Needed a new windshield in a hurry after discovering a crack from driving on the 605 . Contacted this shop as my niece had her windshield repaired over 10 yrs ago from them. Got a quick response with a great affordable quote as I have been quoted twice as much. Scheduled an appointment and they arrived as scheduled and completed the job within the quoted time. So convenient not to have to go to a shop and wait around! Great customer services and highly recommend this company. read more

Windshield Express - New windshield - Auto Glass Services Near Me - Covina, California

It seemed like a good deal and job at first. Now, I regret giving my business to them. I had the bad luck of getting my front windshield cracked. Went on yelp in search of positive ratings and came across this business. They responded to my residence and replaced the windshield in my driveway. At first I discovered a few scuff marks on the paint around the windshield and was unhappy. Maybe it could've of been masked with some masking tape in order to prevent damage to the paint. But I let it be. Few weeks later after the job was completed, I noticed something on my car's roof top just above the windshield. It was several linear imprints on the roof top panel just above the windshield. Didn't see it sooner until recently I was walking to my car and the light was reflecting on the roof top. It makes sense, the technician used a tool on the roof top in order to replace the windshield but at the same time damaged the panel. Folks look at my pictures provided, and can't recommend this business. They damaged my car and regret reaching out to this business. Should gone elsewhere. read more

The voice message recording didn't accept any messages.. I was unable to get a quote. No way to contact.

Very prompt service and car was done in a few hours , received a quote over yelp and was done great

Although I didn't get to meet the gentleman that assisted me via Yelp, but I was greeted by a Brian and Bobby that got the job done quickly. There was a misunderstanding at first, slight miscommunication but they got the job done and done right. And one of the guys even told me: "when I saw you pull up, I thought you were my ex wife, cuz she drives a Car like that." I laughed and joked and said no wonder you kept dawging me. Lol I'm glad when you can joke with people. So far no cracks no leaks wasn't kept waiting for long. I do recommend this place. read more

Came home from a lovely day of whale watching to find my car window broken. It looks like a neighbor mowed there lawn and ran over a rock?? Anyway, I woke up on Monday morning to find someone who could fix my car's window ASAP. I tried to get quotes from four different places but Windshield Express responded the fastest, they had the best price, and they were able to fit me in that same day. I came in and my car was ready within an hour and a half. I'm so happy that this was done quickly. The guy who helped (Bobby I think is his name) was very nice, professional. I would definitely recommend. read more

I took my Honda CR-V in to of course get my front windshield replaced . Well they replaced the windshield but broke the rubber on the outside of the side strips that goes on the outside of the windshield. It might have not been a big deal but to replace the rubber I need to buy the whole side trims !! It's going to cost me $300.00 never going back there . I I would not recommend anyone to this place totally not worth it!! I even took it back and all the dude could say is " I don't know looks like the rubber fell off!! Not that rubber doesn't just fall off !! It is all one piece not worth it!! Karma is a B! I would take back that one star but yelp makes you put one . read more

I left them a review on Google already, but we are so pleased with the service we received today that I'm writing it here as well. Something hit and bounced off of my moms windshield on the freeway and cracked it horribly! It was a huge crack that required her windshield to be replaced. It wasn't drivable and we needed to get it fixed ASAP. I found this business and contacted them. Eric texted me since he missed my call and we figured everything out. He was able to schedule us the same day and the replacement was completed within 90 minutes. Neither my mom or I are experts in these things so we'll see how durable this is as time passes. However, we are extremely pleased with the quick and easy service! Thank you, Eric and team! read more

After my wife took the car home, I realized my interior trim is all scratched up and he broke the molding. Oem molding is $350!! It's also making wind noise. I went back to the shop and Eric told me he can fix it using his molding and he will try to make the interior nicer. The interior trims need to be replace to fix correctly and he refused to buy oem molding. Eric seems like a nice guy but he does not seem to care much about customers car. All he wants to is finish each job as soon as possible. The work did not match the rating he is getting here. If you have a car you care about, I would think twice before coming here unless you can monitor his work throughout. This taught me not to believe in Yelp rating. Maybe I am unlucky?..... read more

