My wife and I decided to upgrade a full bath on the second floor of our home. We considerd several alernatives including me doing most of the work, I am capable of doing the upgrade. While considering our alternatives we came across Diamond K & B. Our initial impression was a good one, as our first contact was Nick our designer and architect. His presentation, communication and creativity skills are outstanding. While discussing our plans Nick di an exellent job with pointing out our options, without being pushy. He gave us our options and gave up plenty of time t determine what we wanted to do. We had an initial "needs" discussion followed by review of the proposed design an options. During te proposal review Nick saw a way to increase the amount of storage space while maximizing space in the new bath. Nick proposed we remove a closet and install a cabient. His suggestio proved to be very elpful becuase it meet our requirements for storage, space and of course looks. Next, it is very appropriate to discuss workmenship and professionalism. The men who came out to our home to install our bath I believe they are best described as craftsmen, and not workers. Not only did the do excellent work but they also conducted themselves as true gentlemen and always maintained a presence of a professional who would go to any length to do the job the "right" way. In addition to the excellent quality of work they also made certain their work area was keep clean and they aso showed respect for our home. Our project was not without an occasional issue. But in all cases those issues were resolved in a timely fashion and always with an eye to eep me informed. A great example of this was a medicine cabient where the design of the cabient finish was not done properly. This was discovered after installation, our call for help went to Diamond who came out, looked and agreed something needed to be done. The excellent part came when they also noticed a door on the linen closet was not right. Diamond noticd this, took the iniiative to replace and fi the issue at no cost to me. Both the medicine closet an door were reordered from the manufacturer and installed without incident or delays. We had Diamond kitchen and Bath remodel our master bath in 2011 at the cost of $23,000. It took several months to complete, while we were told it would be a few weeks. But the floor tile in two doorways have cracked and have been replaced four times in two years by the company. Obviously, the sub floor was not secured properly. Now, they want to tear the ceiling apart in the family room and kitchen below, so that they could charge me over $2900 to brace the subfloor from below, stating that the problem is not with their installation, but the structure of the house. We had a building inspector and two contractors tell us that the original installation is faulty. I plan on contacting an attorney to recoup the cost of having Diamond reimburse me for the repair. Unfortunately all the bathroom cabinets and custom closet organizer will need to be removed, the tile floor and in-floor heating removed, a self leveling floor installed and new tile replaced. The original dye lot of the tiles is not available. In fact, the last few tiles that Diamond used on the fourth repair are different dye lots. Diamond does not follow through on their promises to contact you or return calls. Use them at your own risk. read more

I have used Diamond for four projects in my home. They have completely renovated two full baths and turned a kitchen and enjoining small den into a large kitchen area. Work was done on a timely fashion, project manager kept us aware of timeline expectations and I was made aware of any minor delays. Materials purchased and craftsmanship were both superior. This is one contractor that works by the book. No up front payments in full for projects that have not been started. A preset scheduled payment plan broken into 5 payments of 20% each before, during and at completion of projects gave me the comfort I was working with a first class business that was only interested in my complete satisfaction. One year after bathroom completion, I broke a shower component that was replaced by Diamond as a courtesy! This business was recommended to me by many neighbors who had jobs completed in their homes prior to mine. They even laid a beautiful flooring in my living and dining room after completion of my gorgeous kitchen and baths. I have since referred Diamond K & B for both small and larger projects. We first had our kitchen updated and were so thrilled with the results, that we had them come back to update our master bathroom. Diamond's staff is extremely professional and attentive. Our project manager was Nick......incredible! All our questions and concerns were addressed within 24 hours and usually sooner. My husband and I work full-time and never felt uneasy leaving our home unsupervised. The workers always took special care to cover our carpeting and furniture and would leave our house spotless at the end of each day. There is always going to be an issue with any project. I contacted Diamond K&B 2 years ago to renovate my master bath. I met with Nick, a designer at Diamond. He listened to my needs and proposed a design I was happy with. The end results were outstanding. Recently, I needed my kitchen/powder room/laundry areas updated. Again I contacted Nick. My kitchen was dark and outdated and not functional. I needed more storage in both the kitchen and laundry areas. Diamond rose to the occasion. I now have a light and modern kitchen, laundry and updated powder room. New flooring was also installed in the entry and dining room. The job was completed in a timely manner, the workmen were professional. I would highly recommend Diamond K&B - 5 stars! Diamond Kitchen & Bath renovated my kitchen and entire first floor. There isn't a day that I don't walk into my kitchen saying "I love my new kitchen." The associate Kevin designed the layout of my kitchen, removing walls, constructing half walls and helped me coordinate all that went into my kitchen including cabinets, hard wood floors, granite countertop. My plumbing had to be relocated and the lighting changed. The contractors were clean and efficient. I have never had a problem with follow up or contacting them.
