I was done in by karma when a unseen and unnoticed rock struck my new F150's windshield yesterday while driving back to Aurora from COSP. Seven days and 369 miles of karma. I called the Denver office and they said there was a chance they could repair the 6 inch crack and yes, the Lakewood shop was closer so just drop in. I live in SE Aurora and skedaddled right on over. Gave me a quote right over the phone which was actually the cheapest out of all competitors that I called, even cheaper than the recommended shop by my insurance company. I called at 10am. They set my appointment at 11am. Got there early and began working on it early. They quoted me 90 minutes for the replacement of my windshield. They were finished in 60 minutes. While changing 79-year-old neighbor's wiper blades, spring-loaded arm unexpectedly snapped back, leaving an asterisk-shape but no divot (diy repair?) in a 2006 Chevy Cobalt. Cracks spreading; felt horrible with all possible outcomes of stewarding repairs on another person's car (fix one item but three more fall apart in the process); needed professional assessment. Excellent service from entire staff. Expertise far beyond auto glass. Thorough treatment and willingness to address glass-related fittings. Quality components. Great pricing plus warranted workmanship/chip repair. Considering haphazard nature of auto glass situations, I hope not to need to return (mobile service too) but would absolutely be back. The best price of the four glass gurus I called for a replacement windshield for my 4Runner, and even had availability the next day (Friday) in shop. Mobile service would've taken longer, same wait as the competition. I ran 30m late for my appointment unfortunately..... no problemo. Free wifi and coffee in lobby. Great bbq up the road at the gas station - walk out, take a right, walk 8 minutes. Came back with bbq on my face and a replacement windshield that looks exactly right. I think I actually paid a few bucks less than quoted.... I was quoted the price "plus tax", but just paid that price, tax included. Anything less than 5 stars for Absolute is silly!! I called about twelve different auto glass places around the Denver area. Not only was David the friendliest, but the cheapest for a windshield. It was under $150 for a windshield installed!! I called on Saturday and he was able to get to me first thing Monday morning at my work. I will keep his card and call him whenever I need a new windshield or chip/crack repaired. Also he said they can repair cracks up to the size of a dollar bill. read more

They got me right in with an appointment to change the windshield (the crack was too big - they say under 6 inches can be repaired instead of replacing the windshield). They have free wifi in the lobby while you wait. On a side note, go hungry and walk about five minutes over to Sweet Mama's BBQ while you wait for some great BBQ. They were able to save my existing molding which saved me about $30 from the price they quoted me on the phone. My insurance had initially suggested I have the work done by SafeLite, but the price that Absolute quoted me was about $100 cheaper and they use better glass (according to them), plus they had the best reviews I have ever seen on yelp! Absolute Auto Glass is great - price-wise and customer service-wise. I had my front windshield replaced recently and I messed up the year with another car we had. When Jim arrived, we found out it was the wrong windshield (Toyota Corolla windshields changed size started in '09 - who knew?) and he did a search to find us the right year. He found a windshield, picked it up and was replacing it within a hour. On a Saturday. With a smile. A really, really cheerful smile and attitude. (Thankfully we were the last appointment of the day otherwise someone else may have had to wait until Monday for the same mix-up.) Not only did Jim replace the windshield same day (with my mix-up, no less), he also put in some anti-rust thing on a pretty decent scratch we had on our paint. I forgot what the liquid was called but it was black like the car so no guarantees anyone else will get this little perk. He also humored all my husband's questions, told us a little bit more about the company (no one there has worked in the windshield replacement biz under 10 years), and let us know about the discount program if we get a chip or crack. There's also a referral program so your friends can get a discount if they mention you did business with them. Overall a solid business. I will definitely be calling them the next time a rock decides to crack my windshield. read more

If you live in Colorado you've experienced that wonderful feeling of driving behind a truck and having a rock hit your windshield. Those beautiful chips in your windshield will inevitably turn into full blown foot long cracks in your windshield. The only way to prevent that from happening is to go to get that windshield serviced. I called several places around town and this place was by far the cheapest. For $30 they will fix up to three chips or cracks that are 2 inches or less. I had four chips in my windshield and they fixed all four for the same $30 price. This place offers great service and is rarely crowded. I've had both my car and my girlfriend's car fixed here and I'd recommend them to anyone. read more

I wish I could give this place MORE stars! For so so so many reasons. First: the price was the best I could find. After getting quotes between $320-$350 from three other glass shops, Absolute quoted me $197. The explanation as to why their price was so much better was simply that the markup on the glass I needed was pretty ridiculous, and they didn't see the point in charging me so much more than it was worth. I love them for that!!!! They were also the only place that didn't give me a huge sales spiel, which I respect so much. They simply gave me the quote, let me know about their lifetime warranty, and answered all of my questions. Plus, they were super fast! When I arrived at their shop for my appointment, they told me it would take between an hour and an hour and a half. It took them 50 minutes! The workers were all very nice and respectful. Their waiting room had a very comfy couch, free WiFi, and free coffee. Fingers crossed I don't need another window replaced any time soon, but if I do I would not hesitate in going back. And I will rave about them if any friends or family needs any glass replaced. read more

I came in today, Saturday, at 12. There was basically no wait at all! The repairer was really nice and friendly. Also very knowledgable as a little bullseye crack on a windshield is common and minor. All in all it took maybe 25 minutes from parking to leaving. I paid $30 for the crack repair and another $15 for replacement windshield wipers as I needed new ones and it was cheaper here. Right at the end, the guy cleaned my entire window which was a nice touch. I'd come back if I ever needed to. read more

