Don't use All States Roofing Contractors. You will regret it!!! They recommended installing a new scupper drain box to fix a roof leak. The owner then left the country and sent his father to do the work. Afterward, I received a call from a third party claiming to be the contractor, threatening to remove the scupper unless payment was made immediately -- completely unacceptable and alarming. The repair failed. I still have active water intrusion, and it has caused interior damage to my home. This company showed a serious lack of professionalism, oversight, and accountability. The workmanship did not resolve the problem, and the billing tactics were concerning. Homeowners - proceed with extreme caution! Verify who is performing the work, how payments are handled, and whether the company is operating to proper standards. ----------------------------- Your response contains multiple inaccuracies ... First, your claim that you "tried calling me multiple times" is false. You never called me. I have no missed calls, voicemails, or call logs from you after the work. What I do have is a saved voicemail left on 4/11/25, immediately after the work was performed. Second, your statement about nonpayment is also false. I paid a deposit on 4/04/25 and made final payment on 4/18/25. Both payments were made by credit card, and I have full documentation proving this. At no point was payment withheld "for over a month," and suggesting otherwise is simply untrue. Third, the call threatening to remove the scupper came from a third party claiming to be associated with you, and it occurred after the work was completed and while payment had already been made. Regardless of how you now characterize it, that call was inappropriate and alarming, and it happened under your company's name. Finally, the scupper installation you recommended did not resolve the leak. I continue to have water intrusion, and it has caused interior damage. Shifting blame to "the rest of the roof" does not change the fact that the specific repair you proposed and performed failed to correct the issue it was meant to fix. I am stating verifiable facts, supported by payment records and saved voicemail evidence. Any implication that I am misrepresenting events is incorrect. Artem is an exceptionally professional craftsman, whose obsessive attention to every detail makes him the best roofer out there. He turned my dilapidated mid-century modern Into a work of art. All four roofs were crumbling. He quoted me a very reasonable price, And as we went through the process of replacing the roof, he gave me options about replacing other things that they found. Artem ended up replacing all the roofs, built a roof deck on one of them and constructed the door that led into the house. He also built an apartment in our unfinished garage with a custom staircase, going up to a trap door that he cut into the floor he designed, and then installed a custom-made oak hatch that provides access to the finished space below. He was very good at both executing the job and working with me to create a bigger vision for the house. His team of veteran roofers were efficient, polite, and worked well under Artem's direction. While Artem is a great roofer, he also has a broad range of skills that make him invaluable for other projects. I found them under Yelp projects and they replied quickly. I just purchased a home and the Philly Skylight needed to be replaced. Artem came out for the estimate and the pricing for the replacement seemed fair. He walked me through the service process and today I am happy to have a working skylight that let's so much light in and let's the bathroom breathe. His crew was efficient and I was shown the work through photos throughout. They cleaned up and took the old skylight as well. Bonus : I'm on a reminder to keep my roof in good condition. Artem, the owner of the company did a great job throughout the whole process. Communicative throughout the process. My roof has been leaking for many years and no one seems to figure out what was going on. He came and gave me a free estimate after diagnosing the issue. The price was fair. So, I gave him a 50% deposit and the job was completed about 2 weeks later. He removed the old scupper box, installed a new one and replaced the down spout. I have an HOA so the gutters have to be painted with a specific color, brand from a specific retailer. They had the gutters and downspout painted nicely and they were done quickly. I ended up going back to All States Roofing after choosing to go with a different contractor who destroyed my roof further. All States Roofing replaced my entire flat roof after removing the prior two layers and checking the baseboards for rot. They were VERY thorough and replaced the underlying structural components while other competitors were offering to simply slap another layer on at almost double the cost. Amazing value with All States Roofing. Artem is an honest man, it was a pleasure dealing with him. He kept me informed through the entire process, showed all legal and insurance credentials, and stuck to the price agreed. Even included removal of debris and trash.
