Those parts or fluids being worn out may be legit, but the cost for JL to replace them + labor is almost enough incentive to take a loan out at the bank, at least for me. I'm attentive to what needs to be replaced, and I head off to NAPA, where one of the friendly employees gets all the car and engine specs typed into a computer database, then heads off into the huge warehouse portion of the store and retrieves the part. The parts usually come in standard and Gold editions, I go for the gold, beings its not too much more expensive, and I feel I can trust NAPA with my extra money. The employees are also knowledgeable of what kinds of things to use for your auto, based on year, type, miles, etc. Overall, a great place to grab parts if you have enough confidence in yourself to work on your car. Also, a AAA card saves 7% on every purchase, which is awesome if you've got the card.

Unlike some of the lesser brands that i don't like, carquest filters are made by WIX. The shop is clean, compared to other auto parts that is. No puddles of grease or oil on the ground. Service is simple they get you what you're looking for and that's it. I ask for other parts and instead of automatically assuming it doesn't exist, which has happened, they look it up anyways to be sure. overall a pleasureable shopping experience. i get what i want and no young high school kid arguing with me.

He is a Military veteran and then some. Great prices, very good customer service and the place is well stocked. They offer a Veteran discount if you show your ID. The wife is "the brains" of the operation. That is to say that she knows a lot about electricity and as a BSEE with 50 years in the biz when I ask her a question she responds as someone who really knows what she's talking about. Everything she's ever recommended has worked out perfectly for me and I really appreciate that. I don't shop at this store nearly as often as their other branch but this store is right across from Costco. And since they are open 7 days a week, if I am at Costco and need something electricity related, I'll stop in here. Both stores are similarly stocked regarding inventory. The staff here is also great. They get you in and out the door with a great price and a smile quickly. I might be able to save a few pennies buying at one of the box stores but I greatly value local businesses and do my best to support them when ever I can. They will R&R your battery and will even install car batteries while you wait. I've never asked them to install my motorcycle batteries but I suppose they might.
