I love these people!! I bought a water heater at a different Ace location. Tried to exchange it at another different location. They refused to take their own product back! But the Snowflake location, and they had no problem with the exchange. This 8s my forever store!! Annandale they were able to make some keys for me that no one else could. Better if know what you need, though, because the knowledge-base resides only with a few of the folks. They will, however, do their very best to help you and, if it's not what you need, you can take it back, no questions asked, no hassles. Very good selection of rough pumbing, rough electrical and fasteners. Finish items tend to be few. Occasional weird/hard-to-find items, like any neighborhood ACE store. So it's fun to look around all the nooks and crannies. read more

A great store! Employees are super friendly and knowledgeable. It's not a huge store but they seem to have everything. I can't count the number of times I've needed some specific thing in the middle of trying to complete a project and they have had it. Someone always offers to help you when you come in. Cashiers are quick but always have time to make you feel like family. read more

I live in Colorado but I have to go to Phoenix once in a while so I stop to see my grandparents in the Snowflake area from time to time. Grandpa and grandma have always got projects and maintenance going on, so it seems there's always a trip or two to the local Ace Hardware for supplies. Snowflake Ace Hardware is one of those wonderful places that always have what's needed. And you're always treated like royalty. There's lots of help available, and you rarely have to ask for it. Every employee is super knowledgeable and totally on the ball. You might be told "aisle 14, halfway down, on the left, eye level", or you might have someone politely lead you right to that certain thing you are looking for. The prices are awesome, the inventory is unbelievable, and the people are one of a kind. The very best personalities you could ever hope for. read more
