John and his team did an excellent job and were incredibly fast. They started at 7:30 and they were finished, including cleanup by 1:30 PM. They even completed the HOA paperwork. Ashley in the office was very accommodating as well. I highly recommend them. R Cherry read more

A neighbor referred me to John and even though I had a smaller roof to replace, I felt like John personally made sure my project got done right from the beginning. They are detail oriented, organized and very responsive communicating. The crew were fast and professional, and John did a final clean up of the house himself after the new roof and gutters were installed. That kind of caring about your work and professionalism is very refreshing. And their prices are very good too! read more

John and his crew do excellent work at very fair prices. I first met John in 2021 to get a roof estimate and he advised waiting (if the roof wasn't leaking), since the price of wood was crazy right after Covid. That told me right there I found an honest roofing company. Fast forward to 2025, I decided it was definitely time to replace my 33+ year old roof and reached out to John again. His estimate was about half the estimate I got from a national home improvement company. The estimate consisted of a complete roof tear-off of the house and 2 car garage, new soffits and fascia, new siding on one side of the house, and new larger 6K seamless gutters. I was happy that I didn't have to pay any deposits upfront. John broke the project down into several stages (roof, fascia/siding/soffits, and gutters), to be done on separate days as the various ordered materials came in. No money was needed until the day the crew showed up to start the work for that particular job. So I made an initial, partial payment when they came to do the roofing, followed by another payment when the roofing work was completed. John brought a large crew to do the roofing. They worked very efficiently. Despite having to replace a fair number of bad roof sheets, they completed all the roofing work in a single day. That included cutting into the house and garage roofs to add ridge ventilation, removing 2 passive roof vents, reflashing 2 chimneys, rehabbing the plumbing stack pipe, and adding a new bathroom exhaust vent plus rehabbing an existing one. The fascia/siding/soffit work went just as efficiently, also being done in a separate, single day, and it looks great! I wasn't sure if I really wanted to add to the total project cost by replacing all the soffit material, but I'm really glad I took John's advice to do it at the same time as all the other work as it really "pops" the appearance of the house and garage. Like the roof work, a partial payment was made when the crew showed up, and a final payment was made after completion. The final job was the gutters and that was also executed efficiently by a 2 person crew, taking about half a day, with the same payment arrangements. All in all, the work was executed well and I'm 110% pleased with the final results. I smile every time I look at it. To be honest, I'm pretty particular about certain things I wanted done to the roof, siding, etc. and John was quite helpful pointing me in the right direction and providing good advice, particularly with improving the roof's ventilation and replacing the soffits. I'm glad I found Economic Roofing and would highly recommend them to others without hesitation. read more

A person in the company truck ran me me off the road. He almost hit me with the truck and jumped in front of me after being in the wrong lane. He was in the right turn lane and decided to go straight but ran me off the road in the process! I dont know about you, but I dont ever want to do business with someone who runs people of off the road. He was driving reckless, speeding, and it was a very dangerous situation. A second company truck rode my bumper and then sped around me as well. They both sped off before I coud call the police. No amount of money in the world would make me do business with these people. Stay away! HORRIBLE COMPANY! read more

Mr. Cho and his crew were extremely customer service oriented, punctual, technical, and we couldn't be happier with our new roof, siding, and gutters. I obtained multiple quotes from different contractors, but I knew Mr. Cho was the contractor we were going to hire as soon as he left from the initial visit. His wealth of knowledge and experience from working with insurance companies, county inspectors, and homeowners was displayed on his initial visit to my home. He walked me through the current deficiencies on my home and discussed a detailed plan on how he would fix each problem and told me I would have a quote in a few days after he calculated the detailed measurements. Mr. Cho followed through on his word and answered every question I had for him during the process. He assisted in obtaining the exact materials we were looking for from outside vendors as well. Mr. Cho was on site everyday working with his crew to ensure everything was being installed correctly and to our satisfaction. All debris was collected in a timely manner and you would have never known they were here with how clean they left the property. All of his work is guaranteed for 10 years and the price was the best we found for what we were looking for after comparing multiple quotes, ratings, and customer service. You will be extremely satisfied if you choose to have Mr. Cho work on your home. Thank you for your amazing and professional work! I highly recommend Economic Construction! read more

We just had our roof replaced by Economic Roofing and had a good experience. John did the estimate for our house and our neighbor's house. The price is cheaper than the other quotes that we got and covers pretty much the same thing, so we went with them. The scheduling is pretty straight forward, they prepared all the forms for us to be approved by our HOA and once it's done, they are able to fit us within the week. Originally, it was to be done on a Friday, but the weather is too hot and John talked to us to reschedule to the next day for better installation. They have a pretty big crew and arrived early in the morning and everyone works non stop and efficiently and were done by early afternoon. Once done, they cleaned up everything and put all everything back to where they are and the new roof looks really good. Highly recommended. read more

We just had our roof replaced by Economic Roofing and wanted to share how pleased we are by the work they did. John Cho and his team did a great job detailing the work the would do, pointing out some of the trouble spots from our old roof (flashing, sky-light, misaligned sheathing, ...) and how they would remediate these issues. 100% recommend calling them to get a quote (great price, great professionalism, great quality), and hiring them to do the replacement ... they replaced our roof in a single day and did a thorough job protecting the landscaping and cleaning up afterwards. Awesome job by the entire crew ! read more

This is my 2nd time working with John and Economic Roofing. From the job quote, to the time the it was finished was super quick. The team was meticulous and clean. I had a flat roof repaired, a chimney capped and sealed and other touch up work done. I'm pleased with the cost and the final product. I'll definitely call Mr. Cho again if I need roof work in the future. Thanks again. read more

