I have shop here many times and bought plants and trees for the lady 3 year. We bought a plant and it died. It was professional planted. It was watered even through the winter. We called and were informed that give no guarantees on their plants. I paid $146 and all they could say was it must have got stressed. I love e their plants but after this I will find a new place. Not a way to treat customers. Go to Lowe's or Home Depot where they give 30 and 1 year guarantees on their plants, read more

We bought several dozen trees totaling about $8,000. We had 2 left over that my wife tried to return. Chris, the owner, wouldn't allow it. I guess they didn't meet his standard for return, which is a-ok. My wife is a wonderful person with zero malice. Chris very rudely stated that she was taking advantage of him, that the trees looked terrible and continued on and on in a belittling and accusatory fashion then promptly turned his back and stormed off. My poor wife called me crying feeling really embarrassed and belittled. Her comment is succinct, "why could he not politely tell me I couldn't return them, I wouldn't have minded." It's tough when a dude makes your wife feel little. I wish I had taken my significant order elsewhere. For context this is the first frustrated review I've ever left. I'm a 5 out of 5 kind of guy. We are relatively new to Pinetop - first growing season for us, so we visited Christopher's today. Bruce was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. He introduced himself, asked what he could help us with, spent as much time as he could with us - learned all about Peonies and hydrangeas. He loaded the plants that we'd purchased, and noticed that my visiting elderly mother was having difficulty getting into my our truck, within a couple minutes Bruce had a step stool at the car door for her. (And this place was busy!) For him to take the time to help us out was pretty amazing. Talk about going the extra mile. Fantastic customer service! We felt like family. wow. I gave up after being ignored and passed over by two employees who helped people who came in past me, even though I was standing right there. After having the second person walk past me and start helping someone else, I gave the first employee a look, and rolled my eyes. A few minutes later, he walked over and told me I was being impatient. I said no, it wasn't impatience, I was upset at being passed over twice and other people who literally just walked in the gate being helped before me. Nothing like being invisible. Justin was prompt in delivering a proposal with ample time for review, modifications and acceptance. He kept me informed on where we were at in line and when our time came he called and was there with his crew the following Monday. His entire crew were pleasant and professional. We had no problem with adjusting the plan as it went along. The finished landscape is awesome. We could not be anymore happy with Justin, his crew and Christopher's Garden. Super job!!! read more

Recently purchased two Autumn Maple trees. Excellent quality trees. Obviously well taken care of and healthy. Their landscapers that delivered the trees were very polite, courteous, and hard-working. They planted the trees perfectly, watered them, gave us care instructions, and hauled away rocks they dug up during the process. Their prices are very good for the quality. Avoid the big box stores with low quality. Shop local. We will be going to Christoper's for all of our landscaping and gardening needs. read more

Will never go back. Have bought several large trees there that have done exceptionally well. I recently bought 4 rose plants. 2 did not survive and I brought back after 3 weeks for a refund. The salesperson brought out the owner who was in his office. He came up to me, looked at the roses and stated "those were beautiful plants when they left this nursery. I don't know what you did to make it look like that. Animals, bugs. I will only do this once and I don't want you back." A few more words were thrown at me. I stood there in shock as he was up in my face, aggressive, customers and employees looking on. He went back in his office. A very quiet employee gave me a refund and I left. I have always enjoyed this nursery. The staff have always been very helpful and kind. I will not recommend this business to friends, neighbors, family or acquaintances from here on. He was manic, unprofessional and totally unacceptable. read more

We just moved to Show Low and checked out Christopher's twice in the last few weeks. They are unbelievably nice...ALL of the staff says 'hi' and has been so willing to educate us on what we're trying to grow/do. They all seem genuinely into what they're doing. Prices and selection are fantastic, too, but the people there are the reason we'll keeping going. read more
