Amazing little restaurant, just a stones-throw away from Victoria Station. The restaurant looks just as cute and cozy on the inside as it does on the outside. The tables are divided across two, not too big, floors. I've had the pleasure to dine here several times and every time was as good as the other. Amazingly friendly and professional staff who really do know about the stuff they serve, both food and drinks. A little aperitif was on the house, as well as the Liqor-43 we where advised to have with our desert. The food really is amazing, especially considering the price. When staying in London, this absolutely is a must-go place!!!

Like the previous reviewer has said, only a few minutes' walk from Victoria station, this is a good local restaurant/bistro, but not probably one you'd go miles out of your way to visit. The (somewhat tactile) staff are predominantly Spanish speaking and this shows in parts of the menu, e.g. Spanish almond tart (I've taken a photo and uploaded it above somewhere), and it changes regularly. The place is full of candles and with the fairly dim lighting, it creates quite an intimate atmosphere. Food is interesting and whenever I've eaten there, well cooked. (They often have seared fois gras with fried egg and sweet wine as an accompaniment, which is heavenly - try it). Like the previous reviewer said, the 'additions' to the bill are annoying - like the 'eat in' charge - maybe I could have it on the pavement next time and save a fiver?! Overall, a good local restaurant, and I think better than the alternatives nearby, such as Uno and Kazan. If you're in the area, give it a try.

This place absolutely deserves all of the 5 Star reviews. Quaint. Amazing service, great wine list, spectacular food.

What an incredible establishment! Me and a friend were staying just up the road for the night and found this place for dinner. The restaurant is cozy, inviting, and warm and best of all nice and quiet. The service we experienced was second to none, especially the nice man who was especially helpful who I believe was either the owner or the manager. He went so far to make our visit pleasant that he went out of his way to hold both doors for us on our way out. The food is also exceptional. Both of us got the mushroom risotto and it was incredible. Lots of care and flavors are clearly put into the food and it really shows. You really do get delicious and high quality food here without having to pay an arm and a leg which is hard to come by in London. I wish I lived here so I could eat here all the time, and I'm saying that based on my one visit! This place is absolutely worth checking out, highly recommended!

Wow wow wow. Service, wine, and that duck! I'm not sure if that's because I was really hungry, or it was so perfectly cooked (medium rare) but it was fantastic. I'm not a big fan of duck but that one was great! Also, small baby potatoes, delicious bread with olive for a start and nice deserts. I was really enjoying my evening in London thanks to the "about Thyme"!

There isn't much around Victoria Station, except loads of pubs for the after-work crowd but somehow, there's this place, which is just a gem.

The restaurant is a bit away from major Tube stops but we were able to get thee easily by bus. The restaurant is absolutely delightful. It's underground so there's no reception during meal, which is great because we could just really focus on enjoying the meal. They served the customers as a team so everyone was extremely attentive. We ordered the 6 course chefs menu for £60 but it was more like 10 dishes if you include everything they brought out- including 2 smaller starters, 5 dishes, 2 dessert dishes and extra plate of home made pastries. The chef adjusts the dishes based on your requests, restrictions, and allergies. Everything was delicious, creative, and done to perfection. They also have a very good selection of wine by glasses or bottles. I definitely will recommend it for tourists or locals!!

My starter, a classic duck terrine, kept the bar high: rich, expertly balanced, and beautifully presented. Then the meal truly took flight. The first main, the scallops, delivered a masterclass in flavor layering. Perfectly fresh and tender, they shimmered in a buttery sauce lifted by XO--comforting yet sophisticated, familiar yet inventive. A clear sign that Wild Honey takes its seafood seriously. But the dish that justified every whisper of Michelin-level praise was the venison. The cut itself was exceptional, but the execution was transcendent. Succulent texture, bold flavor, and a wild, almost ethereal depth--the contrast felt magical. Each bite was delicate yet powerful, like walking through an entire landscape of woodland aromas and game-forward richness in a single mouthful. Truly breathtaking. The signature custard sealed the evening with quiet elegance--silky, balanced, and deeply satisfying. A perfect finale to a Christmas night dinner we won't soon forget. Wild Honey delivered not just a meal, but a memory. Five stars, without hesitation.

It was perfectly cooked and came with a small cauliflower steak and frisée salad. There was nothing wrong with the sirloin steak, but as a British server in another restaurant once told me: an American should not order steak in a British restaurant. The cheese selection was excellent. Service was mostly fantastic but a letdown at the end. A server asked me I wanted port with the cheese. I said "yes." He put down a class, returned, and poured a glass of Taylor's 10. I remember thinking, this is okay but the 20 would have been nicer. When the bill arrived, I was charged for Taylor 20 instead of 10. It's only a few quid difference but the charge should be correct. I pointed this out to the server. He said he would check with the sommelier. When he returned he said I was served the Taylor 20. I had seen the bottle of 10-year with my own eyes but it seemed needless to argue. It was a disappointment after an otherwise excellent meal. Even if they thought I was wrong, they should have refunded the four or five pound difference off a check that was nearly 300 quid.