I called absolute auto glass about a rock chip in my windshield and spoke to David. He was friendly and professional and scheduled me in for an appointment. I came to the shop and they had a nice little waiting room with a comfy couch, magazines, and coffee. David let me know that it would take about 15 minutes to fix the rock chip. It really did only take 15 minutes and they (David and the other guy at the shop) explained what they did and had me look at their work before I took off. Oh, and I forgot to mention that my current windshield was replaced by absolute auto glass about 2 years ago and I haven't had any issues - hence why I decided to come back. I'll definitely be calling them again for any other auto glass needs and highly recommend that you do so too! read more

short of the long: Would I use them again? Absolutely..! I had called a few places after an altercation between wildlife and myself. Needless to say the least but vital part of the damage was a windshield. Called on a Monday and had an 8am the following. the few I had called couldn't get anything as soon as that. about 1.5/2 hrs I was out. also, my rear view mirror was a bit loose in its cradle and he stopped by to replace a bolt and got me squared away with the wobble. Beyond impressed. For starters, they are 50% less than the big national glass repair shop whose jingle we all know so well. Secondly, they can come and replace your windshield pretty much the very next day (versus a 1.5 week long wait the the aforementioned provider). They came to my parking garage downtown. Gave me a window of between 2-4PM. They arrived at 2:10. Thumbs up. Andy, my technician, was super polite. Another thumbs up. They were finished in about a half hour. But my biggest thanks goes to Absolute Glass for a flawless, hassle-free windshield replacement, which included exceptional customer and technical service. My specifics: -'14 Toyota Highlander w/large windshield crack -Progressive Insurance, 50.00 deductible for glass replacement -Prior windshield replacement experiences on other vehicles from other businesses -I'm an "over-researcher" on service providers, and a proud geek who loves learning whatever I can about anything new. Windshield replacement? Tell me more about it! I even read their blog! - After industry & insurance research + online customer experiences, I knew I wanted Pilkington glass. But I also knew the Progressive customers online didn't seem to have much of a choice on their glass - either from Progressive, or from the other shops they chose. -Not a lot of opportunity/time for phone calls in my life My experience: -Dionne at Absolute Glass was super responsive via Yelp messaging, and beyond helpful in every way. If it weren't for Progressive's slow online claim system, I bet I could have gotten in the same or next day. -I requested Pilkington OEM glass for the install and was told it was no problem. Dionne verified the correct part with my VIN and said Pilkington had it in stock. -Progressive finally got back to me the next day, and Dionne scheduled my appointment for when I had the time (the following morning). -Ashley answered the phone when I called because I was running 10 minutes late -she was super understanding and kind. -Check-in was easy, everyone was really professional and nice, and I even heard either Ashley or Dionne verify in the shop that they were installing the Pilkington glass. Oh, did I mention I wanted Pilkington? Guess someone picked up on that. Ha! -A little over an hour later, the helpful installer showed me the perfectly installed glass, asked if I had any questions, and went over the warranty/instructions, I paid my 50.00, and I left really happy and excited in my super-geeky way about my new windshield. The glass was perfectly centered, the VIN number lined up in the windshield slot like it was born there, and the trim and moldings were nice and tight against the glass. My world was literally clearer and brighter! :) It was soooo nice to actually have the job done right (as it should be!), but I'm writing this part to show how the owner (or manager? Sorry - didn't catch his name) goes above and beyond to help people. I actually went back later that day to have someone look at what I thought might have been adhesive left on top of my car near the windshield, and to ask if they could remove it. I'd tried already, but I didn't want to damage my paint and thought they might have the solvent for it. It was clear gunk, but the guy in charge said they only used black adhesive - and was really nice about it. I immediately believed him (I'm a human lie-detector in my spare time), and I told him thank you and that I trusted him, but he waved me back into the shop with him anyway and chuckled, "Yes, trust - but then verify!" So he showed me the black urethane adhesive they use, and then even got some of his own polishing compound from the shop and tried to get the alien gunk compound off my roof for me. It didn't budge, but the fact that he tried just shows the character behind the business so well. And to make it even clearer that this wasn't their issue, I later looked at the photos I'd taken of the crack in the windshield before the replacement (in case Progressive needed them) and guess what I saw? That stupid spot of whatever unholy crap that's stuck on my roof, right there in my pre-replacement photo. Wish I had looked at that photo before I went back to the shop, but oh well. I still can't say enough good things about this company! The DH and I were driving back from WY this last weekend and a big truck threw up a bunch of rocks on to our windshield. We were sure at least one would make a dent, and we were right. A small fracture starting making its way up the center of our windshield. We decided not to replace the whole thing, since it's still likely that this will happen again before winter's over and instead decided to have the crack filled. We left a message for AAG after hours, and had a call back first thing the next morning. They came to me again - but this time I was at work in Lakewood - and took great care of my Jeep. The whole process, from the time I initially talked to John at 8:30am to Tim handing me my receipt for the completed work, was done in under an hour and a half! And, for only $40! 100% satisfied! I brought my car in for a full windshield repair in August due to a full length crack (curse you rocks on I-25!) and every single team member I worked with was fantastic - from the girl who took the phone call and worked with me through the payment process to the technician that took care of my car. Everyone was friendly, professional and very helpful and everything was very clearly explained to me about the repair, what they were doing and how to take care of it after the replacement and what to do if there were any problems. Their price was the most reasonable I found after researching 10 places and the service and quality was top notch. Sadly, I had another chip happen this past weekend (yet again, curse you rocks on I-25!) and when I called to ask about price to fix it, the gentleman I spoke with on the phone, Tom, said it was covered for a year for no charge if brought into the office! Wow! That was really awesome and unexpected. Good job running an honest business - seems rare in the car repair world anymore.
