I…read moremourned OSH when it was bought out and replaced by Ace Hardware, however I have found myself there recently a number of times and looking forward to going back every time. It's a large, clean, well-lit, well organized store with a pretty fantastic selection of everything as far as I can see. All that aside, I have to rave about the people who work there. They're fantastic. They're friendly, they come looking to help you, they know what they're selling, they know how it works, they know exactly where to find what it is you're looking for. I have had such great interactions with the folks who work at the store I cannot speak highly enough about it. Ace hardware franchises their stores and this one is one of their few corporate stores which means they have everything, they're huge. But the best thing they have is stellar employees and managers. Ace truly is the place with the helpful hardware person. I'll be back, just looking for an excuse really!

As soon as I walk in I'm getting followed by older Hispanic lady and she's asking "are you even looking for anything?" And it caught me so off guard because what else would I be doing and I said yes actually I am and let her know what items I needed and she scoffs at me and walks away saying "well if you need help let me know!!!" And I was confused again because I DID ask her for help so once again I go ask her if she can direct me in the way of these items and she sends me downstairs where I ask the knife guy for directions because I feel like I've gone the wrong way now and this man looks at me dead in the face and says "THIS IS KNIFE SHARPENING WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE!! If you're not here to sharpen your knives then why are you here" like geez it's not that hard to just kindly redirect me! I was thinking about leaving and just not buying anything at this point because of how I've been treated but I live pretty close and I was working on a last minute project so I had no choice but to buy items here. Honestly the store itself wasn't too bad just very dirty and the workers need to work on their customer service and attitude.

Parking not good if you want close parking, they have structure parking but it is a distance. Anyway, once you walk in you see gleaming floors and bright well lit warehouse. You will walk a few steps and people actually come and ask if you need help. It is not uncommon for 2 or 3 people to actively come up to you and ask if you need help. How's that for Home depot. it is unusual isn't it?? I feel that this location should be the training ground for other home depot employees. ALL HOME DEPOTS should be like this store. One thing though, can home depot's fix their credit card machines and allow tapping for payment??? seem like every store has this issue.

They allowed us whatever amount of time we needed to look at the hardware. Mason was great at helping me to focus in on the styles that would work in the type of house we have and the look we wanted. He showed us several offerings by some of the brands. He gave us plenty of to think about. I came back about a week or so later to narrow things down to which set of fixtures for two bathrooms. After looking around a little more, Sal asked if I would like some help. After describing what I was hoping to find, he guided me to the collections that would be best for our project. He really knows the merchandise they have and wrote up the estimate and emailed me the next day. We came back a few days later and met with Mason again and made a few minor adjustments to our order. Both of the salesmen who worked on this project for us were incredibly good to work with. Actually, everyone on staff that we met was stellar. This project has been well served.

For example, the picture accompanying my review shows my beloved pup getting his picture taken with Santa Claus at Arnold's when they kindly and generously offered a Santa Claus for families to take photos even up to and through Christmas Eve. This is so generous of Arnold's because a lot of times that is a very expensive photo shoot for families. As you can see they had the set decorated super cute for Santa photos. I have a lot of loyalty for this local business because they make all of our lives better and more fun. Thank you Arnold's!