I got my windshield replaced at another auto glass center recently, and everything seemed okay for a couple of months. However, after the first overnight heavy rain right before Thanksgiving, I was shocked to find my car's interior completely flooded! I even thought that my precious old car was a goner! I immediately realized that going cheap was a terrible mistake! Also, there's NO way I was going to go back to the same auto glass center, even if they offered to redo my windshield for free! Luckily, my mechanic, Kerechuk, recommended that I contact Eric at Windshield Express to get my problem resolved. Why, why didn't I ask Kerechuk for a recommendation before I got my windshield replaced the first time??? Windshield Express would have saved me money as well as four to five days of vacuuming and drying out my car's interior. Yes, it took almost a week to completely dry the interior! I brought my car to Eric at Windshield Express a couple of weeks after. Eric discovered that my first replacement windshield did not have a proper seal since hardly any glue was used to seal the windshield! Eric also advised to seal and caulk the hood plastic cowl piece right above the windshield since it was no longer flush with my windshield. Now, I am absolutely sure this plastic cowl was actually flush to my windshield before I got my first windshield replacement! After the first rainstorm following Eric's repair, I felt happy and cautiously optimistic after not experiencing any leak. However, I didn't want to write a premature review. It's been unusually rainy in SoCal, and after so many more rainstorms, Eric's work has certainly been tested! I'm ecstatic as well as finally convinced that Eric at Windshield Express has solved my leak problem! Thank you, thank you for saving my old car! If you need your windshield replaced, don't hesitate to contact Eric at Windshield Express. From my first phone conversation to my service date, Eric and his staff were very friendly as well as truly professional! They were also very prompt as well as thorough! You will not be disappointed. 3/100 Reviews for 2017 read more

I had a new windshield put but didn't realize what a bad job rush job they did when it started to rain. Water leaked into my cabin. I kept the receipt, which states they guarantee their work, and tried to reach them over the phone, but they don't even answer or respond to text messages. I had to go to another place and they showed me how bad their work was and where the water leaked. I don't know how is it possible they have good ratings. Something ain't right. Either they have a lot of friends or they pay for them. read more

Horrible customer service. The guy in the front smacked on Takis while the other one looked miserable. In the end, no help from them just, " we don't got it." Save your money, time, and patience when it comes to lazy service. read more

Driving on the freeway, and another vehicle shot a rock, which hit the exact center of my windshield in front of me. (Kinda scary) I know that if you don't repair it, the whole windshield could crack at any time. $300+ For my Jeep, I'm sure. I called the most popular place (commercials) for this repair, and they wanted $114.99. It's the size of a pencil eraser head. Looked around further, found Windshield Express, for half the price of the popular go to. Made an appointment, and he said it would take about 30 minutes for the process. FYI - when you're looking for it, it's a little shop. I almost passed it... The employee was courteous, professional and proficient. He (Brian) was also kind...it was about 100* and he offered me a cold bottle of water. I was in and out of there within the 30 minutes. Definitely recommend~ read more

Awful experience from start to finish. I had brought in my utility work fleet vehicle for a windshield replacement. I had thought it was going to be a great job, but that was not the outcome. The two male employees seemed to be on the come down or high on some type of substance, when I was interacting with them. Very odd behavior. At the end of them finishing up their work. I decided to examine their work and I came out of there with extra damage done to my vehicle. The rear-view mirror ended up being broken from the bottom part where it mounts to windshield. The dashboard ended up being damaged as well. The center and sides of the dashboard were cracked. When I examined everything, I pointed out the damage they had done to the vehicle, and they just kept denying everything that it was already like that and that there is nothing they can do about it and denied fixing and replacing the damage they had done. When leaving the establishment, I pulled into a local gas station to further inspect the work, and I opened the hood of my vehicle and I saw the rubber weatherstrip hanging on top of the engine that they did not put back to where it belongs. Scary moment there, imagine if the rubber weatherstrip had gotten stuck in the engine fan. Overall, unpleasant employees and pathetic work. Take your business elsewhere. They are not able to man up and own up to their flawed work. read more

