    OME 2.5" lift
    Buck W.

They set me up with a full OME suspension kit on my 1998 XJ Cherokee. Made it clear if I was going to spend that much on the kit, that I wanted it as level as possible (a lot of folks having issues getting the leaf springs on the OME XJ kits to sit level). They managed to get it perfectly level after a bit of settling. Not sure what they're doing that the folks on all the cherokee forums aren't, but it looks absolutely perfect. Exactly 2.5" of lift, which is what OME states you should get. The part markup is very minimal, and it's clear they know their way around an XJ. Let me know all of the potential complications up front and (mercifully) didn't run into any of them. No wobble, either. Great folks, took their time to explain everything and walk me through the parts needed. Provided a detailed invoice. Very fair prices on the parts and labor, and very experienced. I'm going to take my XJ there for everything I can.

John was super helpful with answering all and any questions I had and getting me scheduled in. I also met and chatted with the guys that worked on my truck. SUPER cool guys. I would mention their names if it weren't for my small brain forgetting them. I took in my Jeep Gladiator to get a 3/4 inch leveling kit installed to make up for lost weight from winch and steel bumper. It was just a very pleasant experience. I am definitely going back to them for any future mods or adds to the rig. Big thanks to the guys that helped me out and to those that worked on my rig!

A year ago I needed my '06 Rubicon lifted - gave Patrick a very high price point cuz I wanted the best (I actually use my Jeep for it's intended purpose). One year later I've had to have the stabilizers replaced and just recently had to have the shocks replaced with the high performance Ranchos I was supposed to have to begin with. What I paid ($6,000!) for and what I got are two very different things. I've never gotten the itemization for the work/parts I asked for several times either. There have been multiple issues with the lift - all due to truly crappy equipment. But Patrick was happy to massively overcharge me. I'm so pissed after this last expenditure of new shocks, I guess that was the straw that broke the camel's back. If you're like me - don't know enough about accessories you need for your off-road ride - don't go to Accessory Outfitters. I had to trust Patrick was doing right by me - he didn't by a long shot. Hope they enjoyed the snickers they no doubt had while happily cashing my check. But at least I've learned - although it was expensive as hell. There are some amazing off-road outfitters around. A/O is DEFINITELY not one of them.

Just had my Gobi roof rack installed with lights installed. It looks awesome I love it! I will have more work done here. They have great mechanics. Next will be a hitch and diff breathers for both front and rear. Will also need more armor plating.

Promises broken, took a lot longer to get truck done then they said and ultimately a lot of mistakes were made.

After sending the VIN out to a handful of shops, Dean was one of few who responded, had worked on the vehicle, and was able to clear up some details. Since then, I've chosen Futrell as my go-to for routine and incidental maintenance. I especially appreciate their transparency, which is the most important aspect of interaction with a business for me. For more basic stuff, I prefer to do some of my own maintenance. In one case, there was an aspect of routine maintenance that we hadn't discussed when I dropped my vehicle off. Megan called to discuss that with me before the work was executed, giving me agency in whether or not I would handle that aspect of the service myself - something I really appreciated. In another case, I was dealing with a dying Turbo. Megan was very responsive in getting me an estimate and, since timing was a critical component of my decision making process, outlined projected timelines / availability for the repair. Megan wound up referring me to another shop across town that was able to get me back on the road sooner. I've previously dealt with other shops that try to secure paying work by telling the customer what they want to hear while failing to meet those expectations, the team at Futrell are looking out for what's in their clients' best interests and for that they have my loyalty.

I was worried about getting a foreign car part before the tariffs kicked in but they went the extra mile and quickly ordered the part for me. They gave me a quote for the work and a time frame necessary for the repair. They not only met the time frame but the work came in lower priced than quoted. I was given wonderful personal service. I got a tour of the shop and I'm in awe. Thank you Meghan! Their lobby and waiting room reflect their passions for unusual guitars, skateboards, and Star Wars memorabilia. I would say that German made cars are their biggest passion. My car works like a charm as they went over and above with extra tasks that a car this old needed. I will never go to the dealer again. Futrell's has a customer for life as this is my forever car.

Finding a…read morecar repair shop you can trust when moving to a new city across the country is more stressful than finding a new doctor! I considered going to the Subaru dealer in Beaverton but I gravitated to Brock Automotive because of their stellar, glowing reviews. Glad I did. First, scheduling online is easy and they text you confirmations and reminders. They also respond to texts quickly and efficiently. Note that you will likely need to drop off your vehicle as they are very busy - another good sign! - and though I needed to leave my Subaru overnight, the repairs were done in a reasonable amount of time for the services required. What I also like is their system of 'needs attention, could wait, and doesn't need work' that is color-coded on their estimate sheet by Red, Yellow, and Green; as well the costs for the repairs are clear on that sheet. You can then decide what you want done, approve it, and they will begin the work on your car. My estimate is just what I paid, so zero surprises. Immediately walking in to their shop office, I was greeted cheerily and nicely by Coy--I felt comfortable and relaxed. Picking up my car, I was greeted by an owner, who was equally as cheerful and nice. My car was waiting for me right out front when I exited the office - everything was clean just as I'd left it. Mistakes happen but good establishments own up to it and take care of their customer. I recently took my 2010 Porsche 911 to them for a simple oil change and brake fluid flush. The first error was that they overfilled the oil which they were good about fixing with a drain and refill. But the tech who tried to fix it forgot to put a crush washer on the plug and I was leaking oil from my drain plug. I got it rectified at a different shop that found that the crush washer was missing and I had to redo the oil change. The general manager Mark and the owner's son James were fair and honest and refunded me a portion of my bill and gave me the assurance it wouldn't happen again and that they would personally oversee things if I were to get the service done again with them. To be completely honest I wasn't expecting a mistake like this for a simple oil change but mistakes happen in business it's about how you react to it.

I contacted this shop to request my service records and was told they do not keep records of customer vehicles, parts ordered or the work performed. That alone is alarming. Even after I provided my vehicle information, service date, how long the car was in the shop, what was done, and my payment method, I was told nothing could be provided. When I asked for clarification, the owner's son got on the phone and immediately shifted the blame onto me, saying I should have requested to be entered into their system something that was never communicated at any point. The conversation quickly turned dismissive and unprofessional, with no effort made to actually resolve the issue. I chose this shop based on its high ratings and was told I was being "taken care of." That could not have been further from the truth. A business that can't provide documentation and responds by blaming the customer raises serious concerns. No records, no accountability, and no professionalism proceed at your own risk.
