Winn Street Laundry does their laundry on premise but they send their dry cleaning out. I'm not use to their prices, they have a minimum weight and Jezzzzus, their prices was astronomical! I asked how much and gasps behind me for asking and the lady at the counter "This is Boston" look and their awards let me know YOU WANT YOUR CLOTHES DONE RIGHT, SCREW THE PRICES. $7 freakin dollars for a single shirt? It was either my ego that agreed, determined to look Winn Street Laundry starched down and pressed or didn't wanna look cheap and couldn't afford their services. I said out loud "Good grief, I pay $2.79 in Houston for a man buttoned down laundry, heavy starched shirt". I felt the evil eyes trying to climb my Psalm 91 hedges of protection because one of the two tunnels here was closed due to construction and the traffic put commuter's at least 30 minutes behind and in traffic. These Bostonians need to fire up a joint which is legal here and CHILL OUT:)))) Anywho, my dry cleaning was superb and the heavy starch I requested cut my neck and was ready before time. My shirt collars was white so I had not a one complaint for my HARD earned mula. I received a text when my clothes were ready along with a reminder of the price, I like that. I learned a valuable lesson from Winn; order some white polo's from Amazon, buy Spray n Wash along with spray starch and save that money for 2 16 inch bundles of human hair:))) Here today! At pickup, I was told the clothing and pickup area did not have a smoke odor and not contaminated ( Michael Parreira). Despite that, the garments were processed. To remind Dry Cleaners by VAl its your so responsibility to take contaminated clothing that stated on your contract. They took my uncontaminated clothing for a check. During the process, I raised concerns about the condition of my clothing and asked for services to be stopped. However, additional items were still cleaned afterward. (Richard Swanson and Val Deperrio had a conversation about my dry clean and the gaslighting in that conversation was unprofessional). When the garments were returned, several items had changes that were not present before cleaning, including shrinkage, stiffness, discoloration, and blue streaking. Some items also had a strong soap or detergent odor. I was told certain garments were "unrecoverable," but I consulted with two independent textile and fire restoration professionals, both of whom noted observations consistent with improper or non-specialized processing. One also indicated that the reported turnaround time appeared inconsistent with standard industry practices. I also experienced inconsistent delivery practices after raising concerns. Deliveries were initially made to my address, later refused after I raised complaints (citing contamination concerns), and then deliveries resumed to that same address for my siblings garments. Thay took retaliatory practices against me. I did pay for the services but remain dissatisfied with the workmanship, communication, and how my concerns were handled and I'm following up with the AG offices (Attorney General) against them. Also try to Bill of $30,248 for the work they haven't done and they called it a mistake. I end paying $16,000 after they try to pull a fast one on me. After my experience, I personally would not trust this company with my garments again.

When I received Val's outrageous invoice for $1,349.09, I asked if I could cancel and just pick them up myself since I was paying out of pocket. I was told that it was too late, the work was done. I later received a phone call from the owner, Val, himself, who, in between expletives, screamed at me, said I was the reason they don't accept self-pay customers, called me a liar, said they actually hadn't cleaned my rugs, and he would have them delivered to me. My heart is racing recalling Val's rage-filled rant. He has sued numerous customers over non-payment. STAY FAR AWAY. I had the larger of these same rugs cleaned, including pick up and delivery, for $205.00 in December of 2024 by Boston Rug Cleaning.

He looked up my account in his computer, and basically told me I had not spent enough with his business in the past 4 years (since I started going) to warrent reimbursing me for the garment. Really? So if I had spent more on dry cleaning I'd have gotten reimbursed? I don't know. Like I said, I've never written a poor review and dislike doing so as I understand the impact it can have on a business. I was in a time crunch and couldn't explore other options or dispute the lack of quality of work, but I spent way too much for a job not well done. She said she couldn't take out more fabric because of the style of dress, but when I went to the wedding (swimming in the dress, mind you) I ran into a seamstress that was invited who ended up pinning my dress in the back and saying how easy of a fix it would have been. On top of it all, tailored outfits can only be paid in cash. I live in Georgia and had to fly in for the wedding and pick up my dress, and honestly forgot about this policy, but it doesn't really make sense since there is a sign that clear says "major credit cards accepted". She kindly took my card, but I could tell it was an issue. I don't think I'll be back- I definitely paid a lot for for adjustments that weren't made and excuses for not doing the work.
