This place was the best for a one stop shop! I had the most pleasant experience ever! No lie! This is not no advertisement nor favor of some sort. I felt compelled to giving back an awesome review for their excellent customer service. It's the least I could do. I don't understand how others can give such bad reviews & not appreciate what they do! The staff was extremely helpful from the time I called them over the phone w/ questions AND when I actually walked into the shop to make my purchase. I've never changed a car headlamp in my life and an employee did not hesitate one bit to do it for me. I attempted to give a small tip and the employee refused. I was blown away w/ how "honest" she was and she kindly explained to me that it was company policy not to accept any tips. I must say not very many people are that honest these days. Just stopped into this store to buy synthetic oil for a car I was driving that wasn't mine. The "check oil" light came on so I stopped here as it was the closest auto supply store. I walked into the store, was not acknowledged by any of the 4 men who were behind the counter. I walked over to the oil section and couldn't find what I was looking for so I walked over to the counter and asked one of the guys if he works there - I didn't know if he was there as a repair person or delivery guy, etc. He literally just looked at me with a blank stare on his face and after a long pause says "what can help you find?" in a very disinterested tone. This car is a luxury Audi that I am not familiar with and I didn't want to get the wrong oil. The customer service was severely lacking and (I am a woman) many women walking into this situation would find it a very uncomfortable and intimidating experience. I just found it extremely annoying and maddening. I went to check the dip stick, which I couldn't find - there isn't one, it's digital (again, not familiar with newer, luxury cars). I learned this and how to check it only because the youngest of the men working the store came out with a paper towel and a funnel and asked if I needed some assistance (after, I'm sure, watching me futz around for a while). He showed me how to access the digital readout of the oil level and after I emptied the quart into the engine, took my garbage. This young man could give every single one of the others a lesson in customer service. A person should be acknowledged when coming into a store, asked if there is anything they need assistance with and just have some basic interpersonal communication skills - like when asked if they work there they could say yes, I do, can I help you find something? Really, really basic. I have checked, filled and changed out the oil in various cars I have owned over the years, I just am very unfamiliar with luxury cars that show the oil level digitally, it isn't my car and I wanted some assistance finding the correct oil - not asking anything to extraordinary. I will not return to this store and that younger man should take his customer service skills and kindness somewhere else where these things are part of the culture. read more

Excellent customer service!! Had a weird issue with executing The Lifetime Durlast Brake warranty. Since the brakes were shipped from Tennessee, the computer system said "return to original country" as if it were international! I was shocked, But with the training for the job and exceptional intuition Autozone helped me execute that warranty. They are definitely getting better then last year and I've always trusted autozone! My windshield wiper flew off the car while driving in the rain on Thanksgiving. It was 4:00 pm and we looked to see what was open. AutoZone was open, and Chris provided excellent customer service. I cannot stress how angry, disappointed, frustrated, I am with Autozone. This particular location. I came in wanting an H7 Bulb for my Yamaha R6. I told this old man that I was looking for an H7 bulb. He kept cutting me off and bottom line is, I have been a very loyal customer with this particular location for YEARS! My FAMILY has been loyal customers for years. After I told them what happened, they said they will now go to the Cornell Road location near Sunset High school. I walk in and here's how the conversation went: Me - "Hi! I'm looking for an H7 bulb and-" man - "For what." Me - "Uh, for a Yamaha R6." man - "Good for you. Goooood for you. This is AutoZone. AAAUUTOS. NOT motorcycles. You have to go to a motorcycle store." Me - "Sir, I need an H7 bulb. I don't see one here and-" man - "Well like I said. AUTOzone." That was when I felt so disrespected. I've NEVER been talked to by anyone like that. This SOB with brown skin, glasses, salt/pepper hair, totally destroyed my relationship with my local AutoZone. Until this old man is either FIRED or moved to a different LOCATION, or be required to take a Customer Service class or something. I don't usually get too upset about stuff like this, but it was about 30 minutes till closing. I get that they're closing and things, but seriously?! 1 star is too much! SMH! Absolute worst experience in a store ever. What gets me is I returned to this store because they had been helpful in the past. This time I waited over 10 minutes to be rung up while two women chit-chatted behind a wall. I took my items to the counter and looked around and saw there was no employees. I waited a few minutes thinking maybe someone will check the interior of the store and see a customer waiting. Nope. I start calling out "Is anyone working the registers?" "Can anyone ring me up? I want to pay for these items". Instead of anyone coming out I hear these women behind this partition talking. A few more minutes and I start yelling that I can hear them. I did not curse but seriously it was over five minutes by this time. I continue to yell "Is no one here?" "You have a customer and you are refusing to come out and help them?" and more along those lines because by this time I am pissed. The women lowered their voices but continued to talk off and on. I seriously thought about walking back there and confronting them face to face because all either of them had to do was get off their @$$, stick their heads out and call for someone to help me if they were on break. Finally after at least ten minutes I turn and start to walk out shouting that I can go buy these some place else and spend my money there. Then people started to come out (not the women) and this old guy rings me up. I told him someone could have robbed the place. This is not the way to run a store at all. He gave me the name of the manager, Jeff. I have not spoke to Jeff but I did do their survey and I wrote them on their contact form. I did state in the store as I was leaving that I will be doing reviews on line. I am still very upset about this experience. No one should be treated like this. read more

