It leaks, drip edge was installed incorrectly, and wrong drip edge was used. They cut my ridge for ridge vents when we were very clear we did not want them. They tried to cover the gap up with shingles instead of repairing the roof deck. Shingles were not nailed down correctly. Whirlybirds were not installed correctly. They billed for several items they did not do. They have admitted some of the problems but have made no attempt to repair them. He sent out one of his guys who climbed all over our roof and gave us a very reasonable quote for a few hundred dollars. The company that had come out the day before (large billboard on 105) had quoted us $5,000-7,000(!) to basically rebuild our roof. So we hired Saxon, his guy came out the next day, did everything and then went on to paint all the vent stacks and fireplace flashing. Since then our leak is completely gone and the roof looks better than it ever did. We will hire these guys for anything roof related from now on.

I cannot say enough good things about Carlos and his entire team at EZ Comfort AC & Heating. After…read morea very frustrating experience with another furnace company that installed a furnace in our new home incorrectly and not up to code, Carlos and his team came in and completely changed my experience with HVAC companies. From the very beginning, Carlos was transparent, trustworthy, professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly responsive. You can tell immediately that he and his crew are true experts at what they do. What impressed me most is that they never tried to sell me on things I didn't need. Instead, they took the time to listen to what was actually important to me -- having clean, healthy air in my home and making sure my HVAC system was working properly and safely. I originally hired EZ Comfort to clean my air ducts, but once they evaluated everything, they were able to help me address several issues that had been left behind by the previous furnace installation. They cleaned my condenser, helped bring my furnace up to code, fixed the heater stand, corrected the transition, installed UV lighting, thoroughly cleaned my air ducts, and did an absolutely amazing job from start to finish. Carlos and his crew worked their butts off. They came out to our home in Kingwood and had an incredible sense of urgency to help us. They were fast, efficient, incredibly responsive, and solved all of our problems within a matter of days. I honestly have never experienced that level of urgency and willingness to help from an HVAC company. And the difference in my home is unbelievable. Before calling EZ Comfort, my house was getting up to around 78-82 degrees during the day. Now, when I set my thermostat to 73°, my house actually stays at 73°. My home smells clean, feels clean, and is finally comfortable. That is all thanks to Carlos and his crew. They were also super friendly, honest, and competitively priced. I never felt pressured, and I always felt like they genuinely cared about doing the job right. I am so incredibly happy that I called EZ Comfort. After this experience, I cannot imagine hiring another HVAC company. As long as Carlos and his team are in business, they will be the only company I call. If you are in the Kingwood area and need HVAC work, air duct cleaning, or simply want someone you can actually trust, I highly recommend EZ Comfort AC & Heating. Thank you, Carlos and the entire EZ Comfort crew, for taking such great care of our home! You guys were amazing!
