We approved his estimate to replace the roof on October 1st, which was eventually finished, in roughly 55 days. On October 8th, while waiting for the roof to be replaced, I asked if he knew of a good company that could assist with minor remediation work. Ralph said they handle a lot of repair/mitigation work and would be happy to help us with that portion as well. I was thrilled. We approved his estimate on October 16th, and this minor remediation job is STILL not complete. What should have taken 1-2 weeks at the most, I am here writing this 5 months later. I can't believe I let this go on as long as I have, and I'm embarrassed to admit it, but he kept assuring me it would be wrapped up soon. I was told THREE times he had passing air sample results from testing he had completed, and each time he claimed to have the report, he never sent it to me. It was either the testing company's fault for the delay in getting it to me, the report was on a laptop in a different city (four hours away), or he was on vacation and about to get on a flight so he couldn't email it, it was ALWAYS something. I finally reached out to a reputable remediation company that said he could complete the remediation work in a couple of days and would have results for me just a few days after that.
