Painful and Frustrating I too like Richard, Erin,and Karla regret this. I hired Ron based solely on the recommendation of my realtor, who I held in extremely high regard!!! This was a mistake! I found Ron personable, generally responsive, and seemingly well intentioned . HOWEVER, the work was anything but accurate! Ron hires low skilled, unprofessional, lazy, labor and then poorly manages them while juggling between multiple projects. Ron HIMSELF is not proactive at identifying potential issues, problem-solving, cuts before measuring, is not detail oriented, nor seems to take any pride in his work. This all led to subpar work, rework, and cost overruns. We have been struggling to get to the end of a reno of a fixer-upper that we THOUGHT would be a good investment. After paying Ron ~$30k, we are now hiring someone else to fix many problems with Ron's work and much of the work left unfinished. -Ron didn't bother leveling the subfloor. our floors are like a roller coaster. The boards are moving and coming apart. Baseboard and trim are missing in many areas with visible end cuts. -Our "new" roof has pooling water -The paint job consists of multiple different sheens all over our walls and ceiling. The spackling and prep work was horrible. Every light, door knob, hinge and outlet has paint on it. -Never reconnected the smoke/co2 detectors to our new electrical panel (extremely egregious putting our safety in danger) -redid the bathroom putting the new floor over the loose existing tiles and rotting subfloor with a HUGE transition strip/trip hazard. -our yard is destroyed from ron driving his truck over the grass I could go on but the photos speak for themselves. I think the last straw was trying to charge us extra for things that are clearly stated in the base estimate and even after pointing out issues his fixes are also poorly executed. We are on day 90+ of what was supposed to be a 45-60 day renovation. TRULY DISAPPOINTING!! UPDATE: Today we came home to water everywhere. The 2nd floor plumbing work Ron had done leaked all over the first floor. Our ceilings are flooded. AVOID!! read more

Horrible overall services rendered. Like Karla C., I regret the mistake of hiring this contractor which was a referral. Ron does not manage the work done by his subordinates/crew. I spent $40K to this subpar performing contractor to renovate my property. Financial mistake in the fact that I had to hire another contractor to CORRECT everything. Paint job, flooring job, carpeting laying was horrible. I have photos as proof. The quality of work was so poor that I fired the realtor that referred this subpar performing contractor. I would HIGHLY recommend to DO NOT consider doing business with this contractor. The subpar services and lack of true customer focus is criminal. Accurate Home Remodeling did a terrible job at my home. Pictures are posted. Bad paint, bad flooring, bad electric. They did not make good on any of the work or wasted money. They did a great job. I've been having this roof leak for some time. The original company that did the work years ago said the work they did was fine so it didn't trigger the warranty. But my roof was still leaking. A few other contractors took a look but couldn't figure out the problem. Accurate came to assess. Thought they found the problem and did the work. The roof leaked again at the next rain. But here's where Accurate set themselves as heads and tails above the rest. They came right back out the day after the rain and worked until they found the problem! They fixed one more thing- no charge and I have not had a leak since! Years of frustration, and almost giving up. I should have called them sooner. I checked them out on the BBB. Read reviews wherever I could find them. Even still I know you're always taking a chance with any contractor. I was not disappointed this time. I WILL be using them again!!! read more

I made the unfortunate mistake of hiring Ron F. to build a deck for me. From the initial conversation, a product was presented that SOUNDED like it would be a great addition to my home. In reality, there were so many areas that had to be pointed out to him for correction. For one, Ron allegedly does not communicate to the third party people who complete the work. Secondly, he becomes very defensive when things are pointed out to him that need to be corrected and then doesn't show up to complete or check that the errors have been corrected. He then avoids your calls and provides excuses as to when he's able to address the concerns. My deck was built in the summer and I wasn't able to enjoy it because it was uneven, had pointy nails sticking out of many spots, sloppy wood glue poured into holes, poor spacing of the slats, and splitting wood. Although the deck was inspected by a master inspector and deemed structurally sound, it was noted that many of the areas of concern were in the area of craftmanship. If you are looking for a contractor, who is semi-avoidant and unresponsive when there are problems with his product, then this is your company. read more

So I'm in search of a reliable contractor to spruce up my kitchen a bit. I always depend on fellow Yelpers to steer me in the right the direction, so I completed a search and found this company at the top of the list for kitchen remodel contractors. Pretty excited after reading the reviews, I requested an online quote. Supposedly, they respond in about 5 hours, but to expect that would be extreme, so I gave them 48 hours. No response. Maybe there was a technical issue with the company receiving Yelp messages, so I submitted a 2nd request, using the company's website instead. Per their website, they respond in 24-48 hours. I waited 3 days. No response. But did I quit? No, because fellow Yelpers said these guys were awesome, so I definitely wanted in. This time I called. No answer, so I left a detailed message. It's been 5 days. Still no response. Maybe these guys really are that great and they are so busy that they can't return phone calls or respond to email, but in reality, if they're that busy, I don't want to use them for my project. .How annoying would it be to not be able to get in touch with a contractor after a deposit has been paid and work has been started?? While this scenario may be a great storyline for an HGTV Home Improvement show, it would more like a pain in the arse for me. read more
