I got a flat late on 95 & was able to get safely to a motel. Called a few shops first thing in the morning and AC Wow not only fit me in but gave me the number for tow company. They tried to patch my tire to no avail. New tires ordered that morning and I was on my way before COB. Highly recommend, super helpful and knowledgeable. Great staff. read more

Lesley and Scott Glenn were great to me and my Lexus! They fixed a front in alignment (at a great cost in comparison to surrounding automotive businesses) and even gave me honest professional assessments. They were not trying to trick me (as other mechanic shops have done in the past) and they really helped me to understand and explain everything to expect about my car moving forward. I'd recommended this family run business to anyone in the Richmond area that are tired with the hassle of finding trustworthy mechanics! read more

A.C.WOW Tire & Auto - Business card - Tires Near Me - Ashland, Virginia

I'm fairly new to Ashland, staying with a friend who had told me about this company and how she and her neighbors trusted and appreciated them. I have my own favorite guy and business in Lakeside so really wasn't impressed . . . . until I was in a spot where I had to have someone closer. When I called to explain my issue, they were quite helpful, told me who I needed to call to get the vehicle to them. They also understood my worry about the cost and my ability to get to work the next day. They took care of the issue quickly and at a price that was a blessing. I now have the comfort of having two good companies I know I can turn to when I have an auto issue. read more

I've been a customer for more than 10 years and while other shops are still looking for tires AC Wow Tire has installed them and rolled me on my way. My go to shop for full auto repair. Friendly skilled staff and clean waiting area. read more

I've had my cars serviced there for years. Great, friendly, trustworthy skilled staff and service. Family owned business, recently taken over ( in last 5 or 6 years) by the son, Johnny. Their prices are always better than the other automotive shops, the staff is friendly and responsive, and on occasion, there is a handsome golden retriever in the office to greet you ! I've been very pleased with the service I've received for my cars over the past few years. read more

We were traveling and somehow picked up a nail. It was a blessing that we made it to A.C. WOW Tire & Auto. All the other nearby tire places were closed and they were close to closing for the day. The staff was friendly, very respectful and very honest. They saved us $115 and repaired our tire that had the nail and also gave us a nail cap. They are truly an amazing Tire & Auto place. We highly recommend them. read more

Was very helpful and offered good advice. Had a large screw embedded in one of my tires and figured I was going to have to replace it. They said internal patch would be sufficient so that only cost me $30. Also I was there about 25 minutes. read more

I have been going here for years, I can always count on honesty and very fair pricing for any service, it's a friendly family owned business,I feel safe bringing my car here for service. read more

Not professional. I had to take my truck to another shop after they misaligned my new tires and also didn't balance them correctly.

They get the work done properly, but you will pay for it. Not very organized and they will put you at the back of the line if you try to do any of your own work. Thats it. If you can't do it yourself they will treat you fair. If you do work yourself and hope for an inspection or "fix" on failed work you did tough luck your problem. read more

Felt ripped off and scammed! My truck has passed inspection for years, and I took it there because my shop was backed up. I was told it failed (for the first time ever) because the tire class was wrong, and guess what?? They just happened to have a used pair they could put on for $215! The next mechanic I brought it to told me he hadn't ever heard of a car failing for that! read more

Super nice folks & fast service. Happy to find honest local shop. Sweet puppy was added bonus for wait time.

They have been inspecting all of my cars for 7 years, one in particular, a 1991 fully restored Toyota MR2 which I drive only a couple of hundred miles a year. (BTW - they have been inspecting this one for 3 years now and passed it with no problem). Last Saturday I took the car there and after waiting for 2:30 hours, he came back and said "you have a problem with your suspension, it's too low and the coil over spring is to stiff" I said, how come you've passed my car twice already and never brought up the issue? The answer was "I can't catch everything" Dam right you can't, you are not the one doing the inspection, you have a bunch of kids looking at thing in the back and you just drive cars around! Won't be back. read more

I needed my car inspected in a pinch. My inspection due on the very last day. My usual place , the dude had some sort of stomach bug and didn't show up for work, another place I called said to get in line , lack of planning on my part did not constitute an emergency on hers. Yeah Yeah I understand. We all wait til the last minute and we all want it now,. Anyway I saw that AC tire did inspections on yelp, I thought they just did tires and had a car wash, ignorance on my part I guess. So I called , spoke with Johnny, he said I could come in and wait. No problem . I get there and the garage is full, one couple settling there account for brakes and alignment, they do that?? , yep. They left happy. I walked up spoke with a lady at the counter ,very nice, I think her name was barb or something, filled out a short form , just name and phone. Johnny asked for my keys and takes my car back right away. I sat down, hooked up to their free WiFi and watched Tv. Jonny (spelling not known) comes out to order a part talks to barb, they pick at each other, I said something sarcastic like a work marriage, she said they were married, really. Don't know if I'd like that job, but they worked well together, I asked about some tires for my wife's SUV, they had a couple questions about traction and stuff, anyway, she will be getting new tires from them soon as I was on my way in under 45 minutes . People came and went and everyone was satisfied, they research the work and parts together, overall I nice family business, oh yeah I'm big on Goodyear and so were they. I would definitely recommend and I never write these things, I guess they touched me so much I had to leave as did that was weeks Ago. BRO read more

We always use AC Tire for all our families vehicles. We find them honest, fair, and friendly. Thank you Johnny for taking such good care of our vehicles! read more

We love AC Tire. Always do a good job, at a fair price and never try to charge more. Had a truck that wouldn't start, tried to jump it, still wouldn't start. Had it towed to their place. They cleaned the battery terminals and battery up and it started right up. No finding problems that weren't there. read more

I have used A C Tire for years for my car and my whole family's cars. They have a strong local following because they are honest and don't rip you off. Often they would tell me I could go longer on brakes and/or tires because I could get more wear out of them. Plus if you forget your inspection date, they will fit you in and help you out. I have been treated with extremely well by them and still use them now. read more

AC tire rocks. Best shop i've ever used. Johnny is great. Car gets fixed right and he makes sure you understand cost and repairs before he starts. He's honest too. Needed tires and his supplier was expensive. He told me i could get them cheaper through tire rack or another supplier then bring them to him for install. Johnny and AC Tire wont let you down. read more

heading to OBX from MD for vacation, we were nearly pushed off the road by a tractor trailer on 95 around 5am and just about lost control of our vehicle. when we pulled over at rest stop to get ourselves together, noticed we also lost breaks. AAA contacted a few places and AC Tires were the first to take us on a Saturday. not only did they inspect right away, they let us and our 2 small kids hang out in waiting area and play with their dog, Mia. They gave us a ride to a local hotel so the kids could swim and nap before getting back on the road once the truck was ready. Then came back to pick my husband up from hotel to get truck. the price was more than reasonable. the people; owners and customers were beyond kind and accommodating. they made this stressful experience so much smoother for us. There was a lady in the waiting area that insisted on giving us $40 to put towards our hotel stay. for that, we thank her, and will pay it forward. Thank you AC Tire. The world needs more business owners, and people like you in it. read more

They have always treated me fairly. Whenever I need work done on our cars, they always make time to do the work and charge a reasonable price for it. They even let me know if I can get a part cheaper myself, and then they install it. read more
