After an exhaustive visit at the Fabric of India exhibit at the V&A, I was excited to spot the Leon, located just around the corner from the tube stop. I had eaten at my first Leon at the Folkestone terminal and it was awesome food and a dining experience like a warm hug, so was now excited to share the concept with my mum, who was in tow. Between the two of us, we got the Moroccan meatballs, fish finger sandwich, beetroot drink, and the lemon, lime and ginger drink and cost around £18. You ordered downstairs and then the seating plus Loo was upstairs. My meatball with rice and coleslaw was okay, while mum really disliked her fish sandwich- we got the faint whiff of overcooked oil, but it wasn't so noticeable when we were downstairs, as otherwise have avoided. I liked the lemon, lime, ginger drink but mum found her beetroot (and blackberry + Apple) too sweet. It was especially sucky as apple is first ingredient and yet advertised as beetroot bramble! All in all, decent food, but I think I prefer the warmth and attitude of the Folkestone location more than this one!

Absolutely love Leon. Whenever I'm not sure where to eat, I always go here for a great range of fast, delicious, and filling vegan/vegetarian options. The Lebanese Mezze salad is very tasty, I usually go for this when I come here. I have to mention the garlic aioli, which is just fabulous. Love the idea of healthy, vegan fast food. I've been to a few Leon locations and it hits the nail every time, no matter what I order.

Totally a fan! I was famished after a comedy of errors getting to my hotel nearby. Spotted Leon, got a quinoa salad with peas and pomegranate for lunch. Enjoyed every bite. Was trying to figure out where to eat the next night and noticed the sweet potato falafel salad. DELICIOUS. Lemonade was fresh. Good, healthy food, fairly inexpensive.

The food is just ok. We got £6 mushroom burger without a side dish and a fish curry that had almost no fish.

Maybe my friend over-sold it and got my expectations up too high, because I was pretty disappointed in this dinner. We were asked if we wanted still or sparkling water. We said still and were brought out a £4.50 bottle. I know it's common to charge for water in Europe, so I didn't think much about it until I noticed that everyone else around us had refillable glass bottles -- free tap water that we were never even told was an option. We were seated downstairs at a large communal table. I don't necessarily mind that, but it was so loud that having a conversation was very difficult. My cocktail was delicious, but so tiny. The wine list was decent -- a good mix of options at various price points. As for the food, it was very hit or miss. The mushroom starter and the pork main dish were delicious. Unfortunately, the two most expensive dishes were disappointing. The prawns had great flavor, but a strangely soft, mushy texture. For me, the flavor made the weird texture okay, but my husband couldn't get over the mushiness of the shrimp and hated this dish. The sea bream was very bland and dry -- highly disappointing for the most expensive item on the menu. We ended on a high note with the affogato dessert (Yum!), but for such an expensive meal, there were just a few too many misses for us.

I'd come with a good crew to enjoy a range of dishes. The beauty's in the sharing…read more Bathrooms are unsettlingly mirrored. Kind of fun, check it out.
