And when we asked the salesperson for something comparable to what we were looking at, hoping maybe for a brand we hadn't considered, they weren't very forthcoming - do you have Subzero? Do you have Kitchenaid? etc. If we couldn't think of a brand name off the top of our head, it wasn't suggested. Prices are not displayed on many appliances - we had to ask, and the salesperson had to go look it up each time.

While looking at colors a clerk comes over to us and lets us know they do this promo where you can get 3 little tester cans of paint in any of their colors and 3 brushes for like $20. So we did this. Clerk was great and helpful. So when it came time to do other rooms we went back. We go in and there's a clerk behind the desk. He doesn't say hello or anything. Eh, fine. No biggie. So we do our thing and pick our three shades to sample. We go to the desk to tell the clerk we want the sample deal and you'd have thought we were asking him for plasma. He tells us the colors we picked won't work for the sample pack. When I asked why he didn't answer but proceeded to type things into his computer. He then rings up the order - again never answering my question as why the colors we picked wouldn't and goes into the paint mixing room. Comes back 10 minutes later with our samples. I asked about the brushes and again a reaction of complete annoyance. He hands them to us and walks away into the back. No thanks. No nothing. We went back a third time on a Sunday. When we walked in and saw him we turned around and walked out and went to Sherman Williams. It's a paint store, I get that. You don't have to be overly attentive. It's not a high end botque. But at least be nice. If you dislike what you do that darn much perhaps do something else. I worked retail for decades and it's not always a picnic. But at least try to be nice.
