Took an expensive bridesmaid's dress for dry cleaning and when I got it back, the sequined portion of the dress was completely botched - little fluffs and threads everywhere. There was also a slight stain she didn't get out. Now I don't know if I'll be able to wear this dress again. At least I can try to save other people from making the same mistake. read more

Kim and Anna are a mother and daughter team, who work at the shop on different shifts. Both of them take their time with the customer. I am addicted to their dry cleaning and tailoring, since their prices are low and their workmanship is stellar. They do emergency work, e.g. tailoring for someone going to a funeral. They have quite an array of attractice face masks for adults and children at reasonable prices. If a stain will not come out, you will be told that. Kim had some simple tailoring ideas for a jacket and dress of mine. I have seen several people dropping off laundry bags for wash, dry, and fold. All of the reviews that have less than five stars below, were written about other owners. I highly recommend this business. read more

For the first time ever I needed to return clothes to a cleaner. Ace failed to clean most of my dresses and sweaters; they looked pressed (unlike the skirts) but were certainly not cleaned and smelled no differently than when they went in for service. This is what I get for trying the neighborhood cleaners. After I have Ace correct $400 of their work, I will return to my regular cleaners. Ace Cleaners & Tailors was recommended by a friend a long time ago, and I've had them do most of my tailoring since then, and some cleaning, though my husband uses Zoots for shirts & suits so I throw my cleaning in with his. The seamstress does flawless work on items from a 32" coat zipper to a sleeping bag zipper, to a highland dancer's kilt (very technical job). The prices have been reasonable - $5-$7 for most zippers, buttons replaced for very little, good cleaning prices. The turnaround is quick, and they'll try to fit in a rush job without charging extra. Very pleasant and efficient establishment. read more

I brought a winter jacket in for a new zipper. The woman behind the counter was very nice, and she told me the price - which I had to pay in advance, which is pretty unheard-of. When I returned to pick it up, I stupidly did NOT try it on or really even look at the jacket. When I tried it on at home, I discovered that (1) the zipper was on backwards (man-zipper as opposed to a woman-zipper), and - worse still - the jacket had shrunk significantly even though I did NOT ask for it to be cleaned and it is not supposed to be dry-cleaned. I don't know whether it had been dry-cleaned or washed in something, but whatever happened to it, IT IS UNUSABLE. There is nothing they can do to fix it. It was an old jacket but it was great and was not cheap, just old. I am really, really disappointed and would never go back for alterations. This place got a glowing review from a resident. It does NOT deserve it. read more

not too happy with this place. I must admit, I RARELY get things dry cleaned or tailored. and by rarely, I mean only 3 times in my 32 years. I will say this place SUCKED. I know a lot of dry cleaner place are owned by foreigners (which I have no problem with) but I will say they should speak english. The lady here didn't speak much of it which pissed me off. Now, it didn't piss me off like " welcome to America, now speak like us", it pissed me off in the way where she didn't understand what we were trying to say in how she needed to tailor the dress. We were unable to comunicate.I had her tailor a bridesmaid dress for my daughter and she botched the job completely. Normally I am a pretty good seamstress and would do this simple job myself, but with all that was going on that week, I knew I just did not have the time. well, I also didn't have enough time to go order a second dress and tailor it myself after the Ace Cleaners lady messed the original one up so badly. I've not used their cleaning services but will not step foot back in that place to even try. read more

I purchased a new long wool coat, and as is often the case, it needed another button to make sure it didn't blow open in the wind. I went around town trying to find a tailor who would add a button hole and button. No one, including Ace Cleaners, had a button hole machine. The tailor said she would do it by hand and assured me she would do a professional job. I told her that in the past, I went to a tailor who added the button hole by hand and it came out terrible. But I decided to let her try since I didn't want to keep searching and have to go to another town. Sure enough, when I picked it up ($26 for the button hole and a dry clean, that's a lot!), she hadn't measured the length of the button hole - it was visibly longer than the others! She also hadn't measured the distance for the button from the edge of the coat, this button is placed closer than the others - so both the buttons and the button holes don't line up. It is a red coat so it is more noticeable than it might be. I think the man I talked to was her husband, I told him I wasn't happy and he kept saying "We can redo it" but I said "You can't put back the wool!" I am hoping that I am the only one who will notice... read more

I will never go to this place again for dry cleaning. They will increase your price when you go to pick up the items by charging you more than agreed upon when you dropped off your items. Also they will promise that your items will be ready for pick up on a certain date but when you go to pick them up they are not there or not ready. This was my experience on more than one occasion and I will never go there again. They are over priced, dishonest and rude. I do not recommend this dry cleaner to anyone. read more

This place is TERRIBLE. They tell you it will be ready by Wednesday, HA that's a joke, Don't expect it to be done until Friday. I see other dry cleaners guaranteeing one hour dry cleaning, and this place is having trouble turning your clothes in less than three days. There are half a dozen places in the vicinity that are FAR better than ACE Dry Cleaners, I would highly recommend using them. read more
