I contact Lowes and with in a couple of days had a sales person come out to the house, name Jim. This was early June 2026. Went over what I wanted, broke down cost etc.. I agreed to the contract. He stated in a few days the installers would come out and double check his measurements. That took a month before they came. Then had a delivery of July 24th, ok good. Then that was push back to the end of August. That did not please me. Then it was push to November 6th, no way this when I blew up. Back and forth never with the same person, and always a different story/reason what was going on. I already had made my first payment with really not knowing when the work would be done. That is when I demanded my money back. Then all of a sudden the manager was able to make things happen. Today 9/11/2026 the installers came out with the windows to finish the job that started over 3 months ago. KC and his crew did fine work no issues with them. They are not Lowes employees. I had told Jim I was getting ready to do allot of work at my house to get it on the market to sell. Lowes has lost allot of money, next was flooring, then painting etc... The option i was told was to issue me a gift card for that double charge but would have to spend that in the store. It was later mentioned to me when pusuing it the option to refund the double charge in cash. I took the cash refund and deposited that back to my bank account. Why could they not deposit it back to my bank account which i was told by them they could not. i am retired on limited income and needed that money put back into my bank acct i did not want store credit. I ended up getting a cash refund but not happy nor satisfied how it was handled.

I have purchased many high and small end tools, compressors, jacks, air jacks, trailer equipment, you name it. At the end of last July I purchased an expensive generator, The super quiet Predator 5000 dual fuel. Normal price was right at 1100 got it for 900 with a coupon. I thought I had got the top of the line for what they offered and very proud. My family and I went camping in August for a few nights, again in mid November. In the middle of the night the generator just quit. We googled every thing we could, oil level safety sensor, Co2 sensor shut off. Nothing could make it stay running. I wanted to use it only LPG but even put gas in it to make sure it wasn't a fuel issue. On both, it would start, run for 20-30 seconds and shut down. I called the 800 number on the stickers you see on all of their equipment, to never get to answer. I left messages every time. I finally called the store only to have the manage say "sorry" he couldn't help as I didn't purchase the extended warranty. My bad. I had only 29 hrs on this unit and it was dead in the water. I finally was able to get what sounded like mature person on the 800 number to be informed that they on have one person that answers these calls and are too busy to return messages. Just have to be lucky to catch someone. Pretty much told the same from the store. What they did say was that there was a generator place in Heber that could help me. Making (2) two hr round trips and $245 later, a working generator. Apparently a Co2 issue and super common with these units. Woodchuck saw however, great service! , Ever talk about a recall on them. There is also a Facebook page just dedicated to the issues with these units. Wow! My advice is to spend the extra $ and buy a name brand generator. It would be in thing if it was just the problems with these units but the lack of service and selling their product with the big sticker "Call 800...." For help to me, paints a somewhat shady practice. Because of this I will go back to Amazon and at least these stand behind their products.

The staff at Ace Hardware, Show Low, were more than helpful in helping us to complete our projects, including fixing problems and breakdowns with their creative solutions. They went above and beyond. From Phillip to Kaylee at the front desk to Sue and Dustin, the extremely helpful manager. No matter what the project, it's good to have competent help and great service! Well I went in there yesterday to do a simple thing buy a staple gun. Then they try to charge me…read more$32 for a $19 staple gun. So I had to go back in the store after I realized what they did get a refund and then take the staple gun home. Try to use it. It was a Stanley staple gun which is normally pretty decent brand. The clip kept falling out of it and the Staples would fall out and it would do it like every other time that I would staple something. So anyway, I took it back today. The cashier gave me a hard time about returning it. Want to know if I was going to buy anything else. I said no. I just need to return it please. Then she caused some clown up there named Dan. He comes up. Trips falls on the counter like he's drunk or something. And then I told him what was wrong with it. He said no. No they're good guns. There's nothing wrong with it and then the cashier said well. What do you think? Dan, he goes this not wrong with it. It's good. Put it back on the shelf I'm like look it's not good. I'm telling you it's got problems that's why I bring it back. No there's nothing wrong with it. I'm like Saw you calling me a liar. You're saying I'm stupid. I tell you what these people are clowns I've been doing business in that store for 28 years. I've only returned two items in that amount of time and the first time they gave me a hard time. It was a swamp cooler that was a piece of crap that was $350. And yes, they're hard to deal with if you have to return anything. So I felt very uncomfortable with the line of people there. And by the way, there were other people returning some items. I don't know what they were but that's why people go elsewhere to Lowe's or home Depot or Walmart. If you have a problem they refund you. No questions asked basically, but not Ace hardware. They want to treat you like you're a criminal.

The store was a horrible experience, when I walked in the store, the man Vincent said welcome to Ace Hardware, but when I ask him a question, he was very rude at first and very little help finding what I needed. Then I went to pay and the girl Destiny was on her headset talking to someone the whole time and she was no help whatsoever. I would've bought a lot more stuff, but I didn't feel like giving money as rude as they were from the beginning to end. I am in this town every month to visit, but I will never shop there again!