When we called John for an estimate he came to our place and did a thorough inspection of our roof. He showed us where the problems were and what he could do about it. He earned our trust instantly, and with his competitive offer, all we needed to do next was to get our neighbor onboard (he did!) and pick up a date. John has an amazing crew. His secretary, Ashley, took care of all the paperwork and responded to all our questions quickly during the process. On the day of the job, man, he brought a whole army! There were at least 20 people, with all kinds of trucks and tools, waiting outside of our place in the early morning (before 7am). They quickly dismantled the old roof and put in the new one and cleaned up the whole area by 4pm. They finished the job of two properties in one day, with plenty of time left. I think John is a great leader, given how smoothly his crew worked together. He is also very attentive to feedback from customers and is detail-oriented. I mentioned to him the noise of the newly installed fan. He took a stair and went up the roof and re-installed it by himself. The noise is gone and the fan has been working quietly even during the recent storm. I am truly impressed. John is very much down-to-earth and he gets the job done timely and with high quality. I highly recommend him if you are considering replacing your roof. read more

Economic Roofing, Inc. replaced our 25-year-old in February 2023, as required by a prospective new homeowner's insurance carrier. We are extremely pleased with the customer service, quality craftsmanship, and professionalism we received from Economic Roofing, Inc. throughout the entire process. John Cho, the General Manager, returned our call the same day (a Saturday) and was out to our property in two hours to take measurements. He explained the process, materials, options (shingle grade and underlayment), and his approach in easy-to-understand language, answered our questions honestly, and didn't try to steer us toward more expensive choices. He discussed how he would handle anything he might find once he removed the old roof and what that would cost. At no time did we feel rushed or manipulated into making a decision. As promised, we received a quote in less than 24 hours (on a Sunday), which we accepted that same day. After he applied for and received the permit the next day, he scheduled the job for the following Saturday (one week from initial contact) and the materials were delivered the day before. A crew of 12 arrived at 7AM on "Roof Day," including John and his foreman, Patrick. Before beginning, they placed tarps to protect the house and landscaping, and moved the grill and patio furniture to a safe location. Everything was completed within 4 hours after arrival and looks great. When one area needed a small repair afterwards, John took care of it promptly. We give an enthusiastic "thumbs up" and a letter grade of A+ to Economic Roofing, Inc., and would highly recommend the company to our neighbors and friends. read more

We reached out to John Cho from Economic Roofing after being recommended by our daughter's neighbor. Mr. Cho responded immediately and arranged to come to our house the next day. Of all the roofing companies we reached out to, Mr. Cho was the only one to go up on our roof and measure it and to check the stability of the roof decking. Mr. Cho told us that the decking felt weak, and we would probably need to replace some if not all of the decking. Mr. Cho spent as long as we needed explaining in detail what the project would entail, he answered all our questions in depth. Mr. Cho gave the estimate to us the next day, which was considerably less than the other estimates we received. We contacted Mr. Cho and told him to arrange for the permit and let us know when he could begin work. Mr. Cho told us his crew would be on site at 7:00 AM on the day we're going to have the roof installed. At 7:00 AM Mr. Cho's crew was on the roof ready to start work placing tarps around the house to protect our landscaping, lawn and home. Mr. Cho's crew and Forman Patrick were professional and worked diligently and efficiently and completed the task in one day. After the job was finished Mr. Cho and his crew spent a considerable amount of time cleaning up and running magnets over our lawn and driveway to pick up any nails or other debris. We could not be more pleased with Mr. Cho's care and customer service throughout the experience. read more

We recently had our roofing/gutters/fascia done by Economic Roofing. We are extremely pleased with the job they did!! They were professional, on time, listened to all our questions and requests. They did a great job with the clean up after the job was done too. Mr. Cho is very quick to respond and is a great communicator. I had obtained multiple quotes from different contractors in the area and economic roofing was the most reasonable. Mr. cho has extensive knowledge in regards to Roofing/gutters and came to check on the progress frequently. We highly recommend economic roofing/constructions. read more

The landlord hired them for an insurance job to repair siding and gutter. They didn't show on the promised day, then showed up unannounced a few days later. Calling ahead was in the agreement because tenants need advance notice. Turned into a 3-ring circus: no permit; not licensed; dog went insane, common driveway blocked and none of them spoke English. That's when the Township inspector showed up .... Need a low-bid contractor to do a job on the down-lo? Call 'em up. Want professionals who will respect your tenants and neighbors? I don't give out reviews, bad or good, lightly because I know the impact they can have on a business but it is without hesitation that I feel I must take the time to give an excellent review of Economic Construction. John Cho and his crew are absolutely THE BEST. For the last 18 years, I've owned a Home Staging Company, so I am quite familiar with recommending and working with contractors. This time, it was for myself as the August 4th tornado blew through our neighborhood and took our roof and gutters with it. In my business, I have referred other contractors to my clients but when I personally needed them, they were so busy, they couldn't be bothered coming out and used a drone program to quote our job. NOT JOHN and he did not know me. He came right out, spent an extraordinary amount of time with my husband and me and answered every question. His timely, professional proposal included details about everything he was going to do and his prices were excellent. Although, as soon as he left, we knew who we were hiring and as the work was completed today, we knew we made the absolute best decision. Our roof and gutters look amazing and they cleaned up so beautifully, it looks like they were never there. John immediately answered every text, call and email and his crew was very qualified, professional and meticulous. For roofing, for stucco remediation, for whatever service they can perform, I will only use and recommend my clients use John Cho and his crew at Economic Construction. They made a difficult situation painless and we couldn't be happier with the results. read more