Had a large rock chip that created a one inch crack on my windshield. I needed to get this fixed right away because I didn't want this to spiderweb. Was able to book an early morning appointment for the next morning and the windshield was fixed within 30 minutes. I contacted the owner, Eric on yelp for a quote to fix a chip on my windshield yesterday. He responded almost instantly that I was amazed. I went to his workshop this morning and met the person who was going to fix my chip. He is a young guy, professional as he greeted me and offered me a place to sit and some refreshment. Immediately I thought wow, good customer service already! He examined the chip and said it is quite big. He is not sure if the outcome would be good but he is going to do his best if I am ok with it. I have nothing to loose so why not so I said go for it. 45 mins later, he told me he was so sorry for wasting my time. He wasn't happy with the end result. I looked at it, yea, the chip was still visible. With his professionalism and politeness from the get-go down to the end, I knew I was already in the best possible hands to fix this. If they can't help me, nobody else can. So how much did he charge me? Nada. Nothing. Wow! Ok, I am not going anywhere else to change the entire windshield. I will see these guys soon. I came to learn the young gentleman's name is also Eric. Keep up your wonderful work ethic, young man. It goes a long way! read more

Great service, honest, and quick. My windshield had a little knick after something hit it while driving in the 10 hwy last year. My technician recommended this place so I went, and it was fixed right away with a very reasonable price! I just had the windshield replaced three months prior (cost me $320) because an object flew out of a car in front of me while I was driving on the 210 hwy, and hit my windshield. So, I was not happy if a new windshield is needed eftagain Anyway, Windshield Express was able to treat the little knick to prevent it from spreading further so all was good Then, a few days ago I noticed that the resin that filled in the little knick was gone so I called and left a message. The owner texted me back right away and asked me to bring it in soon or the next day! How cool is that? So, today I went in and one of the technician helped me right away even though he was working on someone else's windshield. He's multi tasking My windshield was fixed in 10 mins, and the total waiting time was 15 mins. I asked how much I owed, and the owner said that it was still under their warranty so it was free of charge. That was awesome. Thank you so much for an awesome service. By the way, Dino Querin who is my trusted car technician from Valley Mercedes was the one who recommended me to go to Windshield Express. read more

I literally brought my vehicle in today to get my windshield chip repair , prior to me doing it myself using rain x repair kit to fix it on my own. And the job only took 20 min. 10 min was to air out my car and the other 10 was supposedly they were working on my windshield. When I looked back, it looked the same as when I brought it in. I wished they were as honest and told me , hey it looks like you fixed it yourself. But instead took the opportunity to take money from me knowing they knew that I had already fixed it myself . Ended up giving them 40 and leaving the place with doubts and questions. I then spoke to Eric the owner and he then refunded my money. Eric is a great owner and was professional I just wished the 2 employees were more honest. Overall The owner resolved everything read more

I had a small chip on my windshield and from past experiences I needed to get it fixed ASAP before it starts to spider out. Well that being said, a day later the chip started to spider out. When I got to the shop, the people there where busy as they were already working on a car, but that didn't stop them from helping me. I was not too sure if they can repair the chip, but they said they'll try to. To top it off, if the window started to chip, they said I can use the money I spent as credit toward a new window. I was not expecting a warranty at all, but that sold me. The good news is that the chip was repaired and I didn't need to replace the whole windshield. It only took less than 30 minutes from start to finish. read more

Was on vacation in Cali and had our car broken into. Called the closest glass shop with good reviews. Stopped in and had the rental car back on the road in 60-70 minutes. Eric was the managers name and he had the interior clean like it never happened. Returned the rental car back and they never said anything! Plus his price was totally fair. 1st and only call for me. I own a glass shop in Minneapolis and I know how much reviews mean. Some shops have fake 5 star ratings. Not this shop. Eric and his tech are top notch installers in California.
