Make sure to tell the allergy doctor there that you are allergic to dogs and cats for that other allergy shot. As far as I know the allergy shots have been keeping my allergies at bay for the most part; yes, there might be once a day every three months that my allergies will kick in full force no matter how well the allergy shots build up my immune system against an allergen although I can honestly say I am less prone to allergens than I was two to three years ago. The allergy shots just takes time to kick in. Depending on the allergy care, I ended up getting my allergy shots twice a week for about a year, then once a week for a year, then after seeing the allergy doctor he changed my the frequency of the allergy shots to once every two weeks, and then I'm planning to see the allergy doctor again the beginning of next year to get it changed to once every three weeks. Make sure to follow up with the allergy doctor to progress to getting the allergy shots less frequently if you feel your allergies are getting better. Generally, allergy shot care will take three to five years, and after that you can decide if you want to still continue with the allergy shots or not. They also provide XOLAIR (Omalizumab) if you have asthma. Customer Service: The customer service is excellent. All the nurses there are friendly, and take the time to hear out your needs. Appointments are easy to make with the allergy doctor, Dr. Lin. He's easy to talk to and he gets straight to the point to get your allergy care started. As for getting allergy shots, no appointment are required; just a simple walk-in, sign your name in for shots, wait a few minutes to get your allergy shots, and you're done! They will also leave a sign visible to you at their office way in advance if they are closed on a certain day, so you can plan accordingly with your allergy visits. Price: Depending on your health insurance, that will determine the price you pay or do not pay. My recommendation is get good health insurance that covers you for the allergy shots as the amount of money you put out of pocket will add up. Let the health insurance pay for it, if possible. Ambience/Location: The interior is pretty simple. It's like any other medical office. They do put on some NETFLIX for your convenience if your wait times are longer than expected which is nice. The location is prime though. Right in the midst of Victoria Gardens and the 15 freeway. Will I come back?: I've already been back multiple times for the past three years. Even now that I live in the OC County, I still come back here since I visit Rancho Cucamonga all the time anyway. I didn't want to continue and change the allergy care elsewhere. When we reviewed it he only focused on a few spots and left out areas on my testing which were 26 percent of predicted amount. I didn't notice this till after I left the office. I called the office back minutes after leaving and spoke to his medical assistant who also stated that its odd that the 26 percent of predicted was not explained or discussed. She called back and said that the Doctor is done explaining the testing and I am welcome to go someone where else for a second opinion. Please see a different doctor at this location. calling back and asking for an explanation on a 26 percent of predicted and then being blown off by being told to go somewhere else is unbelievable customer service and probably doesn't represent the whole company but he works for them. Showing up to an appointment to review results with NO results in front of me is a red flag. Then when I asked about going over them with him and him only focuses on 3 parameters was also a bit odd as he constantly redirected me back to 3 parameters. When asked over the phone once I left about 26 percent of predicted to be told he wouldn't answer, and I can go somewhere else as he is done explaining is rude and unprofessional. Please go somewhere else customers. This is not a place I would recommend sadly.
