Over the course of the next minute and a half, I $#%@# you not, we were asked some version of the same question by no less than four employees. It was almost laughable if it hadn't been so annoying. Of course, then we discovered the reason why people were so eager to help us is because you cannot find anything in this store. I don't know if it has to do with its smallish size or if it's just like, this store has been here so long that things are just tucked in nooks and crannies, but we had trouble deciphering what was where. Of course, by the time we figured this out, not an employee to be found anywhere. The second time I visited this store was fairly well a repeat of the first. But this time I knew the drill, so I was happy to take them up on their offer to help me locate what I was looking for. This was an easier trip, but I have to say the prices here don't particularly strike me as very low. It is not my favorite hardware store in the area, and I think I will only visit when I have an urgent need or it is most convenient.

We had planned a gathering at our home and expected to use the grill today, but that was not possible due to the condition in which it arrived. When I called the store, the only solution offered was to have the grill picked up and replaced with a fully assembled one on the next available delivery date, Saturday, 3/28/2026. I understand that mistakes can happen, and this would not have been a major issue if I didn't have plans for today. Unfortunately, because of this situation, I had to go out and purchase another grill from a different store in order to proceed with our planned event.

I was a bit worried about renting an enclosed cargo box truck from this particular location due to some of the negative reviews I have seen online. But this was the closest truck rental to the city of Hamel, where I had to pick up a 6 foot x 4 foot water holding tank to transport to South Haven. Online stated that the cost would be around $145 dollars a day with unlimited miles. I would need the truck the following day from 1000-1:00 pm. I reserved the truck online, and put down a $150.00 security deposit on my credit card, and went to pick it up in person the next morning. I was helped by an African American male (I didn't catch his name) in his 20's who explained everything to me, showed me where the hidden gas tank cover was, and walked around the truck with me and inside the cargo bay to point out the existing damage so I wouldn't get dinged for it. He then gave me the keys, and I was on my way. At about 12:30 pm, I returned back early to the Home Depot to drop off the truck. The same guy was there to check me out. I informed him I topped off the truck with gas, and told him about the low windshield washer alert that kept popping up, and that we didn't use it since it was raining all day. He told me no worries. He then explained the final cost, and that it would be deducted from the posted security deposit I had left earlier for $150. Lucky for me the final total came in less than the quoted amount online, and the rest of the deposit would be credited back to my credit card. All in all, I had a great experience at this Plymouth Home Depot location, and if I needed to rent another truck, I would do it here again. Great service and professionalism!

Everything is super spaced out, and it's not overly clear where things are. I ended up trying to find someone who worked there to ask for help, and it took me a while to locate anyone. The person I did find didn't know the answer, so I had to keep looking. Their stock of what I was looking for - simple hooks - was pretty low, so I had to go to another location. I probably won't come back to this location again, just due to its sheer size and overwhelm.