I had several lights out on my car. I went in, and was immediately asked if I needed help finding what I was looking for. He directed me to the bulbs immediately. Then I couldn't find all the ones I needed. Kai offered to help. He found what I needed, and even doubled checked that the bulb was bad before selling it to me. I told them I had already bought some others for my brake lights, and he installed all three in the 90 degree sun. Kai and all others were very friendly and helpful. Thank you. I like shopping at AutoZone. I like the prices and especially the oil change bundles. But the one thing I don't like and is common to all AutoZone stores is they don't hire cashiers! You have to wait in a nebulous non-line for a parts guy or girl to check you out. They do have a checkout only register, but it's not staffed! And sometimes, for some reason, it seems to matter if you have a credit card or cash. So there you stand, with the rest of the car part customer zombies, shuffing from side to side while you wait for your parts guy to become available to ring up your car polish. To their credit, the folks that do work there know what they are doing and are extremely helpful. AutoZone - start hiring cashiers! read more

Off I went for a new EGR valve, and I may have browsed for three minutes before stepping up to the busy Saturday afternoon rush at the counter. Enter Ashley, who blew me away with her speed, knowledge, and pleasant courteous attitude. I may have been there for all of eight minutes before leaving with my new part in hand...and a good luck wish using my name. I even told her, I can't even think as fast as she was working to help me. Did I mention she greeted me when I walked in? While waiting on another customer? I understand people have bad experiences, and maybe they crossed paths with an employee not cut out for the job, or having a hard day. However, I received wonderful help from a young lady whom I suspect would do well in ANY customer service position, anywhere. I'm just glad she works at AutoZone today! read more

Saul says it is 62.99, we tell him of the discrepancy and in the middle of the conversation, a coworker yells over to him and says when you are done with your customer can you finish up over here for me. Saul thought it to be appropriate to leave us that instant to help someone else at another terminal. Come on now...customer service 101! So after waiting for his return, which never happened we left. Don't buyDuralast auto batteries from Autozone! We purchased an RV last Summer and the owner bought a new Duralast Deep Cell battery for it that had a manufacture date of Feb. 2015 at AutoZone. The Duralast battery does not have taps to show the month/year when it is purchased like Bi-Mart, get your batteries there instead. Pluse the battery warranty is void if you sell or transfer your vehicle. That is absurd. So if you buy a new car and sell it after 11 months then the warranty is void and the new buyer has no warranty. This is Oregon and this type of warranty evasion by AutoZone should be made illegal if it isn't already. I did call the AutoZone store an told them the battery is only 13 months old and failed last month after being only a year old. AutoZone is one zone I'll not be entering again until they start to sell and warranty quality products. BATTERY LIMITED WARRANTY (United States Only) This warranty lasts from the day you buy the battery to the end of the warranty period on your receipt. This warranty expires when you sell or transfer your vehicle. I bought a transmission oil filter "kit" for a honda, when I went to pick it up, the guy was very happy, almost suspicious, and he said everything is in the box. When I came home (which was an hour away, and I went there because of the cheapest price) the gaskets were missing and couldn't finish the job. When back to return it, the manager opened the box and the gaskets were missing, I told him I got it like that and that's why I'm returning it, he YELLED at me very loudly and insulted me, almost calling me racial names, I told him I bought over $1k on parts in a couple of days, why would I steal some cheap gaskets? He just kept yelling, so I left. VERY BAD SERVICE and he didn't even talked to the guy who sold it to me, he was just snickering on the side. read more

Went here the other day pick up an alternator for my Toyota truck. This was to replace a Kragens rebuild I installed a few years back. I didnt have a receipt to get my lifetime warranty honored and for some reason the computer would not show my original purchase but did have me listed as a customer. Thought I might be out of luck but after a couple of failed attempts to verify the old purchase, they just swapped it out for a replacement at no cost to me. Very pleased and they treated me like a valued customer even though I recently moved here from out of state. I will always choose this store due to the customer service. read more
