A VIN number to my car was requested so that the correct part could be ordered. The windshield came in on time. Because I travel for a living, my son-in-law was going to manage the appointment for me. Within the hour I am receiving a call from Tom/Absolute Auto Glass, to say that the new windshield was not correct, that the auto manufacturer had switched part numbers. In addition, the new windshield cracked when they tried to install it. After he had finally been able to locate the correct windshield, they stated that it would be as long as two weeks for the windshield to get to them. Tom shared with me that the new windshield was quite a bit more costly, but that I would not be charged more than the original quote. Business integrity to the max! I know that this was not a profitable job for them. But they have earned my business in the future. There were a few things wrong from the last install done by a different company( missing screws, missing glue, etc. )and the installer fixed those and installed my new windshield. Service technicians were able to undo some sloppy work from a previous windshield replacement and the final product was more than I could have asked for. Unfortunately, that windshield was damaged beyond repair (20+ separate spots damaged by hail impact) so I once again had Absolute replace my windshield. Service tech Adrian was on time, quick and very easy to deal with despite the fact that I had to take off after he showed up. Finished product definitely looks professional. Not wanting to deal with a police report or insurance, I prayed for a reasonably priced savior. I went to Yelp to request quotes from various auto glass providers. Thanks to freak mishap (items in my hatchback tried to escape), I had a glass repair to an unusual part of my car. I shattered not the hatchback window but the skinny little window below it on my Honda Insight. It's an unusual piece of glass, I found. I got at least 3 quotes. Absolute Auto Glass wasn't the very cheapest, but the price was fair and they understood which glass I needed. Others kept trying to quote the large hatchback glass or did not offer defroster wires, and it made me wonder if they didn't really know my car or what to order. I opted to bring my car in rather than have them come to me (my garage access would be a challenge for them). The glass was ready the day after I made my appointment, and they fixed it while I waited. The technician apologized for the high price (still cheaper than most of the competition--even those with Groupons or other online deals) and said that they only see that type of glass replacement a few times a year. I got glass that matches the car and has a defroster, which I'm not sure anyone else would have gotten right. I'll learn to better secure lawn equipment next time I transport it in my vehicle. But if I need another glass repair, I'd use Absolute Auto Glass again. read more

I am visiting a friend in Denver and i got a 3 foot crack across my entire windshield a day before I'm supposed to be driving out of town. I called a few places closer to my location and they were booked out until a few days later or didn't call me back. So lucky I found Absolute Auto Glass. They made me a same day appointment and were able to get a replacement windshield for me (i have a rain sensor and a windshield that isn't always in stock). The woman i spoke to on the phone was beyond patient and helpful when i called in the morning and was just as kind in person when i dropped my car off. I also briefly met the technician who would be helping replace the glass and he was very nice and knowledgeable. They got the job done in less than the quoted time, but i couldn't get back before they closed so they're holding my car until tomorrow with no hesitations. Very easy process and fast service. They did a great job on the repair job. I was surprised how small the mark is after repair, not noticeable at all. It was my second time use this shop. I had the windshield on my 2004 Tundra Access cab replaced by absolute auto glass. The tech arrived at my house and after removing the windshield discovered they brought the wrong windshield. The manager called me to inform me that after putting my Vin number into there system it brings up a double cab Tundra not my access cab Tundra. After a short while another tech showed up with the correct windshield. Both techs installed the windshield. I Noticed after they installed my windshield at the top seal was messed up. The tech told me that it'll probably fix itself by the heat of the sun. After a few days, the seal did not fix itself so I contacted their office. They scheduled a windshield to be brought out and replaced because you can't just replace the seal. I set aside some time on the day for the second windshield to be installed. I get a text message saying they cannot come over due to the weather. I informed them I have a three car garage that they can install the windshield in. I was then informed that my garage is too small and they cannot do the replacement windshield in my garage. (I've had a few windshield replaced on a couple different vehicles inside my current garage by the competitor of Absolute Auto Glass) The tech also text me that I had the option of driving my truck down to the shop to have them fix it there. I told the tech that that would not work due to the fact that I would use probably 4 gallons of gas (round trip) And that I should not have to drive to their shop to fix the issue that they created. I contacted the manager who also confirmed they could not do it in my garage. The manager informed me that the seal that was messed up is strictly aesthetic, for looks, and the windshield would not leak. if that's the case, it did not look good. Also the gap on the seal, would let water get in behind the seal, possibly leading to a rust issue. All this messaging was done through Yelp. Then David the owner, told me that there was no reason why it couldn't be changed in my garage and that my garage was big enough. after some back-and-forth with the owner, he gave me a choice of living with the issues of the new windshield and refunding my money completely or just coming out and replacing it. I wasted a lot of time on this. First several hours for the first install after they brought the wrong windshield, waiting around the house for the second appointment to only be told that they couldn't come over because my garage was too small (even though it was a three car garage) and the weather was bad. It did not snow that day, it was 42°. I decided to accept the offer of the owner for a full refund. What frustrated me most about this company, was their lack of attention of detail. They brought the wrong windshield and said that was due to their computer showing my vehicle model being different after inputting the Vin (if that's the case, then my insurance company would have my truck different, the motor vehicle department would have my truck model different than my Vin says, etc.), then installing my wiper way too low, and the time that I wasted. This was the first time I had ever went with Absolute Auto Glass for any windshield. A first time customer. read more

Absolute provided the best price for the windshield replacement we needed, and they were very easy to work with. We opted for in-shop service, and had to reschedule due to things coming up at work. They worked with us to reschedule a few days later without any trouble. When we arrived, the technician performed an inspection and showed us some existing issues with our vehicle around the windshield. We dropped the vehicle off, but they were quick and we probably could have just waited at the shop. This place initially caught my eye when I was shopping around to gauge price and quality on a windshield crack repair. I messaged several business. Absolute responded promptly and with a detailed and I formative message (others just told me the price). Their competitive price and detailed information ultimately led me to picking this shop - which is out of my way so that's saying something. Upon arrival (I got there a few minutes after they open at 8am and there was no wait), someone helped me immediately. They looked at the crack, explained the process/risk, and took my car in the shop. He said it would be 15 to 20 minutes. 21 minutes later, I was back in my car. If the crack repair doesn't work and leads to needing a full replaced windshield, they will put the money you pay for the crack repair ($40) towards the windshield.
