We called Mark for the estimate, and he was so patience, polite, professional, and moreover wasn't pushy at all.

It really saved me some time here - all the other reviews state everything I would say, as well as Mark is very knowledgeable regarding older homes too! You can't go wrong with Mark and his team. read more

Mark and his team came to install a pull-down attic staircase in tight quarters. They found a creative workaround when the staircase didn't quite unfold within the small closet. Somehow the ceiling fan in the next room stopped working, and Mark Jr. came the next day to fix it up. Great, prompt service. Would definitely recommend! read more

I am floored at the superior experience that Mark Lesser has provided. We were looking to have our unfinished basement turned into an additional sitting room with a half bath, and of all the contractors we met with, Mark was the only one who provided a very clear plan and had confidence that he could meet all of our needs. That was the first part that made us feel good about our decision to go with Mark. Then, as time went on and we were planning on having him start work, we found mark to be extremely communicative and quick to respond to any questions or followups we had - this is actually a rare quality. So, again, we felt good about this. When Make and his crew showed up on time to start work, they were all friendly, and seemed respectful of our home and of the fact that we work from home while they were in the basement doing work. The whole crew seemed like good people and they all provided quality work. They all showed up on time every day, and when the work was done - they made sure to clean up properly. They were efficient: I asked mark on day 1 how long he expected the job to take. He estimated three weeks. They got the work done in 1.5 weeks. That was yet another really good thing to see. Finally - the finished basement looks and feels amazing. The drywalls, the lights, the bathroom, the flooring, everything just feels so professionally done. I consider what I paid to be an amazing value when compared to the work they did. It's hard to find a general contractor who you can trust to check off all the boxes. Mark Lesser checked off boxes we didn't even know existed. You should consider him for any projects you have - I know he's going to be the first call I make if I ever want to tackle another home project like this again. read more

Can't say enough good things about Mark and his team. Great response time, quick and accurate estimate, and a huge help through the entire process. We hired Mark to turn two bedrooms and a sitting room into our master suite with a full bathroom en suite, along with a walk through closet. Mark gave us exactly what we wanted and then some at a fair price. Adding a full bath where there wasnt plumbing was no simple task but Mark understood what we wanted and executed a plan to get it done, and get it done by the time we were ready to move in! He helped us with permits, laying out the spaces, and with his suggestion of going just a little smaller on our shower (which still wound up being huge) we were able to get the upstairs laundry that we had wanted. He was incredibly helpful at every step of the way and was able to explain things in ways we were able to understand. Great communication, great response time, and really does great work. Really lucky to have found Mark and definitely plan on using him again in the future to do other projects in our new home. read more

I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT MARK AND HIS SON!!! Hands down the BEST experience of my life with contracting! We had a huge projector to get done in a little amount of time! We bought a new home and needed a new master suite. Mark and his son came in and make it happen! Mark was so patient with me and my uncertainties and questions. The outcome was better then we had hoped! Will continue to use Mark and pass on business! Wonderful people wonderful work! read more

Found Mark on Yelp and was able to schedule consultation in a couple days despite Yelp showing that I'm out of his service area. He gave good feedback on the vision we had for the bathroom and that really helped us. Price was reasonable for the quality work. His team of 3 plus plumber worked efficiently and finished the project right on schedule - 7 business days. And the finishing touches were great too - we have a very old bathroom a lot of the small areas needed touch up and he did it for us, added sealer to the stone work without being requested. The whole experience was non stressful. He's very easy to work w - highly recommended read more

Let's start at the beginning. If like me, you're searching Yelp for a contractor in Bensalem, I can tell you the only one to return my call was Mark Lesser. Not only were the other contractors not at all responsive, Mark was incredibly responsive to all my questions and concerns. Normally I would be concerned about only getting a single quote, from a single contractor. However, after meeting with Mark, I felt very comfortable going with him. Fortunately, it turned out that my intuitions were correct. He showed up when he said he would show up, he was always on time and communicative, the job got done when he said it would get done, and most of all, the room he constructed for me in my basement looks fantastic. If you're looking for a contractor, start with Mark. read more

Mark has done many jobs at my home, ranging from closet building to a full kitchen renovation. It is rare to find a contractor who you trust to be in your home when you aren't there and who you feel confident to do the job right; but Mark is this contractor. Mark recently finished our kitchen renovation which included everything from tiling the floor to installing cabinets with crown molding. Everything is better than we could have imagined and was finished very quickly and for a fair price. He is professional, extremely knowledgeable, and his work is outstanding. Mark and his team did a fantastic job. They showed up right on time and worked fast and smoothly. I hired this company to build a bedroom, bathroom, and add new floor to my basement. He was extremely professional, answered any questions we had, responded promptly and performed quality work. He was consistently on time when coming to the house and was very respectful of/worked within our schedule. Even though construction was being done on the house, Mark made the process easy. There was no stress--and I was 8 months pregnant during the work! The basement was even completed slightly ahead of schedule. Mark provided us a modern day renovation with good old fashioned service. You could tell that Mark takes pride in his family business, his reputation and the work that he performs in the community. We would use him again for any other renovation needs and have already recommended him to friends in the area looking to renovate. read more
