The cake was spot on and tasted great! We got chocolate cake and cream cheese filling and butter cream frosting.

They did an awesome job on my cake, tasted great and looked exactly like my example photos!!

The lady at the front was super friendly and helpful. I wanted a slice of vanilla cake with buttercream but they were out. I ended up trying a slice of caramel cake and this banana boat pastry. Both were good but the cake was a tad dry. Their prices weren't bad. I still prefer Orland Park Bakery or Weber Bakery though.

Had the most incredible cake from Ace Bakery...the frosting is also SO GOOD! This was a cake that burnt away the top layer to reveal the words underneath, so insanely cool. Definitely recommend!!!

We picked up a gender reveal cake from this place and they put the identifying color at the top corner of the cake only. We had to butcher the cake to finally find the color. It's like they forgot to place the color and put it on the end last minute. I was extremely disappointed

The cake was insanely dry. Never had a cake this dry. I was very excited for the cake, this cake was designed perfect but does not taste good. Not worth the money I paid for.

Decadent, yet simple desserts. Fast and friendly service. You can order birthday cakes or cakes for events here. They accept EBT.

Gloria's 70th Birthday party with Cake from Ace Bakery

Ace made a custom cake for my 70th birthday party in 2019 that was a 7-0 shape. Not only was the cake beautiful and exactly what I wanted, it was delicious when the venue cut and served it to my 80 guests. I am getting ready to celebrate my 75th in April and will have Ace make another custom cake, this time in the same of "75"

If it was possible to give 6 stars I would because not only was the custom cake I ordered delicious but it was also beautiful. I've had other cakes with fondant that are pretty, but don't taste good and this cake blew any I've had in the past out of the water. The bakery was so accommodating and made it with four days notice and I couldn't be happier with the results. Highly recommend!

How... please tell me HOW ON EARTG this place has so few stars?! Adam and Edna ALONE ARE WORTH 5 STARS! Add in the low prices, great selection, and delicious flavors and you've got yourself a HIT! All of that and they accept EBT for those of us that can use a special treat! Adam was efficient polite and although not a sweets eater, had some great suggestive help from Edna! Thanks so much for a great experience

A perfectly decent place for brownies, cookies, cake slices, and whatever happens to be in the case, all offered at reasonable prices.

The cupcakes looked great. Frosting was gritty and cake was dry. I was disappointed! Wouldn't go back!

I didn't love the graham cracker because it had a strong buttery taste, but I get that it's needed to hold it together. Without that, it would've been a 9/10. The cheesecake topping tasted almost like custard and paired well with the blueberry cupcake base. Chocolate sea salt caramel... 10/10. This might actually be one of the best cupcakes I've ever had. Rich chocolate cake, caramel sauce in the middle, buttercream that wasn't too sweet, and the salt on top tied everything together perfectly. Peach cobbler was insane. 1000/10. It tasted like pumpkin pie and apple pie combined, probably from all the cinnamon. Not overly sweet, super light cream, and just perfection. Definitely worth the hype. The chocolate sea salt caramel and peach cobbler might actually be the best cupcakes I've ever had.

This is my absolute most favorite bakery. So this is my ode to the bakery and Dom, who is a gem of…read morean employee there. I've been a customer of almost 10 years and have been obsessed since they first opened their doors at a different location. I literally live an hour away without traffic and even longer with traffic, but I make sure to stop by or send someone else to get it for me at least once a month or more. I love the amazing cakes that are so delicious and unique but on top of that, it is Asian owned, LGBTQ supporting, etc. A lot has changed since their little storefront with no seating. The bakery is now a full on cafe and I'm so happy to see how much they've grown and how successful they are. And while it is glorious, I will say I miss the sweet neighborhood charm and great customer service it used to have. Getting in touch with the bakery through phone or text can be tough and to be honest, sometimes one of the people working there is kind of...very mean. It had me questioning if I should keep coming back. I just love this bakery so much though and being raised by parents that had a small food business, I can't help but want to support. I had a particularly difficult last minute request for the bakery a few weeks ago and I was reminded why this place is so great. It had been YEARS since I made this specific request, which was an order for a slice of cake for every flavor and a cupcake for every flavor. This is a BIG and time consuming request, especially if it's last minute. Unfortunately I come to the city whenever the traffic isn't atrocious, so it's always last minute. Dom absolutely pulled through though. Even though there were other employees there (I saw two others but one disappeared and then another male was kind of walking around the cafe and such), Dom took this giant request and fulfilled it himself. The other gentleman (not the mean person previously mentioned) was actually who I made the request to, but he told Dom to do it. I was kind of confused why they didn't do it together but idk, maybe the other guy isn't allowed to handle food? Who knows. Regardless, this request obviously took a long time and the line was getting longer; people were getting a little restless but Dom stayed calm but was swift. I swear he was moving faster than most people in the industry could with a cake knife like that. He was not impatient or rude to me at all. He was just there to do his job as fast and well as possible. It's so rare to see that type of work ethic. He is also so obviously proud of the bakery and the food they serve which makes you feel good about being a patron there. So although I continue to have an unpleasant experience with one particular employee there, Dom keeps my love for this bakery alive. He reminds me of what this bakery was like when they first opened their doors. I hope Dom is cherished there and I bet he is considering his work ethic. I will continue to support this bakery and I recommend everyone else to support as well. It may not be that small little shop anymore but Dom is a reminder of the heart of the place.

Candles that look like baked goods. Other adorable home knick knacks and books. I don't know how someone could go in and not feel their mood perk up. Ordering was easy and no-fuss. Super quick and also very nice to us even while our younger little was hopping some wiggles out. What we got: Quiche (the daily was a sausage and broccoli) - I don't think I have ever had a quiche this style before. It was so so good. Huge portion that can easily split between two people. The egg was so custardy. And the crust was so flaky. It was more like a puff pastry or amazingly buttery pie dough. I think any quiche they make would be delicious. Even our kid kept wanting more ... and that's with broccoli y'all! Surefire way to get a kid veggies is through this magical quiche. Get it. 11/10 -- highly recommend.

We were craving scones on a Saturday morning, and after some research landed on Bake. Most bakeries…read morewe've found have "a" scone, but Bake's online menu had multiples: three sweet and a savory. So off I went. There was no wait when I arrived around 8:30 am. I chose a blueberry scone and a cheddar and onion scone. I was a tiny bit disappointed they didn't have the lemon scone I saw in their online order page, but the fruity blueberry option fit the bill. I also ordered a cappuccino to go. Service was good, and I really appreciated being asked if I wanted separate bags for the scones, which ensured the blueberry scone didn't pick up any oniony smell or flavor from the other scone. The scones were excellent! Massive in size, they had a nice tender and crumbly texture, as well as plenty of fillings (so to speak). The cappuccino was fine, not as smooth as I like, but the terrific scones made it well worth the trip. The space is well laid out with multiple tables. None were taken at the time, as people were getting to go orders instead. I thought prices were reasonable: each scone was $5, which seemed fair given how large and high quality they were (not to mention the higher prices I'm seeing in some newer bakeries in the area). Other offerings looked good, too, but this is definitely the place to go if you're craving scones.
