Jon suggested that we install a French drain to protect our investment. Jons team took on the job and fixed our water problem. Once the water problem was fixed they got right to work doing all the framing electrical and plumbing. Attention to detail was amazing they even uncovered a small hole in our sewer line that they fixed free of charge. Jon was great at communicating what needed done and any issues that came up. Jon and his company came in and made many suggestions on how to refine our ideas about constructing our dream basement. We had originally had an open ceiling concept but Jon showed us an idea to close off the ceiling and put mushroom boards from old Pennsylvanian barns as ceiling beams. Jon and his crew built the ceiling beams from scratch and case the interior of the beams with sturdy studs. Jon suggested the place where we could buy those murshroom boards. Jon also help us envision our space and add some very cool concepts like closing off our sub-pump room in a very unique way. Everyone that comes to our basement wants to know what's behind that small curious door. Jon also help us create a wonderful half bath that just pops with cloth wall paper, a large cooper sink and quartz countertop. Jon actual helps us find a reasonable quartz countertop company that saved us hundreds of dollars. Jon help us lay out the complete concept for our basement and helps us put together some very nice touches such as barn boards for our Windowsill and barn doors for our half bath and larger closet. Jon also suggested dual sliding doors to close off our utility room as a great alternative. Ambler Contracting did all the work from plumbing, electrical, flooring, framing, dry walling, paint and adding very nice touches such as ceiling beams, barn doors, brick wall and lights that were embedded into the ceiling and allowed for a very open and clean look for the entire downstairs.
