My husband an I just bought a 37 gal diesel fuel tank for the back of his truck. We went to fill it up and there's a pin hole in one of the corners and it's leaking diesel. We called TSC right away and Michelle spoke to the manager and said they would give us 15% discount, which isn't fabulous, but it's better than a kick in the head. When we got back to TSC, Michelle told my husband they weren't giving us anything off, and we can just return the tank. My husband asked about the $36 worth of diesel in the take that he already paid for. Michelle basically said that wasn't their problem.
Long story short, my husband said he wanted to speak with the manager, who wasn't there. My husband said he wasn't leaving until he spoke to him in person, and had to get a little nasty about it, at which point they gave him 20% discount.
My question is, WHY do we have to get nasty before getting any kind of decent costumer service, on a faulty product you sold us? read more
