Fantastic support - John was wonderful to work with. We absolutely love our sliding glass doors onto our deck with a view. Accent was patient and careful working out the sliding glass doors that we wanted, high quality with excellent prices. After the doors were installed by another company, we were unsure that the doors had been installed correctly - got very little support from the other company. Although John did not install the doors, came to our apartment, and fixed the installment issues for us! Amazing. Rarely see this level of support from businesses. We had a problem with the lock on a Semco door. Fortunately for me when I called, John picked up the phone. He had previously worked on our windows, so he remembered me. We set up the appointment, and John showed up on time, did a great job fixed the lock and explaining to me what went wrong, and how we could avoid repeating the problem. I was reco. by a colleague to this place. I was very skeptical since there were no reviews on yelp etc about this vendor. But after talking to Ryan, I felt more confident. After the initial quote, Ryan and Matt came by to measure and give the final quote. When I told them I am not yet ready to sign, they were understanding. Anyhow, after talking to my colleague, I decided to go with these guys. I just had one patio door to replace and once I signed and paid 50%, the door was ordered and it was installed in 2-3 weeks (as promised). Matt and other person were very professional while doing the install. Cleaned up afterwards. There was a slight confusion about the final price, I talked to Ryan, he was very understanding. I contacted Tony D. at Accent Windows regarding a need to fix most of the windows in our house as the original windows no longer functioned properly. Many were binding up or even falling out when opened. Tony sent John over to provide an estimate of the costs and to explain what the process would be to fix the situation. I had concerns that the costs were going to be high to remedy the situation however, John's quote was well below my expectations so I agreed with the work to be conducted. John was very professional through the process and proactive in his communications. He met all of the dates and time lines he had committed to. If I could give NO stars I would! They have the most HORRIFIC customer service I have ever dealt with! I deal with contractors and vendors constantly and Accent Window Systems officially has the WORST customer service I have ever received. They are almost non-responsive. I have been dealing with John Beltran for 4 months just trying to get items on order and it is one bumble after another. I have to email repeatedly, call John on his cell and office before I MIGHT get a response. To date, the items are still not on order and I still cannot get someone out to the house to take the measurements they need to place the items on order after reaching out repeatedly. I think I would rather have someone tell me they do not want my business if that is the case. Then I wouldn't have wasted so much time! I am now going elsewhere. read more

A few years after having windows installed in a new house, there were lots of problems. We tried and tried to get hold of Tony, who had originally sold us the windows, but he never returned our calls. Once we FINALLY got hold of him, we had Ryan come out, and he agreed that more than 2/3 of our glass needed to be replaced. Matt and his crew came out, and began replacing the glass. Many of the windows were replaced with no problem. Halfway through the instillation in one room, they discovered that the glass for 5 windows was too big to fit, so they put the original glass back in, and Ryan came back out, and new glass was ordered. Unfortunately for us, they didn't secure them properly, and on a slightly breezy day, one of the window sections "popped" out, getting glass all over the room, and breaking some of the items in the room. We cleaned it up, put cardboard in the opening, and the next day, called Tony. Matt came out, and put packing tape (that I provided) on the remaining glass sections to hold them in. Two weeks later, during another slightly breezy day, another section "popped" out, again breaking things in the room. Once more, I called Tony, and after a few very confusing phone calls, Matt came out and replaced the pieces of wood ( called appropriately 'stops'), and said that he probably should have put them back the first time. Now we had TWO windows with cardboard in them, as the weather was getting colder, and we were heading into the holidays. The replacement glass finally came in later than we were told, and Matt came out to replace the rest of the windows. The glass was replaced, and after negotiating a decrease in our final payment due to the damage from the two broken windows, Matt left. Both times they were here, I had to go to each room and clean up the mess that was left behind. Tape, sealant, wood splinters, nails... all had to be cleaned up AFTER they left. We are left with a very bad impression of the company. Matt is a very nice guy, funny and personable, but after what we went through, I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Ryan and Matt are very nice guys, but the work is incomplete, and the clean up and attention to detail is lacking. read more

Accent Window Systems was recommended to us by a coworker who lives in Santa Cruz. He went through them for a new construction project. We, on the other hand, needed replacement windows and doors. Tony and Ryan did an excellent job bringing us up-to-date on current product and manufacturers. Their advice on the type of window install we wanted was spot-on. Their pricing was good and their service even better. Matt and his crew did our installation; they were quick, very well-qualified, and clean. Our installation happened during a very wet week; no negative impact to the interior or exterior of our home. We do have some minor fixes that are needed to our Milgard windows (inevitable in a project such as this) and are currently waiting for Milgard to come and touch up, replace a damaged screen, etc. Ryan is supporting us in this process and we expect no problems.
