Terrible office staff. My 70+ year old mother is a patient here and getting the simplest things done is such a hassle. No sense of urgency or care, no follow up, nothing. They will tell you they will call you and never do. Resulting in having to go into the office for a 5 minute task that any other doctor's office would do without having to be reminded a hundred times. If you need a referral for a painful condition, good luck to you. They will drag it out for weeks and force you to go into office for them to do their job. They'll tell you they'll call you when the authorization comes through (which takes all of 5 minutes), and then you won't hear from them again. And when you do go in, they send you to a doctor at a location that they're no longer practicing at so you have to start the process with them all over again and wait for weeks again. The doctor is fine but the office staff are the worst and because of that we're now in search of a new doctor's office. Shame because she likes the doctor but the incompetence of the staff is unlike anything we've ever seen. read more

They are just completely amazing. They don't try to treat the problem. They try to find the root cause of the problem. That's important to me. Don't push me on medication and out the door, find out what's causing the problem and tell me how I can correct it. Medication is the last alternative. My dad has been coming here for years, but on July 16, 2024, he was denied service. The administration told him that his insurance had not paid for his visit as far back as 2022. I called the insurance company, and it turns out the clinic did not file the claims for three separate bills. Despite this being a clerical error on their part, the staff was very rude to my dad. We should not be responsible for fixing their billing issues, especially those that far back. This behavior is unprofessional. Although the insurance issue was eventually cleared up and my dad is now welcome back, he has a sour taste in his mouth and does not want to return. He is diabetic and was there for his bloodwork results, so this added unnecessary stress. I have nothing against Armada, but the administration, especially Carol, needs better training in both customer service and billing procedures. read more

My brother and Nephew did a Telemedicine call for my brother with Armada a week ago today DUE TO SECERE PAIN, WEIGHTLESS AND DIRE CONCERN FIO HIS WELL BEING.. My brother has lost 45 pounds under his care, in horrible pain and depressed. He has no diagnoses still, still awaiting a CT scan report. Arnada told him to not go to an ER, that it would be less stressful. He said they'd discharge you based on recent blood results, wait until your scan results come back. MY BROTHER DIED ABOUT 54 hours later. Today Armada called my nephew asking what to put on the certificate of death as cause. My Nephew told him we did not want him to ever be involved with this again, NOT TO SAY ANYTHING ON THE CERTIFICATE. In my opinion BlueShield of Inland Valley, Primecare and Armada are in breach of standards of service. GOD help you if this HMO AND THIS PERSON ARE YOUR SERVICE PROVIDERS. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Armada's for MANY years now. He is an amazing doctor and really takes time with his patients. I never feel rushed and I and able to discuss all my concerns. They are great about scheduling their patients in for urgent appointments, and I am usually seen by the next day.Dr. armada also has a separate clinic in which he manages hormones with bio identical medications. I LOVE Dr Armada!! He is a breath of fresh air after coming from another Dr that was a complete nightmare! He is always attentive, he takes time with all of his patients, no matter how busy he may seem, and he works HARD, he makes you feel more like family instead of just a patient, ALL of his nurses and staff are always so friendly and welcoming, they are always willing to accommodate you no matter what! As the previous reviewer said, this doctor will leave you sitting in the waiting room for a very long time. Well over an hour on each of my last two appointments. But that is not my main issue. I initially went to see Dr. Armada because I had been having pain in my hip for years and it was getting to the point where I couldn't stand it any more and decided I needed to see a doctor. Dr. Armada first implied that the pain was caused by my being overweight (I have lost a considerable amount of weight in the past few years), but finally, reluctantly, agreed to send me for an x-ray. When the results came back, he said they showed there was absolutely nothing wrong with my hip. I asked about having an MRI. He said, no, the insurance would not approve it. So he grudgingly prescribed a very low dosage of pain medication, acting as if I was faking the whole thing just to get pain pills. Fast forward about two years - I finally decided to change doctors because the pain had not improved, had in fact gotten worse. After sending me for x-rays, based on the results, my new doctor got me approved for an MRI, which showed I need a total hip replacement. Due to Dr. Armada's inability/lack of caring, I suffered for an additional two years when I didn't need to. Oh, but if you are interested in a "gluten-free" diet, he's your man! That is the diet he personally follows and he pushes it on you every time you come in. Wish I could give him a lower rating than one star! read more

He is an amazing doctor. Dr. Chris Armada is extremely experienced, and he really takes the time to explain things with you. He has been my parents doctor since I remember, and as an adult I choose to keep him because he is great. What I like most is that he tries all natural remedies first before giving medication. As for the comments left below, I have never been to a doctor visit with any doctor where I didn't wait. Its just the way it is especially with great doctors who everyone wants to go to. I do typically wait about 30-45 minutes for him, and I plan for it. read more

He was the first doctor of many outside of what I do to really listen to me. Yes, you will probably wait for a while but it's because he spends time with his patients. I would rather wait for an empathetic doctor that listens to me then one that meets my appointment time and rushes me. read more

Waist of time! I called to schedule an appointment on Thursday 7/18 for 7/24. I called on the 24th to confirm the appointment time to only be advised that there is no appointment scheduled. However, someone made a chart for me but did not schedule me properly for the appointment. I was advised that I can come in early, but there would be a $60 co pay and a charge for certain documents. I am not upset about the cost, but had someone did their job the first time and educated me about this we would not be in this predicament. Also, had they scheduled me properly we would not have any issues. Thought I should at least write a review since the office manager wasn't able to do anything as nothing was really done and no one wanted to take responsibility for their actions. read more

Chris Armada has been my wife's primary/family physician for several years. He controls the care she gets, no matter her needs. Last year he was remiss in her care which eventually led to her untimely death. My wife had progressive paralysis on her left side, and intractable pain in her neck and upper back for months. She got progressively worse, and all attempts to have her see a specialist or be worked up by a neurologist were rebuffed. He was slow to act, or refused outright all requests to help my wife. She was having great difficulty walking, and was falling often. We requested a cane, and it took over 5 weeks to obtain a cane (I did not wait and purchased a cane AND a walker myself). It took longer than necessary to get a walker, and by the time she got a walker she was put in the hospital BY ANOTHER DOCTOR as Chris Armada would not act in a appropriate and timely manner. He and his office are unprofessional, unresponsive, and irresponsible. By the time she was placed in the hospital FOR NECESSARY STAT DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES THAT SHOULD HAVE ALREADY BEEN DONE EARLIER IN THE YEAR, it was too late and she died. In addition, Doctor Armada placed her off work and promised to do all the necessary paperwork for state disability to kick in so we could pay bills, and the office DID NOT PUT IN THE PAPERWORK FOR NEARLY TWO MONTHS (a month after her death) as they were "too busy" and "we did not know what was wrong with her." Doctor Armada, her primary physician, did not follow through OR follow up with her care. Beware of the care you get--or do not get--from Chris Armada. read more
