at the grocery store and an old lady getting out of her car said "hey, what happened to your hood?"!!! The four leaf clover emblem the Alfa Romeo manufacturer mounts on the passenger's side fender simply fell off on the freeway. Apparently, SGV doesn't even know how to glue an emblem. The paint started to bubble and peal away on the passenger side threshold above the rocker arm and they failed to paint the interior of the door with a color sanded finish coat. It was rough like sand paper. The passenger side roof inner rail and the area around the trim of the rear window was painted but not color sanded and was rough like sand paper. Even though the driver side was not damages whatsoever, SGV painted the front driver side door and front fender and the paint doesn't match. Worse yet it appeared flat. I took the car back several times and they tried fixing it. However, I took the car to another auto body expert that works on exotic cars (Markum Boling in Pasadena and Avio Auto Craft in San Fernando Valley) and what I discovered was horrifying. They did not fix all the structural damaged but rather just covered it up. The structural repairs they did were incomplete and amateur at best. The center column that mounts the passenger side rear door was still bent inwards and they solved that problem by placing washers behind the hinges to make the rear side passenger door look even with the front side passenger door and rear quarter panel. The apron behind the rocker panel was still mangled from the accident and they simply placed the rocker panel over it in hopes that it would hide the damage. However, that did not work because the rocker arm would not mount correctly. A nightmare. The electrical cap connected to the main electrical cord that comes out of the passenger side center post to give the doors and windows power was damaged. SGV simply used electricians black tape to hold the cap together. This is a critical part and the entire cord needed replacement, which means they should have removed the rear seat and dash board to replace this main electrical cord. This required the manufacturer to replace this part at $6000. My expert stated that the electrical tape would have eventually failed resulting in serious electrical issues. Here is where the criminal activity comes into play. SGV billed Mercury Insurance, my insurer, for new parts like the passenger side front head lamp assembly. Turns out SGV installed a used one from a JUNK YARD. The front head lamp assembly they got from the junk yard had broken mounts so when they installed it in my $90,000 car, it only had one mount and was lose. Saul, SGV's representative represented to me that the reason why the car was taking so long to repair is that this head lamp was on back ordered. LIE. I found this out because when I called the parts department of the Van Nuys Alfa Romeo dealer they said I could pick the part up that day!! SGV LIES!!!!! They also installed a used front grill and used drywall screws to mount the black grill mesh to the inner grill. Horrible. I hired Avio Auto Craft to repair SGV's debacle. When Avio started paint preparation they noticed that the paint on the panels SGV painted came off easily with a hand held razor blade.That should not happen. The paint SGV used was wrong and the preparation of the panels SGV painted lacked industry standards and know how. I could literally list about 10 other things that they did that were deplorable. My insurer, Mercury, has filed an insurance fraud complaint with the Department of Insurance. I have gotten about $15,000 back from SGV in their defense but the problems keep coming. I believe they only paid because they have been caught in insurance fraud. I have not had my car since January because of these crooks. Don't ever go to this place!!!!!!! They're scammers!!!!!!!! I was in a car accident and my car was suppose to go to another body shop provided by my insurance company. Don't know how it was redirected to this scam of a shop. They basically know what insurance companies are going to pay for "holding" the cars at the shop until the proces is complete. So they will over charge that initial holding fee. This means you usually get hit with that outrageous fee which is about $1000 because the insurance won't pay for it. And the fee has to be paid before they will release your car. The most interesting part about all of this is how did my car end up at SGV Auto when I agreed to a completely different auto shop.... my guess is the tow truck driver who took my call from the original shop, knew they could probably make some side $$ from the $1000 they knew I would have to pay out of pocket. My car had front-left collision damage. Got a AAA insurance estimate of approx. $2900. Went to SVG Auto, the estimate was a little more but worth it (replaced parts vs "as is repaired." I inquired about painting the whole car before repairs (estimate $3700 ) to color match repairs. After insurance repair work was done, the quote to paint was $3500.
